821  Other / Beginners & Help / What shall it profit you to invest in ico and lose established coin on: November 25, 2018, 10:38:51 AM
The market is the on the down road and this time the acceleration is quite moving fast bitcoin has dropped below the 4000$ mark ethereum is at the door of going below 100$ mark and other coin are doing poorly as well.

Little to wonder what hope is there for all this tons of ico around of late I don't want to sound pessimistic about investing in ico but the risk factor is quite higher than the profit.

822  Other / Meta / The beginner and help section is losing great contributors on: November 25, 2018, 09:06:42 AM
The major and most important part of a building is its foundation and if not properly done can lead to a complete destruction.

This is the section I might get needed attention concerning the issue. But firstly let me thank those that has still up till now contributed there part to the B&H section despite the appalling spamming and unhelpful activities of some members

The B&H section is a very vital and crucial section of the forum in fact it's like an orientation and guide section for newcomers and also assistance section for all and needs more selfless contribution.

It can be discouraging bumping into redundant post in any section of the forum and it being on a constant can lead some members to giving up(pushing the ignore button) on the section but there is no place where two wrongs makes a right that action can deprive future member of your contribution.

There are various notable member of the forum that has put the section on ignore for reason best known to them well it's a personal decision and I must respect that but I appeal that there be a consideration and rather than placing the whole section on ignore let the individual that contribute to spamming be placed on ignore rather than the section it self.

Beginner and help is meant to develop future good members or spammers of the forum so if neglected the forum would still feel the negative impact.
823  Other / Meta / Re: Can Service Section be free of Self Moderated Thread? on: November 24, 2018, 05:56:36 PM
Well from my knowledge it's called service section that it's a section you can offer you services be it illicit or legit you are offering your service and it's at your discretion so you can decide to end your service or feel that you don't have interest in continuing it anymore.

The forum has checked so many factors before making that section self moderated if you report any of there scam post and it deleted the forum has a back up system and can access it and dish out a negative trust to the guilt party..
824  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Feedback without reference on: November 20, 2018, 11:25:43 AM
If you don't really understand how trust feedback are done

This just a basis trust feedback be it positive or negative is give by only a DT and not just by any user

And there are always a reason for it although not stated on the profile just like when ever you get banned the reasons are not stated till you appeal.

And DT are reputable members and are not bias in the dishing of trust feedback so you can count on them Even without leaving a reference so things are better concealed till when the matter arises to keep a healthy balance of the forum
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new crypto exchanges fails to grow ? on: November 19, 2018, 09:34:27 AM
You should rename this post because it just looks like absorb of advert to me. And beside your stated problem that affect exchanges are superficial you avoided the main problem of exchanges which is security alot of exchanges has suffered in the hands of hackers and fraudster and made a way with company and clients funds some exchanges dont even give compensation to client
826  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's aid the not so fluent in English on: November 19, 2018, 09:24:54 AM
Huge number of international forum  employ the use English as there medium of communication. English is a widely spoken language across the world and is mostly used here in the forum.
I wouldn't say that the lack or poor use of English is the major restrictions for some users some have not just had enough zeal or readiness to try.
Most time a post with a good idea and passes a good message but through a medium of poor English might not get criticized. That's not to say English is not important in fact it is a the forum is concerned and if an individual is finding it difficult can just do themselves a favour an embark on learning English, they can do that through various means like online and offline English classes, reading novel and article, trying and open to correction e.t.c the forum doesn't necessarily have to cater for that.
827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another step in my cryptocurrency knowledge quest on: November 19, 2018, 09:08:23 AM

828  Other / Meta / Re: I do not remember the password and email on: November 17, 2018, 09:15:27 PM
The art various ways to regain access to your account firstly you are not taking the right step asking individuals to send you a mail. You could always reach the administrator but he is quite busy. You can follow this linking you finding difficult to understand what sign message is.

