I don't really have a plan. I'm just venting, bracing for impact. I'll still be here hodling in a year or 2 is my guess. Complaining about shit.

Just started playing around with RootStock. I'm liking what I see so far. Always ahead of the curve, Elwar. Saw it has 1 petahash plus now - merge mining on Slush iirc In the vid above Barry says ETC will be the smart contract winner...

many predictions out there that 'dominance' will fall to 18-22% in 2018 because greed/newbie speculators/organised pumps/airdrops'n'forks/ direct fiat-alt pairs on many exchanges incomingready for other stupids: fake news (Peter Woolly is a sex pest(video proof), Maxwell ate my hamster). BCH at 0.45. Lightning not perfect and it's July already (Sept, Nov). Precious metals minor pump. ICO prosecutions=bitcoin is bad. China bans. UK to propose btc is 'against national economic interest' therefore terroristicalist. ETH hacks. Onramps 'hacks'/scams/regulation. No global meltdown in Spring. Or Summer. we: 'really?'

What is the significance of that indicator? Doesn't seem to have much $$$ in it even before the plunge? As I recall, the collapse in inter-bank lending was one of the hallmarks of the '08 debacle. Yes sorry. I have now used the google. A butterfly flapping its wings sort of deal.

you guys seen the DOW?
Yeah, pretty amusing. I'm wondering how far down it has to go before the MSM and Wall Street actually start freaking out. I, for one, think it is time to start crushing the skulls of our neighbors and feasting on the tasty goo inside. wait the mexicans or the canadians?

http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/movies/la-ca-bitcoin-movies-20180209-story.html#nt=oft13a-4gp1Bitcoin promises filmmakers and writers tales of get-rich fever and cyber intrigue This decentralization may change how many films are made, financed and distributed in an era of streaming and studio consolidation. Producer Scott Glassgold is teaming with XYZ Films and SingularDTV, a blockchain entertainment company, and others on "New Frontiers," a sci-fi adventure anthology that will be funded by cryptocurrency. The project, whose directors include Ruairi Robinson and Stephan Zlotescu, is scheduled to go into production in May. It will be distributed through blockchain, a technology that enables peer-to-peer networking.

Remind me NOT to invest in btc futures based ETF (when they come). This is what happened to regulated, approved ETN: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/market-experts-starting-see-parallels-financial-crisis-153200210.htmlReuters reported that the notes “were worth a combined $1.6 billion on Friday… But ended Tuesday at a more-than-92% discount to their closing value the prior day.” Credit Suisse, which introduced the XIV fund in November 2010, announced on Tuesday that it would close the exchange traded fund (ETF) effective Feb. 21 and pay investors the cash value of their holdings, which could be close to nothing.
A sad story of XIV (what a name!). Quite literally the dumbest of the derivative fund world I've ever seen. Should we create a fund that bets against the chance of natural disasters? But that would be soo unfair on the poor Brits. No natural disasters there for ~300 years. Except well Mrs Figgins' horse did once get out, so that might count.

Blockstack Berlin: signature fund event on march 2 Maybe something too visit ......
@ponli137 https://twitter.com/ponli137/status/959758431027646464Pontus Lindblom Retweeted Patrick Stanley The @blockstack #conference in #Berlin March 2nd 2018 looks to be epic! Speakers including @NickSzabo4 @Snowden @valkenburgh @starkness @muneeb #Bitcoin #lightningnetwork #SmartContracts If you've not been to one of these conferences and you are inspired it seems, then surely you must rock up. For me, once was enough, even if it was very 'enlightening', let's say. This one seems quite representative. It has some arguably high-profile speakers, some central figures in the "Core" and lightning, some corporate wonks and not too many utter charlatans (note the sponsor). Berlin also has claims to be a very happening place for bitcoin venues and of course certain other ... things. Take a clean laptop lol. Expecting a full report
