842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Governments Kill Bitcoin? on: March 10, 2018, 01:35:52 PM
In no way,the governments could replace bitcoin with their own crypto currencies as the investors would not be willing to support such centralised coins which would never increase in price like bitcoin and which would not allow anyone to stay anonymous.Governments could only regulate bitcoin and all the world countries have started to realise it.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to promote an ICO on Facebook? on: February 28, 2018, 12:34:24 PM
I think that you are too late as facebook management has already announced that it would ban all the ads and posts related to crypto coins in order to avoid its users being scammed by scam project promoters.

So instead you could use twitter and other social media websites for promoting ICO.

The impact would not y could be as much like advertising in facebook but a small percentage of publicity could be expected.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any ways to avoid non paying bounty campaigns? on: February 28, 2018, 12:24:53 PM
That's really a  thing to find out.If anyone know it before tthat which would pay promptly, then almost 90% of bitcoin members would just join bounty campaigns as their payments are very high when compared to signature campaign. We could just try to join in bounties which were carried out by institutional companies as they would be well established in the market and they would not be willing to spoil their reputation by not paying the participants.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs Bitcoincash on: February 28, 2018, 11:57:27 AM
I have some ETH in my wallet. And Currently, BCH is trading at $1200 while ETH is at $900. What is the future of BCH as its ATH was $3400.
Is it a good idea to convert few ETH to BCH?
Don't ever do that foolish act.Ethereum is the second oldest coin next to bitcoin. It has good reputation. Its not a forked coin.It provides a platform for most of the altcoins tokens getting launched. So,it has a huge demand.

But bitcoincash is just a shitcoin. Its just a forked coin from bitcoin and that's the only reason for it having such a huge marketcap. Its supported and pumped by roger ver otherwise it would have been trashed by this time.

So,just avoid investing in it.
846  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Received an email Bittrex, Inc. Terms of Service on: February 28, 2018, 11:50:42 AM
Its a general way of implementing KYC to know the customer details using their service. As we all know that Bittrex is an US based exchange and they would have to follow the US laws to continue their business.Otherwise, they would have to face legal actions from the US authorities.

I actually started using Bittrex ad poloniex exchanges before two years.I could remember tose days where i need just an email to start an account in their exchanges. No more questions even if i belong to another country.

But now, time has changed and we have no other option than to follow their rules.
847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: February 28, 2018, 11:43:55 AM
Yes i too buy during the price drops. But most of the newbies would be totally doing the opposite by selling their coins in panic while price drops. But those who follow the rule of warren buffet to buy when every one sells would be doing a wise investment.

Most of the early investors quietly buy as much coins as they could during price drops without complaining and by doing this way, they accumulate huge volume of coins.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if USA and China made bitcoin legal tomorrow? on: February 27, 2018, 11:58:50 PM
What if you woke up tomorrow to realize USA and China decided to make bitcoin legal, what would have been your emotions, and what price would bitcoin attain within the next 1 week?

EDITED
Apologies, i was rather referring to ICOs but not bitcoin. Apologies once more.
That would definitely be a big breakthrough in the ICO industry.Lots of companies related to ICO would once again shift their attention towards these two countries.

As we know that mostly bitcoins are preferred to raise the required funds via ICO,there would be a huge increase in demand for bitcoins which would increase its price.

849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Miners vs Traders on: February 27, 2018, 11:58:02 PM
Do bitcoin Miners  Profit more than traders .What do you all think?

and also Out of both who can make income out of bitcoin?   Smiley

Both make good income. But the miners income is limited as per their investment to buy ASIC miners. Also, for each mier they could only do sertain number of transactions to get confirmed. So their profit is limited.

But traders have unlimited access. They could make huge profit by trading. They could change their strategies as per the market situations and make enough profits.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the reason of the bitcoin fees drop these days? on: February 27, 2018, 11:57:10 PM
I don't believe that this time i saw that the fee drop to 20 sat per byte. I thought that its bug but i tried to test sending few bitcoin few hours ago and my fee is too low, I paid almost 18sat/byte check my transaction here
https://blockchain.info/tx/224f6d675f2062319daf896537bad6519eedaf26ab2e4b0b0f62453408b7a103
And my transaction was confirm in few minutes i think 15 minutes or around 30 minutes.

What do you think could be the reason is it because of lightning network or it is because of low transaction traffic?
Or there are lots of people are mining bitcoin?
Well everyone today starting to implement segwit address has made transaction fee drop.Number of people mining bitcoins have not increased considerably and so that might not be a reason.

Also, spam attacks by miners influenced by roger ver have almost stopped which were previously responsible for huge network congestion and high transaction fee.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [News] Feeling uncomfortable, but we should know it on: February 26, 2018, 05:42:05 PM
Hi all,

Fortune has just reported that nearly half of ICOs in 2017 have died.
Bitcoin.com informed that 142 failed before raising funding, and another 276 failed after fundraising.
It is a 46% failure rate.

Therefore, we should analyse them cautiously rather than believing others' posts too much without any proof.
Finding promising ICOs is not easy, but will let you be a millionaire with efforts.

