821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Media to Crypto on: October 24, 2018, 07:30:06 PM
1. How does Social Media effect Cryptocurrency?
Nowadays social media is the easiest and best tool to spread information in real time. So I think this really helps new people to get to know cryptocurrency. Moreover, social media platforms are now connected to each other. Instead of using print and television media, I think social media is better.

2. How does Cryptocurrency effect Social Media?
Cryptocurrency can be adopted, for example, for payment of social media platforms, as we know there are Facebook and Instagram that provide paid advertising features where we are also required to pay according to the rates provided and currently can only use paypal and the like. With this cryptoccurency can be another alternative that can be used for the payment. In addition, this can also be used as a universal social media token.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, governments on: October 24, 2018, 07:18:08 PM
It would be silly for central banks to not be accumulating some Bitcoin just in case. They understand how money works..
the central bank cooperates with the government to make regulations that are difficult for cryptocurrency, this aims to take over the circulation of cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. In addition they also put several people to make ICO or startup projects to get bitcoin. They play behind the screen bro
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world becoming tokenized? on: October 23, 2018, 08:10:48 PM
I get the impression that every influential entity has plans of creating its own currency. There's even speculation of Facebook creating its own ICO.

Do you think that fractionalized ownership will be applied to everything? Are all assets going to be tradable?
Naturally, if it happens like that because now is the era. People will be required to choose which is good and not good for themselves. Almost all assets will be traded for their business interests.
824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run Signals on: October 23, 2018, 08:03:12 PM
Based on last year/years bull run, what do you consider to be signals that indicates this kind of movement? Do you see these in nowadays' BTC/Altcoin markets?
Current market conditions are quite stable, this is good for developments for coins or related tokens. Because with so little risk for a very high price jump. pending what will happen next in 2019.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Better Understanding of Bitcoin Maximalists Needed on: October 23, 2018, 08:00:10 PM
In short, it is considered bitcoin as the only cryptocurrency that best then considers other altcoins not as good as bitcoin covering their development and technical aspects. But in fact there are several other altcoins that have these criteria such as Ethereum, Litecoin, and others. If I better enjoy subjective what they give to cryptocurrency users.
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian ICO's on: October 23, 2018, 06:25:08 PM
Hello everybody!
Many Russian startups are trying not to focus on the fact that they are from Russia. According to legend, this could stop a potential European investor. Europeans, be honest, is this meaningful to you? Really interesting  Wink

Let's talk about ICO investments, to be quiet clear
I think for now not only patterned on the Russian because many ICO projects have teams from various countries. There are also those from developing countries who also try to make ICO projects. We cannot be pegged to just one country, this is universal for all countries. I also see that there are also many potential investors from Asia such as China and Japan.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: first term "HODL" on: October 22, 2018, 08:27:41 PM
HODL or selling are choices and strategies that are actually quite widely used in the investment business world. I understand "HODL" as a strategy while driving public opinion for certain purposes. So there is nothing wrong with that sentence. We better focus on building public trust in bitcoin.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's original idea... on: October 22, 2018, 08:22:58 PM
This is true, a small number of transactions is a problem. Because sometimes the number of transactions can be less than the transaction costs themselves. So many tokens have sprung up that offer ideas to overcome this, but even now I think that people's interest in these tokens is still below the scale of people's interest in bitcoin. Hopefully this problem will be solved soon so that bitcoin can reach all lower classes to the upper classes.

This project is quite interesting, but you need to make a few breakthroughs so that more people and communities are interested in your project cause I see in your telegram group there are still very few members. Or for example making a vote for a popular exchange where HMN will be listed like Binance, Bitfiniex, and others.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2018 is the year of altcoins on: October 20, 2018, 12:32:13 PM
McAfee deliberately made a statement like that because to attract the interest of those who see it, because we know that whatever is said by popular people will always have a tremendous effect, whether it's good or not. We also know that McAfee also acts as an advisor in one of the ICO projects recently.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between airdrop and giveaway? on: October 20, 2018, 12:23:13 PM
No one has monopoly of knowledge so I want to know the difference between airdrop and giveaway. My question arises from the recent challenge I faced in this forum that lead to my banning for a week. I have been searching for the answer but I am not satisfied with my results. I also want to know so I can better avoid making such mistakes and for the good of the newbies too. While I remain grateful for being free from such ban because it felt terrible.
both terms are almost the same in terms of understanding. It's just that the term "airdrop" is used more often. Overall the purpose of the airdrop and bounty is to give gifts or tokens for free to participants who follow the rules made by the parties concerned. But you also have to be careful to objectively choose which airdrop or giveaway you will follow.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Be Careful with ICOs on: October 19, 2018, 04:31:11 PM
With so many scams around these days, investing in ICOs is a challenge. Aside scams, there are issues related with the viability of tokens, and utility. That is why I've been researching on how to get the right sort of token. Investors also need to do more research before paring with their money in ICOs. This article gave some insight https://cryptoinfowatch.com/initial-coin-offering-choosing-a-good-token/
ICO fraud occurs due to several factors. For example, a soft stamp is not achieved, so inevitably they have to find ways to find ways to get the capital they are targeting. So rather than you researching a new ICO, you better invest or buy an ICO project that is already on the exchange, because this is more convincing. Besides, this is the worst year of ICO in my opinion.
833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: October 19, 2018, 04:26:23 PM
It really depends on what you mean by "accept".

