Guys come on. Nobody gives a crap about IQ debates, pen, or other stuff.
Just go there for that : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=9.0

I disagree.  I love pens.  Look at this one:

You know today is gonna be exciting. When The Wall starts talking about pens.

 I'm excited.

Are they available at  penisland.com ?   Grin      (actual website that sold pens, aka "Pen Island")

No, that site redirects to a malicious site.   Anyway, the pen above is one of a limited edition run of 440.  It would be difficult to find and purchase.

Huh! A malicious penis website....who woulda guessed?...

I don't get it.  Are you saying the penis is inherently malicious or is it the combination of penis and website that makes it so?  Penisland could have been a perfectly good pen or porn site rather than a malware distribution hub.  There is no malware here: https://cuntgifts.com/

Virustotal says penisland.com is clean, but your redirection warning has put me off visiting it.

Remind me NOT to invest in btc futures based ETF (when they come).
This is what happened to regulated, approved ETN:

Reuters reported that the notes “were worth a combined $1.6 billion on Friday… But ended Tuesday at a more-than-92% discount to their closing value the prior day.”

Quote
Credit Suisse, which introduced the XIV fund in November 2010, announced on Tuesday that it would close the exchange traded fund (ETF) effective Feb. 21 and pay investors the cash value of their holdings, which could be close to nothing.

A sad story of XIV (what a name!).

I get the sinking suspicion Wall St controls the price now. I'm probably wrong, but I can't shake it.

I was suspicious too until yesterday. Today there is a clear decoupling between Dow and bitcoin.

Quite literally the dumbest of the derivative fund world I've ever seen.

Should we create a fund that bets against the chance of natural disasters?

But that would be soo unfair on the poor Brits. No natural disasters there for ~300 years.

Except well Mrs Figgins' horse did once get out, so that might count.

This decentralization may change how many films are made, financed and distributed in an era of streaming and studio consolidation. Producer Scott Glassgold is teaming with XYZ Films and SingularDTV, a blockchain entertainment company, and others on "New Frontiers," a sci-fi adventure anthology that will be funded by cryptocurrency. The project, whose directors include Ruairi Robinson and Stephan Zlotescu, is scheduled to go into production in May. It will be distributed through blockchain, a technology that enables peer-to-peer networking.
