8161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help with Digibyte on: November 24, 2017, 09:15:27 AM
Hi

Around 2/3 years ago I mined some Digibyte and stored it on the Digibyte app on my iPhone.

Today I tried to access it and entered my phrase to unlock the wallet. It worked but it just says syncing and doesn't show a balance but I know their is a balance on this wallet.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with this app no longer being available on the app store so it doesn't work correctly anymore.

My question is how can I access my coins?

Any ideas?

Thanks

What is that Digibyte app for IoS? there's a variety of digibyte wallet app so please be specific and are you sure it is an app only for apple or you are using some multicryptocurrency wallet?  And I guess the answer is included to what you had mentioned.

Since you said "it just says syncing" did you let that syncing finished or you closed the app?

Wait for it to finalize and finish that so that your balance will show and at this case you just have to be patient and wait it. Till you see what will happen.
8162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Forum full of 'normal people' who over the years became filthy rich? on: November 24, 2017, 09:00:10 AM
All rich people are 'normal people', just like the non-rich.

The elites and the media want to brainwash you to think they are somehow special and put them on a pedestal.
I don't think rich people are " normal people" as your thoughts, if rich people are just nomal like other guys so this world will be furfilled of rich people? Then who will be the poor guy in this scenario?
I do believe they are just also normal people. They have 5 senses and the only difference with them to us is that they are rich, simple as that.

We mostly talk about riches base on our understanding on the monetary ownership of those people. And don't forget that there are "normal people" who normally treating themselves as someone not special, yet they are rich.

The division that these elites and medias are doing is they are defining rich and normal people base on their standards.

And with my life now in bitcoin I may not say that I'm rich, I don't hold a lot of bitcoin but I'm a normal person.
8163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Where did it come from? on: November 23, 2017, 04:00:10 PM
Failures in what? Joining an ICO? if you mean trading. Well before I did had a lot of mistakes for not choosing the best coins in the market.

And another thing that I did is the very popular panic selling, when I see those coins that are on my list falling I don't know what to do before. I'm one of those people that are in FOMO so what I do is just sell it and don't care about my loss.
8164  Economy / Speculation / Re: effect of Tether on bitcoin price on: November 23, 2017, 02:47:54 PM
The tether hack hasn't made a big effect upon the bitcoin.
Actually it did had a big effect to the price of bitcoin, if you had noticed that last time the price from $8,200 it went down to $7,700 so you think that's not a big deal and didn't made an effect?

These kinds of hacks were quite common, even recently a large sum of ethereum got frozen. Other than that in the past through the same address used for hacking at present has been used to hack five million worth of bitcoin which at present is valued to be one hundred and fifty million dollar.

Those Ethereum's weren't hack but it were locked up and they don't have any way to withdraw it now. Hacking is robbing but on this incident, I don't think it is hacking. And those hundred millions of dollars will be stuck up forever unless they'll find a way of resolving it and some devs are suggesting an hard fork.
8165  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow using SebastianJu reviews? on: November 23, 2017, 02:27:41 PM
@OP you can trace his past escrowed TX's there and after taking a peek on his escrow service thread that will give you a satisfying idea.

As yahoo said, he's been around here for years and also look at his trust, that's how the trust rating system works here in forum. Check out his past deals and history that's totally enough for you to trust him.

You're in good hands with him and I think you should close now this thread.
8166  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase vs Blockchain on: November 23, 2017, 02:16:52 PM
In coinbase, you can buy and sell anytime you wish to do it and you have other coins to choose for using them as a wallet but it's up to you if you will use them as your wallet and it is gaining recently 100,000 user per day it means they are good.

While in blockchain.info, they may don't have any statistics on how many users they are gaining everywhere still many do prefer to use it. As a web wallet, it has only 2 coins to use and you can't do immediate buy and sell orders there.

It's more of just a simple web wallet unlike coinbase as an exchange if you are covered within their service, you can withdraw your bitcoin>fiat direct to your bank account.
8167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lending less than 0.1 BTC on: November 23, 2017, 01:55:34 PM
P2P type of lending is well known here in forum as majority are trusting the lenders here especially the ones that has many experiences of past loans.

At this rate, if you're just a newbie and you don't have something to offer equivalent or higher than your asking loan amount you may even tagged as newbie asking for loan without collateral.

But if you do have something to offer in return as collateral that is worth for your asking loan amount, you can have a successful deal.

If you hold some altcoins that has potential or not just a worthless coin and has great value then that can be a good collateral.

8169  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: HELP How long it’s the BTC gets on my wallet on: November 22, 2017, 04:41:04 AM
I guys I make one withdraw from blockchain wallet to my Uphold wallet the 16/11/2017 at 11PM but still not have any confirmation. And the fee was over 100K satoshis idk what happens it’s pass like 4 days now.

Still no answer or your transaction has been confirmed now? 100k satoshi's are still not that high when you want your transaction to be prioritize.

But that's enough to be confirmed for a while but I can't think why for 4 days after you posted and let's see after 8 days if that transaction is still stuck.

I'll take a guess, you don't reply here anymore because it has been confirmed, right?

8170  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Cloud minning to invest my Bitcoins ? on: November 22, 2017, 04:18:45 AM
im new and i now with coud minning , i can win some bitcoins
I want now opinion about this to invest some Bitcoins

What cloud mining are you in with now? No, you won't win some bitcoins there but you will lose some bitcoins there.

