9241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: January 06, 2017, 08:04:37 AM
i first gambling in sportsbook and 15 age, because I like the sport and my friend offered me a gamble if the lose had to buy a drink to which win

What drinks you are referring? Those alcoholic drinks? You are very young to have your first gambling sports book experience. So basically most of the gamblers are alcoholic drinkers too. Good thing that I do gamble closely to the legal age I was 17 by that time and I also bet with sports bet by that time but in real life.

To be honest, yes, most gamblers are alcoholic, but sometimes, one of this two ( alcoholic or being a gambler ) is the key to start the other. I my self started to drink alcohol first, and later on I started to learn gambling because of my friend maybe because of peer pressure. Lucky that I was never addicted to both of it, but my friends are.
but i think it is not necessery that every gambler will be using alcoholic, i think  there are so many people who play gambling for fun and enjoyment so i think it is not important that they will be addicted to alcoholic also.

I also do not think that is true. some people just gamble because they want to make fast money what is of course not possible.
Usually people who gamble in real life having a habit to become an alcoholic.
Not with online gambler yeaaa, so if then someone under age gamble online it is doesn't mean they are alcoholic.
But still gambling on under age is not recommended , too much bad side and they haven't make money by themselves.

And that's the reality that I can see guys, most of the gamblers in real life are having the same hobby which is drinking. Just like when one of their peer won from playing poker after wards they are going to hang out and look for some place where they can have some beer and drink or else they will going to keep on playing while having some drinks on their side while gambling, take note they are minors and it is really happening.
9242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 06, 2017, 07:51:44 AM
Gambling is very addicting because you can do 2 things at once and that is making money and enjoying yourself, duo to this it can really ruin your life and you will also get greedy and stay doing it!
Absolutely right, with gambling we don't need work, many people spend time for gambling and they could meet all their needs. With gambling we can spent our hobby, and people are gambling looks happy, youthful and not stress. It may look addict but it was an fine and natural.

No, if you want to gamble you need to have a stable job because that is the one that you will be using to sustain your gambling addiction or if you are not that addicted but with your past time. But once you are going to make yourself attached with it, for sure addiction will just come suddenly especially if you are losing money already.
9243  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 100BTC MAX WIN, WAGERING CONTEST! 1ST PRIZE 1 BTC ENDS JAN 2ND on: January 06, 2017, 07:22:50 AM
I don't have any problem if BitDice stays as a dice casino.
Or have more casino games except dice...
Or even want to have them all and put and a sportsbook... Roll Eyes
Imho a good site don't need to have it all to prove if it's good gambling site. Cool
Lol. Bitdice will stay as dice casino. Look at the name of the site. Its bitdice
If the casino make some changes. Well, they should add more game like roulette, card games or sportbook. I think it will good for bitdice.
I guess it is already on the plan of bitdice to add some games and even though it has a name of bitdice. The site will be more exciting if it will make the whole site colorful by letting its gamblers to try different types of gambling games, since the human nature can be bored easily when we stay at something most of the time.

Yes there are more plans and events coming, for example we just had the wagering event.
9244  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 05, 2017, 10:55:01 AM
Savings or investment is really a good idea.
Prefer everyone to invest money instead of saving. I have invested my half money in stock market.

Much better to say if you are going to prefer them to do both. Because if you will just invest into something what you are going to do with your profit? You will invest it again? It can be but it is also better if you are going to save them for future purpose like to pursue your investment if that ever collapse you can just re-invest into it again with your savings.

9246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for a living or a living for Gambling? on: January 05, 2017, 09:48:30 AM
If there are people who are gambling for living then I guess those are the people who are professional gamblers and that's their main source of income, by simply gambling at all and that is goes the same that they are living for gambling. Each day of their lives are dedicated to gambling if they will not won for a day, they can just gamble again for the next day and wish to some luck.
This is possible and there are really people who lived just on playing gambling only and they are making decent money in able to sustain their needs on daily basis which is really unbelievable thing because we all know its really hard to maintain to make profits on playing gambling but there are really skilled and lucky people could able to handle this thing.

You are right with it, that's truly unbelievable, I don't how those gamblers manage to get some good profit out of their gambling activity. Maybe experience is really teaching them and it is a big factor for those gamblers who are already in the industry for so many years like decades and they are not doing nothing but gamble everyday.

There are a lot of games that will be added the course of time. Right now the admin is extremely busy with offline obligations but we will start seeing new games shortly.
The first priority is to provide players access to different games but the addition of a sportsbook is not out of the real of possibilities.

2017 will be a huge year for both Bitcoin and BitDice Casino!

