8321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 09, 2017, 10:33:24 AM
It's been 2 years since this thread started, I wonder what he did to his 47 btc tho?

Yeah I'm also curious on what happened to his 47 bitcoins now, that's a lot of money now converting to the current price of bitcoin.

I hope that he is able to grow those bitcoins but I have a guess that most of that fund now was used and there are only some left. But I want a twist coming from him that he did a comeback and was able to return his losses.
8322  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: October 09, 2017, 10:12:33 AM
So I have 2 cousins. One of them doesn't save and is a huge spender while the other is a saver and spends only once a year. So would bitcoin be a good way to teach them about saving? Since, mining bitcoin is the only way to make alot of bitcoin, I would use a alt wallet to show them what happens if you spend and don't save. What do you think?

First, don't think that mining bitcoin is the "only" way to make a lot of bitcoin. You should change that mindset because right now, there's a lot of way to make bitcoin and if you want to have a better and stable way learn it with trading.

But the idea of teaching them and giving them lesson about proper saving is a good thing. And with bitcoin, you are teaching two things at the same time.

It's like two birds at one stone, teaching and investing. Pursue that thing because one day, those kids will be our future.
8323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you expect a crash soon ? Or you see bitcoin keep climbing ? on: October 09, 2017, 09:51:16 AM
Feel free to free your thoughts bitcoiners Cool. We are aproaching a major point of the bitcoin bull run so now let's monitorizate the bitcoin rally very very close.

Yap, I'm expecting a crash very soon. But the major point here is the price will be quickly increasing before the fork on October 25.

It's just a normal dry-run with the chart of bitcoin, after a decrease the price will go up suddenly then.

PS. I've learned a new word today, monitorizate Cheesy

8326  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: October 07, 2017, 07:45:17 PM
Mostly I think through Youtube we can't earn Bitcoins but Media campaign will give us other altcoins where we can convert them into Bitcoin. Youtube directly can't pay us Bitcoin only the owners the campaign will pay in altcoins.

Yes there are many types of campaign and youtube campaign is the one that can lead us to earn bitcoin through making videos and uploading it through your own youtube channel.

That's right, youtube can't pay us directly through bitcoin. But what's good with this is that while we are getting paid by making that video, we can add the monetizing feature of youtube.

And that's a win-win situation for all of us.
8327  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 07, 2017, 12:47:42 PM
As an Electrum user, may I ask you kung paano ba ang style ng transaction fee nila?

8328  Economy / Services / Re: bounty: 0.01 BTC to find image on: October 06, 2017, 12:47:00 PM
I am here to clean this forum from scammers. please find the real owner of thsi image I will pay you 0.01 BTC.

I want to reveal this scammer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1191344

How much that guy/girl scammed you? Are you sure that he/she is the one on that picture? A person can use an image from search engine without any permission for their shady deeds.

But what's the twist here, you are both newbies and are you trying to advertise that post that timmydol has made?

How come his name is timmy and his picture is a woman that doesn't know that her pictures was used by crazy people like you?

8330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: October 06, 2017, 11:44:23 AM
The best way to manage your emotion is : Understand your emotional needs. In order to manage your emotions, you need to fully understand them. All of us have certain emotional needs that are just as important as our physical needs. Spend some time taking an inventory of the emotional needs that are most important to you.

Try to accept first that you have an emotional problem and you can't manage your emotion when the red days are coming and to deal with it, you need to find some other things that you can do to change your mood / feeling.

That's the way I'm managing my emotion, I accept that I have some emotional problem but I'm not that crazy to say that I have mental illness, it's different.

Just know your limitations and when your emotion is starting to trigger you, just keep on focusing with your goal and try to breath some fresh air.

8333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you planning till November Harfork?? on: October 05, 2017, 12:48:52 PM
I want to know and take some advices from you guys because I have no idea and I dont want to do mistake.  This time things looks serious and I have fears for the Bitcoin. What are you guys going to do in nexth weeks?

There's nothing you need to do but just to keep your bitcoins as if there's no event that's about to happen.

In what part are you worried and feared for bitcoin? Just like what I said, you don't have to worry about it. Just keep your bitcoins as is you are holding it on your wallet.

Keep your private keys and stay tune more news here on forum, theymos might be suggesting the same thing with bitcoin cash.
8334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: October 05, 2017, 11:52:49 AM
China ban ico  and also try to ban bitcoin. As a result bitcoin dumping and price 3000$ below. Now bitcoin again hit 4000$+ now .Bitcoin can 5000$ before november? I want to hold my bitcoin  plz give me your predict?

It's fluctuating now from $4,100 - $4,238 and it's quite good to see it not going to down further on $3,900.I'll hold my bitcoin too maybe not only for this year for 2-3 more years.

If bitcoin will hit $5,000 before November it might because of the bitcoin gold dumps. But I doubt it that will happen before November.

My speculation is this is possible but on the mid month of November or maybe before this year ends.
8335  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: October 05, 2017, 11:13:34 AM
I still can't say right now which one is the best because I myself haven't tried trading yet but Im planning to trade if I'm ready and know how it works. As of now investing is best for me,ever since I joined in this forum and participated on signature campaigns I invested my bitcoin earnings, and I can see some profits since then which I cash out and use for our daily needs.

We don't have to choose on what's the best between them, gold will always be at the top tier of investments and will be followed by the real property investments.

Diversifying your investment from gold to bitcoin or just have them both and if you still haven't tried to trade, you better try to trade with bitcoin > alt coin.

I can't say that bitcoin has defeated gold, there's no competition for these two beautiful investment.

Exactly because gold has been in existence since  and has withstood the test of time  and we still have good use for it and so i would'n't write off gold at any point because its also a better commodity and bitcoin only surpassed an ounce of gold and not a kilogram
Yes gold has been there since the time of the creation of this world (not to debate about religion) or with the oldest era and civilization time, gold has been treated as a precious one.

We can't compare the old precious one to the new precious one in this modern era. Both has it's respectful characteristics that everyone starts to love it.

I don't know why people keep on comparing it as 1 bitcoin = 1 ounce of gold.

They are comparing because the common units of bitcoin and gold is 1 for each. Like 1 bitcoin and 1 ounce of gold. Very wide units.

We don't need to compare them, they're in different sectors, and comparing them doesn't provide any benefit to the community at all.

It's not right to compare 1 bitcoin to 1 ounce of gold they have their very own good characteristics and bad points if you are an investor.

I really can't understand a digital thing being compared to a thing that's literally existing as physical investment. And we know that gold is old but never been old.

Bitcoin is new and still making it's noise in the world.
8336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 05, 2017, 10:59:14 AM
The answer is very clear, putting all your money in bitcoin is really risky. I don't want to see people ranting out here in the forum telling that he invested all of his funds in bitcoin.

And while he has the hope of earning big with that amount of investment but later on seeing the price of bitcoin starts to decrease then he's going crazy because his money is becoming lesser.

I would advise that you should not invest into only one investment and just let your bank stay at the bank if you'll not going to use it.
8337  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: October 05, 2017, 10:27:05 AM

8338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: October 04, 2017, 08:28:46 PM
I do treat my bitcoins as my asset, just like the other investments and real properties I've got. Bitcoin can be treated as an asset because in the future it will give us a decent profit upon deciding to sell it.

but asset should be something like you will see in the stock market, instead of the crypto market except explicitly mentioning assets, if bitcoin was asset this forum would not even exist till now.

That's it and bitcoin is like that, you are buying a few stock out of the currently 16 million supply in the market and having one of it will make you definitely have an assurance that you have an asset.
