8321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Deep Onion on: January 08, 2018, 02:29:07 PM
Difference? Bitcoin is not an altcoin while deep onion is an altcoin. There are comparison's that we shouldn't do and it's nonsense to ask what's the difference of it. Bitcoin is popular while deeponion isn't.
The popular comparison of oranges to apples can be applied to these two.
8322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 will see the clues on: January 08, 2018, 01:00:15 PM
2018 is going to be the real test of bitcoin, if it is a bubble then it is going to be the year when it's explode.
The real test of bitcoin? Isn't this has been told before that during those fork times that are the days that bitcoin is on a real test? Bitcoin has been said that it's on a bubble since the past years and it has been exploded. I don't know what keeps on your minds about bitcoin bubble, it has been established for how many years and still you can't accept the fact that it's growth is legit.
8323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin or ripple ? on: January 08, 2018, 12:18:08 PM
brothers who will take leadership ripple or bitcoin ?

will there be a war between ripple and bitcoin ??
There's no need to ask if there's a way between ripple and bitcoin. We know that XRP is centralized while bitcoin isn't and XRP has banks that is supporting it so it's up to the people who are avid investors of cryptocurrencies on who will be they supporting. Wise investors doesn't go with centralization and will just dump off their XRP just like what's happening now, bitcoin will always take the lead.
8324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: looking for passive income coin on: January 07, 2018, 09:37:31 PM
Everything is listed on coinmarketcap, just do your own research on this thing. Looking for a coin that will give you passive income? a coin that will give you passive income? Each coin has their own market and if you are still unaware about that, you can actually earn from buying and just holding it. And when it comes to building up your portfolio, I will suggest that do your own research, don't believe people on internet while suggesting what coins are good to buy, they want you to pump their market.
8325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Forgot MEW Password on: January 07, 2018, 09:05:29 PM
What does brute forcing the password means? How to do it? I might remember some part of it, or at least I can guess some, but what is the procedure?
Is it saved in that .json file in an encrypted form or something?
Forcing to know your password in such ways through some recovery services or programs created for it. As encrypted form that will be more of a challenge to recover your password, if you can't remember your password try to look for people who are offering such service like this one..

I would say contact him: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130960 for wallet recovery.
Good luck to your recovery, by the way how many tokens and ETH you hold on that wallet?
8326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 07, 2018, 08:51:01 PM
Way back those years bitcoin isn't valued much by that time so it's okay for him not to recover that as no one expecting that bitcoin will be on this stage. And it's like the most popular problem before of those miners that has mined a lot of bitcoin, they want to store it for real but unluckily as they look for some security to their bitcoins, they are wiping out their storage upon backing it up and unfortunately, they aren't able to make one back up for it.
8327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet for ETH? on: January 07, 2018, 08:36:29 PM
hello guys i have some ETH in blockchain
my pervious wallet was hack in blockchain.
do you have any advice for eth wallet?
any web wallet or stable wallet??
So it means that you don't have those ETH anymore. I have some ETH too on blockchain but it was still there, don't just fall for phishing links as they're hot for now as it's price is urging and leading it's holders to another ATH. There are good wallets for ETH such MEW, JAXX and exodus. The most popular one is MEW, it's either you keep your private key or JSON file.
8328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: January 05, 2018, 10:40:42 AM

It is becoming more and more difficult to participate in the comments, probably to start seriously with what I will post, simply for the common good of the community.
In what way do you find it difficult to participate in discussions? What you must do is to look for those threads that you really want to join and it's on your interest. Don't comment to a topic that you really don't know and you don't have interest of knowing what that topic is all about. If you'll try to join to those discussions without knowing and understanding any single word you are about to say, you will lead yourself to post off topic comments that are unnecessary to the discussion.
8329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Ripple Now? on: January 05, 2018, 10:14:13 AM
That started other XRP holders to dump it because of the frustration that was announced by coinbase. Ripple is starting to drop for now and every trader is trying to realize that they are supporting a bank supported coin and if you just bought this coin just because of the hype, you need to take your profits for now. I'm not forcing you to sell but in my opinion it's a good time to sell while it's not that dumping much.