Good thing that there are other games that will be added. Don't worry we, your supporters are always not in a rush and we'll always wait for the updates that bitdice needs to do for the improvement and giving its gamblers good gambling experience. I hope that there will be another competition in the industry of sports betting.
9248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your luck in 2016.? on: January 04, 2017, 05:58:54 AM
New year started and i did some calculations how much money did i won/lost last year. So, not counting money that i won on gambling sites and bust them in next few days, i lost something around 0.5BTC of my money in whole year, i would say it is acceptable lost for this kind of entertainment. What about You? How was your luck in 2016.?

Well that's good if you are just going to treat your lost as a payment for the entertainment that you got from the casino. And with my luck for the past year I would say that I'm not that lucky at all even I did some strategies still that didn't work out with my gambling career. But still I don't lose hope for this year I wanted to recover all my losses.

9250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: January 04, 2017, 05:41:33 AM
I do it for both fun and money. It is fun to make money gambling  Wink But at the same time it can make people go greedy and take risky bets and lose everything in the process. So gamble with what you afford to throw away.

That's what I do also every time I gamble I always manage to aim first for profit and while hitting to get some profit I will not stop if I'm not enjoying. As long as I am having fun whatever the game I am playing then I won't really care about on how much I lose and if ever I win some good amount as I gamble, then that's why gambling is really fun.
9251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your best luck and worst luck gambling experience? on: January 04, 2017, 05:27:55 AM
I have my best luck but it didn't happened here in bitcointalk or in any gambling site but it happened in real life casino. When I was playing poker in a casino together with my friend who is actually a professional poker player so I let him sit on my table and let him play my $1,000 worth of chips since that is already late at night, I need to sleep and check into their hotel. And when I woke up, boom he did made to win it up to $5,000 but it didn't happened again because that is the last day we met for he needs to go to a trip to US for the upcoming week.
9252  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: January 03, 2017, 09:57:53 AM
If I were you, I would never buy BTC at this time. Price may go down as stone. Afterall it is crypto. After all btc is still secondary or not a primary currency. I do not see any reason to buy btc now. Rather wait for a month or two. It is certain that a correction will occur. Safe bet is approx $700. I would rather buy cheap alts with btc/fiat. Unfortunately I have no capital now

Yeah for those people who wants to buy bitcoin now better to wait for sometime and be patient at all if you can't afford to buy bitcoin today at its current price. But I'm also thinking until when those people will wait if the price keeps on increasing or if the price will decrease but it won't be totally that low, it may be moved but still not too far from its current price.
9253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency? on: January 03, 2017, 09:46:03 AM
I wont say it is the best. Still it has some flaws and that is part of being a currency if we are talking about that. I take it more as a commodity so I dont think much of making it as like fiat. There are still some things that are yet to be talked before this could be a real currency. I mean worldwide or nationwide.
for now it can not be said bitcoin is perfect for a currency. because there is a lot that needs to be addressed as a confirmation and so forth. but I have no doubt with potential bitcoin

There is no even such things and currencies as perfect ones. Everything as their holes but because of many investors already put their trust to bitcoin and starts to keep on investing with it. It is simply the best future currency because there is already a market for it and its market is not just a simple market and its market cap is not even a joke.
9254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 03, 2017, 09:10:56 AM
These  two are esssentials for making a succesful business and to have a better life. If you invest and profit what will you onbyour profit?  Invest it again and again?,thats why investing is always partnered by saving.
true you can not possibly continue to invest with the advantage that you get from an investment, of course you have to keep it save well for your needs. therefore makes saving plan is very important

Yes investments should be backed up always with savings that's what the businessman who has successful investments are doing. That's why saving is one of the best thing to do in every day of our lives especially if you are receiving your monthly salary and you are obliged to pay your responsibilities still don't forget to save.
9255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: January 03, 2017, 08:18:13 AM
The best way to do is just to quit gambling, you are not good in gambling as every time you play you are always thinking of controlling yourself but it does not happen. Bear in mind that gambling is only an entertainment and this game requires deeper maturity as a person to understand that we are fighting in a losing battle if we go further with all our effort and money.

Quitting gambling itself is already a challenge and it is really hard. Some people think of it as an entertainment however most people just think of it as a paradise to get more money, addiction to gamble is probably the hardest think that someone could be free off and most people just ended up ruining themselves more

Yeah, addiction is one of the hardest thing to avoid and stop in terms of gambling. It is happening when a person starts to experience that he is earning good money, fame and entertaining as he gambles. That's why even though many of them are suffering from a bad lose still they are hoping that they will taste the essence of gambling and having good fortune from gambling.

