8141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: March 20, 2018, 12:55:58 PM
The advice to you is to control your emotions. it is more important than technical and fundamental analysis if you cant control your emotions believe me you will end up losing all your money.
Controlling emotions is a big part in trading but its not everything. Like for you as an example - you are a shitposter trying to rank up by posting BS in the forum. Dont expect to get any merit if you continue like this though.

One big thing in trading is the capital as well. If you come to the market with high hopes of buying some good altcoins with only 10$ in pocket, forget about it. A good capital to invest in would be anything in between 500 - 1000 $ for altcoins - for bitcoin its even higher.

Try to get a "feel" of how the market works and then put your money here. Remember crypto in unpredictable which is why its risky but again thats why its profitable.
8142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 20, 2018, 12:51:06 PM
It is very hard for someone to stop gambling completely gambling is the same as any risk except you get a financial return.
Financial return and gambling are way away from each other if you talk about returns. Gambling has something called the house edge which will make any strategy that you try to apply null at one time. Hence there is no bust-proof strategy. Again in investing money although risks are involved if you know where to out money into - you will be able to make money.

Quote
Gambling is addictive but you have to set your own limits i the difficulty is recognising you have a problem before it gets out of hand.
True for every addiction. Let it not take over you and make you get sidetracked or on the wrong track. Suicide just because you are in debt is cowardice if you ask me.
8143  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan 0.005820 need for trading and gambling on: March 19, 2018, 05:03:07 PM
I will provide as a collateral all my id address verification banks and my paxful account with over 100 trades
You suggest the interest.
I will provide anything else to verify my identity.
so you can sue me in case of non payment

These are not considered as valid collateral. For more information about what is considered as valid collateral check this - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902

I accpet altcoins 120% of the loan value as collateral - subject to probation from my side.

Otherwise you can lock this thread or wear some red paint from DefaultTrust.
8144  Other / Meta / Re: Merits system suggestion on: March 19, 2018, 01:25:11 PM
Well thought bro I agree with your suggestion. Seeing how merit send and get. Your idea is a solution for these bad merits progress

Why do I get a feeling that you are trying to shill the OP for your own gain? Obviously you are a part of the shitposter mob who got nerfed by the merit system. If you dont want to improve you post quality and want to get money by shitposting and/or gain merits by being a crybaby then dont expect to be in this forum.

Another new day in bitcointalk, another newbie making a repeat thread about "Merit" in Meta. Roll Eyes
8145  Other / Meta / Re: how you guys think about MERIT ? on: March 19, 2018, 01:21:41 PM
Merit is good and also a bad one. Merit helps the forum for spamming and also for having a good quality posters but the negative effect of merit is farming and abusing those sMerit to their alt accounts. It is very unfair to us, we're just new to this forum and even I am having good post I didn't receive merit.

See the merit abusers who you are thinking are getting into alt account farming is actually being done for the greater good. These account farmers will use their merits to rank their accounts - which can have two possibilites :

1. They will be caught and read tagged by DT. OR,
2. They will run out of merits sooner or later.

The first option will negate those account directly from trying to make any money from shitposting. The second one will actually put those accounts in a doldrums state - because they are inherently shitposters and wont be able to rank up their accounts further. They will remain stuck until then improve post quality and all.
8146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 19, 2018, 01:15:44 PM
Gain and loss part of trade but we can recover the losses taking rational decisions. For me it is wrong decision to sell altcoins and start trade to recover loss,If you have affordability buy more because price is low and hold all with patience till find best moment to sell.If you can buy more then hold existing coins with patience dont panic yourself you will find best moment and good profit.

Keep on investing and hold it, that’s the best way to regain your profit aside from trading. Well, lose is normal specially in this kind of market better to start learning on how to deal with it. To prevent any loses, equip yourself with a lot of skills and knowledge.

Keep on investing? Not something a sane person would do especially when the market is red and everything is dropping. Investing, by nature should be done with that money that people are willing to lose - or willing to "waste" so to speak. One should not keep on buying more and more thinking its going to sky rocket after the dump. Price will rise but everyone has their own methods of making money from the dump.

If you want to recover your losses don't think to recover your loss but think to grow it because if you think to recover your emotions will take over you and that means you can enter a trade in a wrong time because you are getting too emotions.