I sold ripple yesterday at peak and some also today...
Good for you, that's a good timing that you had sold it before it dropped.
8330  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I need a Blog Review - ProtonBitcoin on: January 05, 2018, 09:59:44 AM
I just read your blog and it's a good one when it comes to it's interface, it's neat honestly. But with your first sentence that describing Satoshi Nakamoto as "unknown group" we don't have a fact about that if he's only one or a group. It's your opinion that it's a group but that will mislead beginners and will also convert their mind to believe that Satoshi Nakamoto is a group. As SFR10 said, there are some errors and I guess you need a copy reader.
8331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance safe to store cryptos? on: January 04, 2018, 09:57:40 PM
They are a trusted exchange but it's not advisable to store all your wealth in crypto's there. Remember that every exchange is vulnerable with attacks and if you'll try not to follow that suggestion then you probably might at risk. Whenever you'll use binance or store crypto's there those coins should be good for trading not for holding.
8332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I hold BTC 0.05 for future ? on: January 04, 2018, 09:47:49 PM
soon it will be just enough for one tx fee  Cool
That's basically the truth you are saying as bitcoin's price is increasing, TX fee also does. But if you're just hold that in the future since it isn't that much when it comes to the size of TX then probably it won't be that expensive when you are about to send that to an exchange to cash it out. I'm even holding lower than amount so holding that for your future is a good decision.
8333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WHY RIPPLE’S VALUE IS GOING UP on: January 04, 2018, 09:37:39 PM
i sold my ripple holdings last week, anyone think it would be a good idea to reinvest or have wee seen the peak??
In my opinion, you better find some other altcoins that does have lower value than Ripple. It's co founder can sell it anytime and live a decent life with his millions of ripple's on hold. Once he started to sell it and get off to the Ripple community, everyone of you will be affected. And besides, it is centralized and we are in cryptocurrencies were the main role is to get off the centralization.
8334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: January 04, 2018, 09:27:35 PM
There's no age limit when it comes to crypto's or any type of investment and since you are retired and you are living off your pension and savings. This will be a good time for someone on that state to start learning how to do day trading. You'll enjoy and at the same time you'll earn too if you will be familiar on how you can do this. Don't think about your age, age doesn't matter we are all young in heart when it comes to cryptos.
8335  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info to support SegWit on: January 02, 2018, 06:07:54 PM
Are they supporting it already? If I'll start to send some now it will only cost 0.00021924BTC ($2.87). For those people that are stuck and did never send any bitcoin because of the high fees I guess it's now your chance of sending. The fees went down already to blockchain so take it already and send your bitcoins to your proper receivers and as for checking https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ fastest and cheapest fee is 490 satoshis/byte.
No. They said that they will support it in Q1 2018.

Also, you shouldn't blindly use the fees recommended by Earn.com; Instead, I prefer to use this website[1].

Yesterday, while Earn was suggesting ~400 sat/byte fees, I saw that there transactions of 100 were getting cleared, so I sent a tx with a fee of 180 sat/byte and it got confirmed in fucking 21 seconds (the next block). P.S: I could have used an even lower fee but I was in a hurry and didn't want to risk it.

[1] https://dedi.jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/more/#24h

I thought they are supporting it already even without notice. Transactions were cleared for now and the number of unconfirmed transactions as per https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions were down to 132k transactions and that was a great thing. And with your TX, it's good to know that it was confirmed for just 21 seconds. It's like an offer to a TV shopping though that was very quick. I haven't checked out that [1] you gave but we'll look at it.
8336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: January 02, 2018, 05:48:18 PM
Most of the people that are selling their bitcoins now are the ones that they can't really take the few for now. They have come up to a decision that they don't want to but they have to do it as transaction fee is starting to increase and not all the holders, traders and investors of bitcoin can take it anymore otherwise they are selling because they need cash for welcoming the holidays season.
8337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Rating of bounty managers on: January 02, 2018, 05:32:30 PM
There's no existing list of bounty managers that are listed to rate them or does have their rating from other people who participated their campaign. What you can just simply do is when you are about to join a campaign you must check their trust page and see on how many people gave them positive feed back for their smooth campaign that they managed. Most of the participants are giving positive feed back to the bounty managers if they are satisfied with his job.
8338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 02, 2018, 05:09:26 PM
Gone are the times when I used to pay around $0.10 for my Bitcoin transactions.
I miss those days that transaction fees are very cheap but as bitcoin grows the conversion of the low transaction fee is looking high base on our conversion to the current USD value. I did checked the transaction on blockchain.info a while ago and the fee isn't too high, it was around 0.0002 BTC so that was really low unlike before it was more than 0.001BTC. And before when the price of bitcoin is low, 0.0002 BTC is really cheap.

yes, that is not way too much of a transaction fee and it is just fair for making all of our bitcoin transactions possible. Miners are also investing a fortune for their bitcoin mining infrastructure in order to serve and make our transactions get through.

They invested on their mining rig and they are the ones who are confirming our transactions so they have the advantage of requesting or increasing the fees. But for now there are many miners that are back to bitcoin again so that affected the price and it is starting to decrease again. The fees are fair again and if you'll check out https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ it only requires 450 sats per byte.
