841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $100.000 challenge on: May 07, 2018, 10:55:14 PM
For interested I've decided to do a challenge where I go from $836.92 in BTC and make it into $100.000 before year end - This will all be documented on Facebook through the link below with (almost) live trading history.

Feel free to follow if you like to see me blow up or maybe even hit my target.

https://www.facebook.com/Bitcoin-challenge-1700634350012408/

I am no financial advisor, and it's purely my own thoughts and charts on the Facebook site. It is done as a challenge to myself, and to prove to people, that you don't need a lot of money to get success, but of course, big rewards comes with big risks.

While it is not a bad idea to start such a journey and I enjoy reading about the success stories of people the fact that you have set your goal to be more than 100 times your original investment tells me that you probably have no experience because even with the big bull run that we saw in the last year we did not got that kind of growth, only a few lucky ones were able to get those profits because they invested in the right ico.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Need help in investing not on trading . on: May 07, 2018, 10:49:58 PM

Which will give me maximum return if I hold for 5 year .

voting is open for 1 month Smiley

Thanks
With all due respect if you need to ask someone else about how to invest your money then the answer is simple, you should not invest your money, you are not ready even if you got a good advice and you could earn money the truth is you'll be unable to repeat that feat because you will not know why the person that gave you that advice selected that coin.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 07, 2018, 10:45:16 PM
After participating in ICOs by buying some tokens or participating in bounties, the moment their tokens are listed in exchanges, what do you do guys, do you sell your tokens right away or wait for a more higher price to come?
When it comes to investing I have always believed in holding for long term, yes there is a temptation to sell as soon as possible and get your profits but a short term gain is not really what I'm looking for what I'm looking are big gains, that is why I try to invest in projects that seem to have a chance to succeed in the long term and I try to avoid coins that are created only to speculate with them.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it important to look at the community before investing in their coin? on: May 07, 2018, 10:41:05 PM
why is it important to look at the community of an ICO before investing in their coin?

When it comes to investing in an ico you cannot leave anything out of your analysis, remember you're investing your money and I do not know about you but I do not like to give away my money for free, so researching what the community is like will allow to you to know if they are very enthusiastic about the project, if they are finding bugs in the development, or if they are just a bunch of speculators.
845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: May 07, 2018, 10:37:45 PM
trading is one of those things that you have to spend a lot of time learning it. people keep saying "buy low sell high" like a chant but they don't understand it and that's the problem. it is very easy to learn too but it takes time. you have to start hanging around in the market (on exchange) and start staring at the charts for a long time and try to analyze what is happening in the market.
and also you should always know that the markets are different from each other. for example what works for stocks does not necessarily work for bitcoin and it doesn't work for altcoins. each of them require a different set of experiences to deal with their specifications.
I agree with this, even if it in the surface the tools that you are going to use to try to predict the direction of the market by using technical analysis are the same, traders need to understand that each market has its own characteristics that makes it unique, this is why not only you need to read books and watch previous, you need to watch the markets and get acquainted with them because even if you are a very good stock market trader that doesn't mean that you're going to be a good bitcoin trader and if you have that idea you are almost guaranteed to lose money and then you will need to find a way to deal with that.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are common mistakes and problems of the traders? on: May 06, 2018, 11:27:31 PM
Hello traders!

I am new here in this forum I don't have more knowledge about tradings, but I think maybe someday if I will given a chance to do trading I think I should try it. So I always read articles about tradings and also I read threads here in our forum about trading discussion. However I would like to ask all traders here that have more experiences about trading if what was the common problems that encountered of an ordinary traders?  And what was the common mistakes had you ever experienced and how could you manage this problem and mistakes?

Can you share your thoughts and experiences about tradings.

Thank you in advance.
One of the most common mistakes among traders is to be too greedy, they made a good trade and instead of taking their profits and look for another trade, they think that the market is going to keep going up indefinitely and that is simply impossible, then when the price begins to go down they refuse to sell thinking that the price is going to go up once again, and even in some cases they lose money with a trade that should have gave to them good profits, so the lesson here is to grab your profits whenever you have the opportunity to do so.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin a Good Investment for Today? on: May 06, 2018, 10:53:10 PM
"Should I invest in Dogecoin CryptoCurrency?" "Should I buy DOGE today?" According to my System Estimation, DOGE is a great long-term investment *. Dogecoin prediction is updated every 3 minutes with the latest rates by intelligent technical analysis. If you're looking for a virtual currency with good returns, DOGE can be a lucrative investment option.because last year's experience towards the end of the year the price of doge had a fantastic rise.