And you need to stop shitposting. Your english makes zero sense to me. Recovering losses on trading does not happen miraculously. Wait for the market to rise.
8147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 19, 2018, 01:10:44 PM
If you can't control yourself then you should quit gambling, gambling is a very fun activity with chances to make money, that is the reasons a lot of people like to gamble and become addicted, there are ways to quit gambling addiction, but you need to have strong will to quit gambling and sometimes seeking a professional help will make the healing process become faster
Right gambling is very fun and easy to make money especially to those have luck, quit gambling is very hard to those people are addicted in to it. Self control is the best way to quit gambling.

People who have self control will not be addicted to gambling only. Discipline is what is required in life if you have to succeed and if it cannot be achieved than nothing in life is possible. Once needs to be smart in what they select and what not to avoid such addictions.

See if a person has discipline then they would not go into gambling in the first place. They would try to work hard and get a proper job and leave the risky life as it is. Having a weak mind easily tainted by the gambling temptation is a sign that the person is negligent of his/her actions and thus the addiction follows.

That's right. Use healthy activities like sports to be a substitute on your gambling time. They say that it takes 21 days for a person to make an activity as a habit that it could remove even your urge to gamble completely.

It varies from person to person. Sometimes tapering off the habit works for some while simply stopping it once and for all works for some. The second one is rare though.
8148  Other / Meta / Re: when my red trust removed? on: March 18, 2018, 05:46:36 PM
I think it is very interesting that lauda himself made posts similar to this, later claimed he was trying to up his post count when he was caught doing this, and is now leaving negative trust for this very same reason.
No proof? Then this is a lie.
Quote
I guess I would ask which is it? Does lauda think this is actually evidence of someone trying to buy accounts? Or does he think this is someone trying to up their post count?
Is quackduckling still trying to make himself look legitimate in front of others? Same old threads in bitcointalk.

When I comment on a marketplace thread, and that does not mean I bought the account and even other accounts. I got a red trust from Lauda. I hope this will be released because it prevents me from participating in bounty campaign.

It wont be removed and more will be added as more people see this thread. I myself have done the same. Sold accounts are not to be trusted. Simple and easy. But anyway shitposters and quackducklings would never understand the basics.

8149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This week in Crypto on: March 18, 2018, 02:58:33 PM
Almost all crypto lost their price. It is because  low volume, FUD, and the ICO hearing.
Good for those who were spreading the FUD. They actually bought in some new coins and stockup for times later on.

8150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 18, 2018, 02:54:56 PM
If you are following my previous post,  you can clearly see i think that the online casino industry can increase the number of bitcoin user, however i still wondering what the casinos should do to optimize their offers, so the players take the next step and move from traditional to crypto casinos.
I am not gambler but as what I see yes it will increase the bitcoin user because they can use bitcoin as their bankroll and it is also easy since its digital coin where we can really see that it will also converted its n Usd or in your own national currency.

True that gambling btc will lead to loss of btc and those gamblers who become addicts will eventually waste money and buy loads of btc to waste in the vicious cycle. But this is just a mere small population of the entire crypto community. The majority of bitcoin spent is on ICOs and altcoin trading. Also you need to improve your English because your words dont make sense.

I’m not gamblers so I never played any of the gambling, and I think that gambling no one had the benefits for me personally, but for those of you who like gambling then do it if according to you good

Hmm another shitposter. Stop making generic posts like this please.
8151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are all LENDING PLATFORMS exit scams? Ponzi Schemes? on: March 18, 2018, 02:51:23 PM
As far as I have seen, all those platforms which have taken up that Lending/Staking method have turned into ponzis. They are in reality HYIP/MLM disguised under some cheap words and a made up whitepaper. They even get their own website and some even dare to put up pictures as a team which is obviously fake teams.

Bitconnect and before that Leocoin and all were all following this method and so are the others that pop up everyday. If you want some legit Lending platform look at SALT and EthLEND.
8152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 17, 2018, 04:44:57 PM
Traditional offline casino are accessible only for middle incom to high class and socialite people but foran avarege person like me it is so discriminating to play on tradition on-site casino that's why online casino has open the door of opportunity to an average level of society with no discrimination at all.

If you talk about discrimination then every casino will discrimiate people or lets say customers on the basis of who has the deeper pocket to spend. Also speaking on your terms a high class person will generally have a lot of money to spend and thus gradually gain attention from the admins of the online casnios - why? Because they are an asset to that casino being a regular player and thus may be able to procure rakeback if the admins want to.