Have a lovely day Smiley

http://fortune.com/2018/02/25/cryptocurrency-ico-collapse/
Most of the ICOs fail today. So to minimize the risks,we should try to invest in ICOs launched by institutional companies as they already have steady base in the market and so the chances of their projects getting failed is very less. Also,we must take care to invest in ICOs of companies related to blockchain technology as five of the most successful ICOs in the history were related to bitcoin technology.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bought lots of coins before knowing what they do... what do i do now? on: February 26, 2018, 05:34:03 PM
Hi all! when i just got into crypto, it was december and i was a noob.. i made the mistake of buying lots of coins as per my friend's recommendation and i put my entire life savings in.. as per my friends' recommendation too. it turns out he was a really bad friend and gave me all the wrong advice to watch me crash and burn.. now my profile is more red than ever. Since then, i have focused all my free time on trying to learn and share what i have learnt with the community. right now, i m pretty much stuck with a -80% portfolio.. What do i do??? =( while i have made progress in my knowledge in crpyto, my portfolio is set in stone.... and getting more and more red as the days go by
Not all the coins what you have bought would go continuously down. So,just be patient and wait and see the price movements.May be some of the coins which you have bought may go high in price which would compensate the loss got from other coins.Once you get good profit, just sell those coins and invest in bitcoin which mostly does not disappoint its investors.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple XRP support on: February 26, 2018, 07:40:17 AM
For what it's worth, I've been a long time follower and HODLer of Ripple.  I consider myself a seasoned practitioner of technical analysis, and have years and years of experience actively trading in securities.  It's just my opinion of course, but I really think this is a good entry point for XRP.  I don't think we are going to see any retracement of support held back on the 24th, in fact this may be the beginning of a turnaround for XRP...I know its been a rough couple of weeks.

Do your own DD of course, and I am by no means a qualified financial advisor...just a newbie to the crypto realm, trying to help others secure a foundation in this market.

Feel free to add your two cents and start a discussion on the topic, I always love hearing what people have to say about XRP.  Q2 should be interesting...
Wink

Good luck out there everyone 👍
Ripple is just a centralised coin which is almost used by most banks all over the world for inter transactions due to which it's market cap has increased this much high.In my opinion, its price would not increase much high in future and so it would not fit to be called as a good investment.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why don't ICOs accept fiat? on: February 26, 2018, 07:27:11 AM
ICO launchers find it much easier and hassle free to collect the required funds in cryptos.Even the scam project owners find it easier to run with the collected cryptos if the project fails to raise the required funds without leaving any traces for government sectors.
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to get fiat from crypto? on: February 25, 2018, 04:28:06 PM
Hi guys, I did some investment in crypto from long time but, never sell it for fiat or don't have any master or Visa card to spent my crypto. So any suggestions what is the best method to get some fiat currency for crypto and any recommend card to spend and how can I get it. I live in UK. Thanks.
I think that the best and easiest way to convert crypos especially bitcoin in to fiat is to use localbitcoins.com.Its available in 249 countries. So,you could try that.Different offers are given by traders to chose. You could either receive it by cash or could receive in your bank account.

857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your bitcoins within a month or two on: March 19, 2017, 06:46:14 PM
Surely,it will drop to around $800.But,it would be temporary.Very soon, bitcoin would recover. Its a good opportunity to buy more bitcoins for those who thought they were late to bitcoins.Big whales wont miss this opportunity. They would just spread such messages to create panic.Bitcoiners who were from the beginning will not take these seriously.

i think the bottom is reached, it will not drop at $800 or lower man, the price look solid to me and i'm buying more, if you wait more there are chance that the value would increase again and you would be stuck with a low price point

That's right price will not fall to that level now and I think 1000 will be the base price so if you are looking ot buy bitcoins then buy it now as price can rise in next couple of months and this definitely not a good time to sell your bitcoins.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now That Bitcoin Is Under $1000 Again.. on: March 19, 2017, 06:42:38 PM
Today the price of bitcoin has crossed $1000 level again and it will keep on moving up and down in coming days too and I don't think there is any thing to worry at all as this fluctuations will always be a part of bitcoin journey and it will recover the price pretty soon.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: March 19, 2017, 06:39:06 PM
I'm currently selling it and investing in ETH now. Btc will go down more but for short time.

Well it is just for few days again you will see the price going much higher than what it is. so don't lose hope just keep patience for some days for sure the price will pitch up again, day by day more people are joining btc and it is becoming more popular and without any doubt we can say the benefit from the btc will be much better. Am not going to sell the btc at any cost now. even if i plan to then i will sell after 2 months.

Agree with you. but it is not sure what  will happen tomorrow and what if the value goes much lesser than what it  is today. Again you have to wait.
so it up to the personal decision what they do with.

Its really hard to predict what will happen tomorrow either price will increase or decreased and in that case you need to follow your instincts and take decision accordingly as different people have different opinions and goals and if you are comfortable in selling then you can go for it.
860  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 19, 2017, 06:36:50 PM
bitcoin certainly would be very beneficial if you store it in the very long run. Imagine if you save 100 BTC in 2013 until today. Well, chances are you will become rich without doing anything. so, save bitcoin in the long term it is very profitable.

Time once gone will never come back so instead of thinking about the past we should concentrate on collecting as many bitcoins as possible as after the time period of 5 to 6 years the price of bitcoins will be really high so we can sell them at that time which can make us super rich.