Coin Price $ 0.004886

let's discuss whether today is a good day for dogecoin investment?
You can earn money with dogecoin and if you feel comfortable investing in that coin then that's fine, but there are in my opinion too many other good projects that are better investment for the short term and there are better investment for the long term, however one thing that dogecoin has is that it has very cheap and fast transactions, so if you can find someone that accepts dogecoin you can use it and get a confirmation way faster than with other coins.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: May 06, 2018, 10:12:17 PM
https://www.ccn.com/chinese-angel-investor-gathers-10000-bitcoins-during-bear-q1-2018/
There was one Chinese investor who is now trending after he bought 10k bitcoin during the Q1 bear or during the bearish movement at the first quarter of the year. According to the article he was Cai Wensheng the founder of a selfie-app called Meitu which is very popular in China. This man is a good sign that bitcoin really is becoming more attractive to big enterpreneurs across the globe.
Not much to say except that he did an incredible business, he got those coins for a very good price and since he invested such a huge amount of money it is very likely that he has all the confidence in the world that he can hold his coins for the long term and probably become a relevant figure in the future when the price of bitcoin skyrockets.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized coins on: May 06, 2018, 09:42:35 PM
Do you think there is a room for centralized coins such as Ripple win over Bitcoin and Ethereum ? What is the good part about centralized coins against the decentralized ones ?
Centralized coins have some advantages over decentralized solutions, however if I wanted to use a centralized solution I will use a coin created by a government instead of a private company, this is what makes cryptocurrencies like bitcoin attractive, since there is no one that can talk for all the community, the miners or the developers, the decentralization protects the project from becoming something different than its original mission.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current steady growth will result in $20K by end of August? on: May 06, 2018, 09:37:15 PM
Last 3 weeks growth has been slow, steady and strong amongst slight price fall now and then. Experts said the price would grow back by end of April and yes it happened. So will bitcoin price hit $20K by August 2018? I am sure yes if this current growth trend remains as it is.

What are your thoughts?
That is a very big if, if the trend were to maintain itself it is possible that you are right but if there is something that defines bitcoin is its volatility and unpredictability, so I'm not so sure that we're going to see such a huge price by that time in fact I am not sure that we are going to see that price by the end of this year, and my reasoning is very simple there needs to be a huge hype to reach that price and right now I do not see it.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in BTC, Altcoin, or ICO on: May 05, 2018, 03:27:59 AM
There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth
It is not safe to invest in icos, in fact it is not safe to invest in any cryptocurrency, that does not mean that you cannot get profits with it what I mean is that you must accept the fact that any investment that you make is going to be very risky, if you're not willing to assume and deal with the risk then it is better that you do not invest in this market, but if you have decided that you are willing to take the chances then now you need to define what level of risk you are willing to accept, with bitcoin being the lowest risk, altcoins being in the middle and icos as the most risky investment.
852  Economy / Speculation / Re: we're pumpin right now on: May 05, 2018, 03:15:56 AM
Just hit $9700. Up >6% last 24 hours. Will we see $10k in the next 24 hours?
We are now just 200 short of reaching 10000, it is going to be very interesting what happens when we reach that price, I'm very sure that there are a significant number of sell orders set at that price so it's possible we are not going to see that price for a long, but it will be a small signal that bitcoin is making a small comeback and that is important after the very difficult start that we got in this year.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on coin under $30 on: May 05, 2018, 02:57:51 AM
I am looking to sell 1000 xlm, currently own 3000. I wanted to buy NEO but it will give me about 4 coins of neo. So I was thinking of going after something less pricey to get more of it. Only looking to invest into 1 coin here. Was looking at the following...