Probably fair is the best choice. how would you gamble your money into a casino that is not fair. It's like giving the money for free.

Correct, always verify the provably fair algorithm before you spend money there.
8153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is bitcoin going down again? on: March 17, 2018, 04:41:17 PM
bitcoin's price drops as much panic and sells bitcoin so bitcoin drops big money now we can not afford to hold it long enough so we can not lose if we sell cheaply panic if the price drops

Yeah and you need to stop shitposting if you want to get rank up at all. Grin Your words make exactly zero sense to me.

I think there has some gambler in crypto market they make news several times that are fully fake and nasty. People believe that kind of news and stop their trading in ctypto market and also sell their BTC. As a result when BTC price down at that time the gambler buy more and more BTC in lowest price.

There are shills who promote altcoins. I have seen brain dead shills posting shit across many social media and promoting totally scam shitcoins. They dont care that its a shitcoin or its a scam project. But often legitimate people fall for them especially the newbies who come to the crypto world.

Panic selling is common and people have their emotions too to keep control of. So its not their fault. However the good thing to do at the time of red market is to hold and see or set a stop loss and sell accordingly in a calculated fashion.
8154  Other / Meta / Re: Merits for Constructive Opinion on: March 17, 2018, 04:35:04 PM
Merit is given to a user who post constructive opinions that are very useful. Unfortunately, not all who posts well are merited. Maybe all we can do is to just continue making constructive posts, and lets do it for the purpose of sharing our knowledge and ideas so we can help everyone in the forum especially the beginners.
its just a joke to give merits to those constructive posts? who can give and who have time to give? there are so many users on this forum and any action that shall be handle by people will be a big problem, especially the merit amount is limited

Merit sources patrol this forum at their own will. They have been notified by theymos (obviously) and they have imbibed the guidelines for merit distribution. There are currently 57 merit sources in the forum. Now what you need to do is to not shitpost and complain about the merit system and start making quality posts. Merit amount is limited to prevent you shitposters from ranking up and getting quick cash for shit-bounties.

In course of time these shitposters will become tired of shitposting and they will leave the forum. Something that will bring a radical change to this forum.
8155  Other / Meta / Re: Lets Make a new board/section for "Merit Discussion" on: March 17, 2018, 04:29:43 PM
Did I do the right thing in giving him a merit?

I think that you did. We shouldn't treat merit as something that only exceptional posters deserve. We have so much merit that we can share some points with new users who are showing interest in the subject and spending a while before they write something. You can see that in some posts that they aren't just generic responses.
I tend to give merit to posters whose posts I like and agree with, posts I personally find entertaining. They not necessarily have to be informative or witty. I think many of us (me included) are hoarding merit points like we were afraid to merit someone that is a spammer trying to act smart to collect some merit.
You just prove the idea that in the biggest number of cases giving of sMerits stay subjective. Meriting of someone is like agreement with his words, but you are totally right that we kinda afraid to give sMerit to every possible poster whos comment we find the exactly what we think ourselves, cause of this one comment may be good and correct, but remaining comments are shitty or simply weak ones.

You people are still not able to understand which posts to send sMerits to. Yes its subjective but merits are not to be given to every post that a person agrees to. Merit is supposed to be given to posts that makes substantial contribution to the discussion - that may or may not agree to your comment. Yes majority of posts are done by generic shitposters but there are posts in between them done by quality posters.

smurf!!!! I just wished I joined earlier when my friend invited me before, maybe I don't think too much thinking to get merit just to rank up but I was just thinking whom to give my merits, merit policy is good, their is no need to create its own board since meta page is created for that reason.

Are you not a newbie here? You should focus in initiating good discussion in the threads and dont run after merits. That all I can say for now.
8156  Economy / Lending / Re: Need money to launch my business. on: March 16, 2018, 01:24:44 PM
Hi everybody, I know I'm a Newbie, and this thread might look like a scam, but I actually want to launch my business and for that I need a loan of 10 to 15k€.
I will be able to refund you within late may / early june with the benefits that we will fix together.

I have 1 BTC that I can give you as collateral, or convert in any crypto you want which is available on bittrex, without using escrow if you are an active legendary member, if you want more informations about exactly why I need this money, what kind of business does I want to launch or anything else, feel free to PM me or contact me by telegram : @jullianwwb

The first thing that people here would like to do is to provide a signed message from the address that you claim to have where you possess 1BTC in reserve.
The second thing is to get an escrow for this 1BTC because you are going to use that as collateral.