829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Terms in the world of cryptocurrency. on: November 17, 2018, 09:46:59 AM
I must applaud your help and work but your terms are quite superficial and most are known already you did not go extensively but not to worry the forum has a search icon a the top right corner you can just use it. There is a post that can be useful to you and others as well

830  Other / Meta / Re: Are sMerits replentished periodically? on: November 17, 2018, 08:33:39 AM
Smerit are replenished for merit sources. There a various merit sources in the forum some we know and some we don't know always on the look out to balance the smerit distributions. One great quality I have come to notice in a good merit source although I have not been here for to long is that a merit source does not consider a post worthy of getting merit from their perspective alone they also view the post from the point of view of other members a post might not be new or helpful to them probably because they know about it already but it might be necessary for other members and helpful so one or more smerit might be giving considering the delivery quality. And you don't necessarily have to give smerit to individuals based on rank or based on what you would receive after. Those advice you received from legendary members would have come anyway in as much as you meriting them probably made them observe you I don't think that is the sole reason for the advice (they are not in desperate search of merit)
831  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, help me, please! on: November 15, 2018, 08:26:26 PM
Its really sad about your account but the forum is very fair on issues like this probably you must have broken one or more of the forum rules

And you account being ban is a wrong assumption it's you the owner of the account that is banned from the forum to protect the interest of other member and the forum. Well you can appeal to the stated email
832  Other / Meta / Re: I put the meriters and the OP on ignore for this thread. on: November 14, 2018, 08:29:17 PM
The post you were referring to has a reply button available and should have been used to vent your disdain. Creating another thread linking to that thread is just like a long chain of wrong threads. Everyone has their own discretion on how to use the ignore button but would it be healthy if a thread is made when ever it's done? And beside every merit giver has their reasons for doing so it must not appeal to everyone, if a post Can trigger a strong communication in someone and they have smerit to give out then it's no big deal.
833  Other / Meta / Re: Hi! Newbie here, kinda need help on: November 13, 2018, 06:02:29 PM
Reading your post you mistaking bitcointalk forum for another thing entirely. Bitcointalk forum is a community where we come to discuss everything bitcoin and cryptocurrency related. And both the merit and trust issues you pin pointed are purely the forum related it has nothing to do with bitcoin itself. As a newbie that you are if merit and trust are the two thing you first want to understand about bitcoin then you need to do an attitude adjustment. It's best you read more about bitcoin
834  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin discussion on: November 13, 2018, 08:33:24 AM
Most altcoins are rubbish, but there are a few new ones that are worth discussing in my opinion. It would be nice if there was a board for these discussions.
Yes that what the altcoin discussion section is originally meant for going by the name ALTCOIN DISCUSSION which implies that it's a place for the discussion of all coin apart from bitcoin. But right now it's spam discussion and this is very sad
835  Other / Meta / Altcoin discussion on: November 13, 2018, 08:24:33 AM
The altcoin discussion is really in a dilapidated conditions spammers and bounty hunters rush up there just to complete their bounty post. Many post there get over 200 replies and half are spam the other half are one liners in disguise. How would it be if a post there that has lasted long and had had 300 reply be moved to the archive section. A post made there probably get to the third page so quickly. Can there be a complete waste drainage allocated to that section
836  Other / Meta / Re: I've started 16 threads. on: November 12, 2018, 03:01:32 PM
I would love to be part of the discussion on that board and contribute to it but presently my restrictions limits me on the board I can only watch and not post.  It's really hurt me deep. But I know I will give my best to be there
837  Other / Meta / Re: New type of fraud on forum on: November 12, 2018, 01:26:53 PM
Firstly it's so easy to just click on a member name and copy his profile link and use it to register for airdrop but you can't do that for signature bounty expect the individual is also on that bounty and actively wearing the signature. Well there is hardly anything the forum can do to prevent some one from accessing any link. But the culprit Cup can run full and get caught probably on the spreadsheet of the project and would get their deserved punishment. And also it very rear to see a reputable member wearing a bounty signature( if they do it's well organised)
838  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The more information obout bitcoin history the better on: November 12, 2018, 01:12:40 PM

839  Other / Meta / Re: Top Members Vs Junior Members on: November 12, 2018, 06:59:38 AM
Your post is quite had to comprehend let me correct you the forum is not on any competition and there is no battle between top members and junior member so change that topic. Besides someone can be in the forum for a whole year and still be a junior member while some one that has the requirements in the required time can leap up junior member rank. No one is restricted from posting and scam going on there are even some right source to direct your allegations and would be addressed properly the guilt party will get punished (red trust) if it's a member. But this wrong thoughts of any vendetta against junior member should be eradicated
840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Green Trust Rate? on: November 12, 2018, 06:24:11 AM
Trust rating are giving out to members that has been genuine or dishonest with there dealings. If you have genie you get a positive trust(green) and if the opposite is the case you get a negative trust (red) trust rating a dished out by DT there is a list of some highly positive trusted members you can possibly look up to as a mentor in your quest https://bpip.org/