- Waves, EOS, ICX, IOTA...own some of all already
- GAS
- Steen

Tia

Of all the coins that you are watching closely the one that I like the most is waves, I think it is a very good project that has a chance to go even higher in the near future, but if you really want to make huge profits maybe should look for coins that have a smaller market cap because even the smallest coin in which you want to invest has hundreds of millions of dollars invested in it already.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 3 cryptocurrencies to invest in for May 2018 on: May 05, 2018, 02:46:43 AM
I will nit touch any of them especially EOS, do you think EOS has more legs to run after the recent bull run. there are some projects in the space that are very good and undervalued because the market have not really they are not listed on strong exchange when they do they will give huge return on investment that most of these over priced projects
Exactly, those are not bad projects, but those coins already pumped, congratulations if you bought at the ico price but for everyone else those are not very good options to earn money in the short term, if anything those coins are candidates to be long term holds and nothing more, but if I want a coin to hold for a long term then I'll just choose bitcoin.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: May 05, 2018, 02:35:36 AM
Hi, I would love to hear your input on this.

As I see it, we need crypto wallets installed on every phone possible to ensure the readiness of everyday payment with crypto assets. Once customers are ready to pay, the stores will follow.

At least three things needs to happen:

1) Adoption of crypto wallets needs to increase (preferable with pre-funded assets)
2) Each wallet provider needs to agree on a standard protocol for payment (Maybe Payment Request API (W3))?
3) Store owners need a merchant app to receive payment with further integration into multiple accounting systems.

Have you seen anyone doing this?
Do we need a wallet alliance that can stipulate a standard?
What else needs to happen besides regulation?

Best crypto greetings,
Vindberg

Those are not bad ideas but I do not think it's going to work for several reasons, first of all you want cryptocurrency wallets installed in every single phone, but if my phone came with an application like that and I didn't use cryptocurrencies I'll just uninstall it, second we do not need adoption of crypto wallets we need adoption of cryptocurrencies, if I am not holding cryptocurrency I do not need a wallet, and for your second and third point I do not think that is really necessary.

857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep these things in mind when you are into crypto world on: May 01, 2018, 11:22:15 PM
That was a very nice education and alert you have given. We all have a lot to still learn here on crypto. People are scammed on countless occasions so we all have to be vigilant

Exactly he give us good hints and educated us in crypto world, it is necessary because now mostly new generation are very conscious in crypto currencies by earning. Then other people who are scammer they are ready to hacking our coins, that's why we must be careful about it.

Many new comers are entering in this field of digital currency without proper knowledge and the scammers are exploiting this situation and they are making news plans to deceive these innocent people and get hold of their btc. I think before entering to the bitcoin field , one should have complete knowledge of how bitcoin wallet operates and how to avoid being investing in scam sites  or scam coins etc
The problem is those people enter the market of cryptocurrencies with wrong ideas, they do not take the time to learn about the possible scams and how to avoid them, they want to earn money as fast as possible not understanding that the fastest method is the slowest one, which is to learn as much about the market as possible, to read as many whitepapers as you can, to read the forum and finally when you find a good project invest in it.
858  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: May 01, 2018, 11:17:08 PM
Of course, it's worth it if you've done your research properly before you bought your altcoins and then they started exploding in the market. You will feel that great feeling that you have waited for long and it's starting to pay off.
While that is true, how many people actually take the time to research the coin before they invest in it? Very few, even if that doesn't make any sense many investors most of the time they do not research the coin in which they are investing, they'll only look at the charts and they do not look at the fact that maybe that coin was created by some developers that no one knows and that the roadmap does not make much sense and then when the price goes down they do not understand why that happened.
859  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin volatility prevent adoption? on: May 01, 2018, 11:11:36 PM
The volatility of bitcoin is in a way preventing adoption, many people do not want to put their money in bitcoin just to realize that a day later its value in fiat has gone down, I remember that the very first time that I bought bitcoin that happened to me and I was nervous because I actually bought that bitcoin to use it as a currency so I needed to wait a few days for the price to recover before I could use it.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: May 01, 2018, 11:04:04 PM
Some of them are very bad, some of them have no even team or good web, I cannot imagine if there is someone who is investing in such projects, they are obvious scams, but on the other hand there are a lot of good ideas, for example Ambit Mining is live now, and it is very promising.
What happens is that people do not see the risks because they want to earn money no matter what, there are many people that do not care if a project is a scam as long as they earn money with it, that is a huge mistake but there are a lot of people that think like that in the forum which is a shame, this is why those projects keep surviving because people keep investing in them.