Then only people will take you as a legitimate borrower and not someone who is making up stuff to attract potential victims.
8157  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 16, 2018, 12:53:00 PM

see this isn't in English.. you need to work on your English, once you do you will get merits.. Then you will benefit from the system - its pretty simple

Look at you! You are so proud of knowing English and bashing others for their poor language skills. English language is something given you by birth. Do you have something else to be proud?

Well I am sure he is proud of his collection of physical bitcoins and kialara. Have you even seen the "collectibles" section and the number of successful trades that TMAN has done till date?

Also dont be a cry baby please. Having a good control over one language is something that makes you literate and this forum is filled with illiterate shitposters who come to spam and get some cash in return. Look at yourself in a mirror for example.

It was for you people that the merit system was created. I repeat the advice I gave to cry babies like you in many threads prior to this. If you dont like the merit system - LEAVE this forum.
8158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 16, 2018, 12:47:02 PM
It wont work if you have the coins already since we are all down now.

You will have to hold instead of just losing them.
Many got the same problem like yours. The fight here is your patience. Take this as a holiday and just rest. Maybe next week there will be good news again. Hope and move to spread the news about the altcoin you are supporting.
if you sell your bitcoin you do cutlose and make a loss, you think you can get recover by selling and buying at below price right? but the risk is huge right now, you might get more losses? but if you keep insisting on it, make sure you leave a few percent to hold. because I'm still confident of holding back will recover your losses in the next few weeks
but much people doesnt have that patience.evenmore new investor in crypto market ,could be certained they would felt panic .crypto market right now in not good condition.to much fud entering in it.

But FUD always enters the market no matter what happens. People dont have  steel strong nerves to support them and they fall for every newbie theory that shills make up on the social media. Like I have previously said, the social media including faceache, twatter and instahater are filled with shitcoin promoting shills.

If you want to recover from the losses, the first thing that you need to do is simply control your emotions. It is pretty normal for us to see these dips over and over again due to various factors like investing in other coins, withdrawing funds for emergency purposes, fears that government might ban cryptocurrency, etc.
Well that FUD for sure but its pretty vague on what you said. People become resistant to these news after some exposure.

Quote
However, most of us are just misunderstood about what is going on with cryptocurrency lately, which creates FUD. For us to recover from losses, we just keep buying more during the dip or even increase your income potential by not just sticking to your day job.
FUD is created by shills (mostly). Buying more and more is not always good specially for altcoins which are going stagnant. For bitcoin its always good.
8159  Economy / Reputation / Re: shdvb hacked? on: March 16, 2018, 12:41:51 PM
@MODs, i am requesting to remove the negatives,i am not hacked.

Mods do not remove negative feedbacks. Only the person who has left negative feedback to you can remove it. Forum administration, moderation, and DefaultTrust are different from each other.

The big question is since you are such an old member of this forum (or was) how do you not know this already?

My guess would be that you are pretty bad at scamming and thus need to work on your scammer skills.  Grin
8160  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value? on: March 16, 2018, 12:35:52 PM
I do not know what will happen next with bitcoin , but I bought it and hope that it will rise in price.

Well you can hold it and watch the market. A safe bet would be to make a stop/loss target and sell accordingly. Currently market is red and bitcoin is sinking so not a good time to sell if you bought at higher price.

To me, i will increase my BTC as long as i can and this is a good time to buy more bitcoin.

I can call BTC is The King when market have to follow it Smiley

Well it is definitely the king of crypto if you talk about about its competition to other crypto and the market metrics of bitcoin against other altcoins. The market being red its a good time to stock up and hold bitcoin. Because believe it or not the panic selling will stop soon and whales are going to pump the market and make the price reach 10k or more once again.

Yes, I think Bitcoin will become a long-term trusted store of value. In fact, it already is. Investing in bitcoin is, first and foremost, an opportunity to invest in a sufficiently reliable and in demandable currency. Fast and big profit with bitcoin is hardly possible now. But Bitcoin price will grow and those who understand the crypto-currencies and are able to manage their investments, can use this digital currency as a means of storage with the possibility of a potential increase in savings.

You dont technically invest in bitcoin, you trade it and the profit is made from trading. Although people seem to use the terms interchangeably while talking about bitcoin. Again huge profits are possible if you know where to put your money - but again the risk is there.