It has been on this section that there are too many newbies keep on asking about cloud mining if they are worth it or not. Since you are on this section why not try to scroll some topics like these and look for different point of views there that will only end up with the same saying, "they are scam".

8171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase to $100,000 says expert on: November 22, 2017, 04:03:07 AM
To be honest I was afraid of such numbers. I don't understand how is the price of bitcoin. I don't believe the experts. Nobody still doesn't know who Satoshi Nakamoto. Suddenly bitcoin is the American project? Maybe he was created in order to collect the maximum possible number of dollars and then bankrupt him. This may solve the external debt of America.
Don't be afraid, just ride it. We are just small thing in the crypto world so if an expert that holds thousands of bitcoin says this who knows if they are planning of doing it so.

I don't believe them either and still it all depends on the reaction of the market with their words. This has been affecting the price if there are news out there that are positive to bitcoin.

But recently, news tells us that on how bitcoin is dependent to these whales. They are saying what they want to say and what they wish to happen.

And with your question, there's no clear answer about that. All are speculations but what's important that bitcoin has a value, great value.
8172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Change rules in bounty programs. on: November 22, 2017, 03:47:07 AM
How do you feel about the fact that in some bounty companies change the date of delivery of reports. Change the amount of coins.
In general, at the height of the advertising company do what they want. I am amazed at this dishonest game. What is your opinion?
When it comes to change of rules on bounties, it can happen anytime they wish to change. But the question is did they notify you before changing the rules?

If they did it so that is acceptable but if not that's unfair. And you should check always the rule of the bounty as most of them has the right of changing it even without prior notice.

But I haven't seen changing those rules by surprise.

About report submission, why is it that it bothers you that changing the date of delivery report? Is that too heavy to follow new dates?

With the change amount of coins, as long as you are paid accordingly well it doesn't matter you are having free money but I know what it feels about that if you did participated to that bounty for so long just like what I said they should inform you.
8173  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do ICO's need licenses? on: November 22, 2017, 03:22:26 AM
After some ICO's that just turned into scam and is a way to make more money for the people behind it, there should be regulation for it but the thing is that how they can be regulated and distributed a license for it?

In China, ICO's were banned because of that reason. They had mentioned that these fund raising are illegal and something that will threaten their entire economy.

The only way to license these ICO's is if the country where the owners / developers of these projects are living in a country that has strict rule for ICO.

There is a discussion about this from theymos, take a look https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2070397.0 the points of getting a certification or making their business registered first.

8175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Right time to Buy the Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2017, 11:00:54 PM
I want to know should I go to buy for the bitcoin right now?

If you plan on hold and goals for a long term investment through bitcoin, you should buy now. Don't wait for the price to get up to $20,000 and then regret to say that you should bought when it was half before.

Should I need to wait some more time?

There might be an expected correction that will happen but base on the news that will occur on December, it's a good time to buy now because the price might increase some more during that time.
8176  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] | 🔥🚀 PROPTHEREUM Signature Campaign 🔥🚀 | ( Full Members +) on: November 20, 2017, 10:48:29 PM
Hi ahmed the wallet is still empty, any news? Are we going to continue?
8177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is going down. on: November 20, 2017, 08:01:21 PM
By the time that OP posted this the price of bitcoin was very low and if you did ever bought some at that moment you are very lucky as the price of bitcoin now is at $8,000.

And many says that we will break another wall on $10,000 but no distinct time on when this is about to come.

If you still have enough funds for investing in bitcoin, keep on buying. This is the most profitable coin so you'll never be wasting money there.
8178  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would Bitcoin price reach $10K by the end of 2017? on: November 20, 2017, 07:51:36 PM
Six months ago I did not expect this to happen, but now I think it is possible.

Many encouraging news lately.  Here is one of them:

https://qz.com/1133670/bitcoin-price-at-8000-institutional-money-poised-to-enter-the-market/

Bitcoins futures implementation and the participation from institutional investors.

What do you think?
I didn't expect it too before that the price of bitcoin will be good at $7,000 and now at $8,000. I'm only thinking that it will be stable at $1,000 but luckily we're really far from before.

But $10,000 at the end of this year, if the price continues to reach $9,000 before this November ends maybe we can see it possible for the month of December.

If it didn't went at $9,000 on the first day of December, $9,000 is a very good and stable guess at the end of this year.
8179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: November 20, 2017, 07:40:28 PM
My opinion is that bitcoin will grow to the end of the year, because most of investors invest their money in this coin.
Price now is $8,222 and that is happening and we are already on our way to see bitcoin grow now. As CME is about to come on December, this probably the reason why the price increases.

And if the price of bitcoin still kicking before the year ends, there will be some correction or dips earlier next week but that's not too deep as it can recover immediately.

This is why many are staying their faith to bitcoin for witnessing it many times on how it did went through different many trials.
8180  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info stuck transaction on: November 20, 2017, 07:27:56 PM
What?two weeks of no confirmation? That was totally an absolute delay, it will piss me off if my transaction didn't even confirmed by that long.

Can you post the TXID let's see if that can work through accelerators? I guess it was bypass by the miners since the fee was quite low and what I don't understand on how it did went lower automatically.

You can post your TXID here and let these people accelerate it
