I have V16 as i am one of the large forgers. We need to have the forgers all on the same version before telling everyone to upgrade. Once the big guys have confirmed to be on v16 then Qora will release it. This is so not to cause too many forks  You big guys don't issue all the possible assets yet, wait for smaller guys We are waiting for everyone to be forging on v16 before using the new functions  |

I launch new version , how long it must sinchronizing?
Took about an hour yesterday for me with the third attempt. The first two attempts were stuck, so i had to delete the 'data' folder and start again. Took me about 40 mins on V15 and V16 |

Yesterday I bought at poloniex about 200000 Qora and transfered them to my qora wallet. They appeared in my wallet as "balance" but not "confirmed balance". Today when I looked in my wallet there is nothing - not even as "balance". Can somebody held me to find out what happened and where I can find my qora coins?
Ask polo support. You may have been on a fork or they could have been on a fork. |

There is an issue with the current version that is stopping assets from working.
This issue has been solved and I have contacted the large holders to update to the new version as soon as possible.
Once they have upgraded I will post the new version here.

A1: more nodes is better, unless some of the additional nodes are giving conflicting info, then it would make it take longer to sync up. I think the best is to start with a few and then add some more little by little if it isnt syncing with the few. A2: txindex is not actually supported, you can leave that out, I just have it out of habit from other coins A3: I do not know if the Mac version is changed. I dont think so, my version is v1.0.0.0-g32a928e As long as you have the wallet.dat (make backups!!) then your coins are on the blockchain and regardless of version you will be able to get the coins. To be safe, you can do: dumpprivkey <address> in the debug console. <address> is of course the BTCD address. This will give you a bunch of random letters/numbers. This is the magic that allows access to your funds! Keep it super safe. If you are dealing with large amounts, making a print out, or take a pic with enough resolution so you can always recover it. Then make sure you keep super safe the image with your private key James You rock. Thanks for getting us less code savvy people running smoothly. It is greatly appreciated. I have a few different addresses in the same wallet. Do i need to dumpprivkey on every address? only the addresses that you want a paper backup for in case the computer blows up or EMP you can check with the coin control from the send funds to see which addresses have the most funds James P.S. you just make a couple USB backups of the wallet.dat and not bother with printing out the key, just depends on your backup preferences I already have that in place but i think might be worth getting the private key just in case, sucks though i have 12 addresses with the same amount of coins roughly. |

Just out of interest, say tomorrow would be the 2 weeks. If the next day we cannot get 3% it should end in 2 days but what on the second day it does 5% will it still close the following day?
I stated that once the stoppage is triggered, it will be over in 2 days. Since it is likely that a lot of people will do some last minute purchases, it could well exceed 5%, but there is no point to extend the fund raising if less than 3% is coming in. Thanks for clearing that up. |

Whatever is necessary. A lot of hosting companies offer a free trial. What are the minimum requirements (CPU, RAM) and how long do you need them (3 days, 2 weeks, 1 month)? CPU is not so important, the bandwidth would probably be the most important and this is dependent on the number of nodes. it would be an indefinite need assuming it works. These nodes could also be sources for aged telepods and other handy things to have a community run set of servers that is not tied to any specific person James Given say $10 a month per server, $1000 is peanuts. |