Whenever I tried to stop gambling my mind keep telling me "what if today is your lucky day?", "and if you stopped today, you will waste your opportunity to catch your luck!". That's why, I am still at this business till now.

I think it is being experienced by most of the people here. Because even you have the willingness to quit gambling and stop your addiction but when you think about the chances of winning you will really regret if you will not gamble for a day. But what is happening is a total regret, because most of us are just losing and will say 'its better if I didn't gamble today."

9257  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: January 02, 2017, 06:16:55 AM
There are many reason why i buy bitcoins. The most one is because i buy bitcoin for investing my money. As you can see, the price of bitcoin is increase so high right now. Imagine if you invest your money into bitcoin 3-5 months ago, your money will increase right because the price of bitcoin increase.

This is also my main reason why I do buy bitcoins and the other reasons that why I buy bitcoins is I need it to buy some alt coins for my trading purposes and also for my gambling purposes. But I mostly allocate my fund in buying bitcoins just for holding it and as of now, most of my loss with trading and gambling will be recovered because of the price increase.
9258  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: January 02, 2017, 05:44:38 AM
If the government came out today and declared that Bitcoin cannot be accepted as legal tender for purchases, I believe Bitcoin would find a way. It would find a way only because of the anonymity that today's cash affords people. Cash is the lovely bridge that people use in turning their Bitcoins into value.

Even though there are news that are coming out since the past years that cashless society will be implemented soon with the use of microchips. I bet it that the government will ban bitcoin. There are a lot of financial experts that will volunteer to have sometime to give detailed explanation to the countries that are going to do it so. And instead, they don't have to make their own digitized currency they can simply adopt bitcoin so I believe that bitcoin will not be killed easily because of it.

I think government would rather create their own digital currency than adopting bitcoin. Government are not dumb to handover its Country's economy to Bitcoin whales.  It is the same as giving your country;s fate in foreigners hand.  This is one big problem why bitcoin is struggling to be adopted by any government.  Aside from that, government would favor cashless society because of the control the government always wanted.  And mostly the one stated by Chris4210x
Government will not going to waste their effort creating a new digital currency but just digitalize what they've owned so it's like dollar have its digital form just like bitcoin in internet and i'm sure that it's already happening if you look at some webmoney that having balance in form of those currencies which were owned by the government
That is unlikely to happen since bitcoin has been a big help in each country and it is still in process and would take many years before it happens. However, if that happens there would still ways for bitcoin to still exist. I know that time bitcoin is already well developed.

Seeing everyone's opinion is a good summing up each contents that is possible to happen. I understand the fact that you are not seeing government's adoption of bitcoin because of its decentralization and so called control by the whales. But talking about its ability to make our lives easier as technology is, bitcoin does what it takes to be adopted that the government needs to study its potential.
Even us users do really saw the potential of bitcoin regarding on its benefits and convenience but government wouldnt still convince them to use or adopt it because they know already that they cant able to control it therefore they would surely create their own replica into bitcoin and im assure it would spread fast because its being regulated and people who dont know bitcoin will directly believe into it.

They can however, create a modified version of bitcoins where it is centralized but has all the great features of bitcoins like the blockchain. The ultimate end of it all is that there would be a digital currency that would replace fiat. It is just a matter of time before it happens. Governments will adopt an electronic financial systems that will be smarter and better than fiat or even bitcoins.

This is better I guess when the government will create their very own modified bitcoins, but how they are going to call it? It will be 'modified btc' just to give credit for where all the credits and idea came from? And also making it centralized will be good for them so that they can have full control for everything, also they can just reproduce it.

At first I didn't really get this post but I still made comments but just recently I just find out that something is happening in las Vegas, people from financial institutions and banking systems have gathered and meet on how to use and integrate blockchain technology into the banking system, and China is creating a virtual currency to replace Chinese Yuan. This is a sign that possibly bitcoin will go bankrupt sooner. Maybe a cashless society will kill bitcoin after all.

I don't think that it will cause for bitcoins fall down because of cashless society. Since the idea came from bitcoin and those agencies that wants to integrate with blockchain technology so how that it will be the cause of bitcoins death if they wants to collaborate with blockchain technology? And for those Chinese people even they will have their own virtual currency still many of them will stick to bitcoin.
9259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your good intentions regarding Bitcoin in 2017? on: December 31, 2016, 11:51:40 AM
No change at all, I will just going to keep on collecting bitcoins as if that I always fail to collect and make my own because of some unexpected events that are passing to my life. And also I guess this is the right time to introduce my relatives to bitcoin, first my mom and dad, next would be my 2 siblings and as well as my close cousins.