If you mean the government "accepts" bitcoin in terms of legality, then sure. It has a significant effect, whether or not if it's actually going to be used for payments or for store-of-value only. While bitcoin will definitely not go anywhere even if it becomes illegal, bitcoin being legal is still quite important. Though bitcoin can still work without their interference. It's just that people are likely more to hold and use bitcoin if it wasn't illegal.
If the government accepts cryptocurrency, the regulation will be made difficult because bitcoin is above fiat money. Which regulation will be used as a way for the government to take unilateral profits. What I know is that there are already a number of developing countries that include cryptocurrency as a commodity, not as a currency.

Can Bitcoin become the universal currency of the world? What is the reason?

Universities and colleges are opening up to the idea of taking donations via cryptocurrency…by Manoj Sharma for CNR Earlier this week

Of course you can, provided the government wants to conduct a neutral study, not just on the negative side. Bitcoin is good if it is used as a universal currency because of its limited amount, this can prevent the country from experiencing inflation, and ease of transactions. But the government must also care about miners because bitcoin transactions depend on miners as well.

836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the right time to trade, or wait until the market returns to normal? on: October 10, 2018, 09:23:42 PM
Do not force trading in flat pairs if you are not used to it. Choose coins that have high volume for other alternatives, because most people like high volume so it is easier to analyze when to buy and when to sell.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin leverage Trading on: October 10, 2018, 03:30:03 AM
Hello, bitcoin community! I would like to share a link to an article about biggest leverage rates that bitcoin (and others as well) can have right now in the market https://www.cryptocointrade.com/trading-blog/where-can-i-trade-crypto-with-the-highest-leverage/. What do you guys think? Is bitcoin trading enriched by a 500x rate and have you ever used it on your own?
Leverage trading always carries a big risk, this is why I never want to use leverage trading. You better trade without using leverage because it will make you able to learn to manage risk management well.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: October 10, 2018, 03:25:00 AM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than other than Ethereum.

Yes, of course Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, the altcoin pioneer. Whereas Ethereum in my opinion is not the king of ICO, because they only provide intelligent contracts that can be used by many ICO projects today. Actually there are several platforms like Counterparties but are less popular than Ethereum. I think the ICO king is LISK because at the beginning of its emergence he gave innovations that have been emulated by many ICOs today. But unfortunately the ICO is currently only 30% which can be said to be successful and run well, and the rest ends badly.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will South Korea become the World Bitcoin Special Zone? on: October 10, 2018, 03:18:33 AM
Gov’t of South Korea is Endorsing Crypto and Blockchain Like No Other Region

South Korea is leading an example of being the world’s most hospitable regions for crypto and blockchain entrepreneurs. The world’s eleventh-largest economy has committed a $100 million fund to develop its capital Seoul as a center of blockchain innovation. Park Won-soon, the third-time governor of Seoul, during his visit to Switzerland’s Zug last week, revealed that...

Actually this is not new because Asian countries, especially China, Japan and Korea, are very open with technological advances. Moreover, they see this cryptocurrency as the best alternative for future economic system changes, just as they create robots to help their work. And in fact the prosperity of the country is very good because it is able to adapt to the progress of the times.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines Deports Mastermind of $33 Million Bitcoin Pyramid Scheme on: October 10, 2018, 03:02:35 AM
https://www.ccn.com/philippines-deports-mastermind-of-33-million-bitcoin-pyramid-scheme/

These pyramid schemes are the ones giving bitcoin a bad name taking advantage of those people who have less knowledge about the technology. That's why it's really important that we do our own research to something that we wanted to invest our money in to avoid being scammed by these scumbags.

Philippines is a crypto freindly country and lots of people are benefiting from it and since there are so many pyramid schemes happening in this country I just hope that this wouldn't create an impression to those who wanted to learn or invest in this awesome technology.

Do you think this is a ground for banning bitcoin in the Philippines? Will bitcoin regulation save those potential investors not to be scammed? Share me your thoughts!
Pyramid business has been very attached to the term online business. Almost all online businesses are entered by this pyramid system. Because basically the pyramid business will only bring negative effects to anyone who follows it. I think the Philippines is a big country, so it's only natural that they do that because they see Bitcoin as an online business like everyone else.
