I would also add, before ICOs were invented, the number of startups actually ending up doing something disruptive or "making it" were very slim.
Now with ICOs is the same, even if they are using a promising new technology like blockchain, so don't be fooled.

Expose one big scam first to earn trust.
Exactly, you need to build up your reputation if you run a website like that. Nevertheless it could be very useful to catch scams early on, since most of them get cough when is too late. There are so many "projects" announced everyday, perhaps you could concentrate in those making too bold statements or having particular appealing bounties. Or simply those which collect a lot comment and views on their thread, for one reason or another. |

From what you say, I think I misunderstood how local merit sources work. I thought they were limited to give a certain amount of merits in that specific local board. Isnt that the case? If it isnt, I think I made mistake when I applied to be a merit source, I should have applied to be a local merit source. I didnt because I spent much more time on the English section than on the Spanish one, although I visit the Spanish one regularly.
I don't think there is any particular restriction or rules about it, as long as your 'job' as a merit source is consistent with the reason of of you gave in the application. |

Any chance you could add a new column to the UserData table to also add the activity of the user? Not to mention other metrics like post count, registered date or last active. This would be extremely helpful to collect and compound loads of interesting metrics. i have all the data already but i decided to put just userid name and rank mainly to keep the the database small and not having problem space wise uploading it in github. https://help.github.com/articles/working-with-large-files/I'll try to see how much would increase by adding all the other information and if it's too much i can give out the information in some other way |

Thanks a lot Piggy! I see a lot of users have the rank of Copper Member or other special membership listed in the User data. Any chance this could be updated to the "real" rank (aka Hero, Legendary) etc. I'm curious how/where you're getting this data, maybe I could help on this part. as soon as i have time to re-run the all thing i'll be correcting that as well indeed, is something i saw as well and actually forgot to fix. |

Has anybody in here tried to build something/experimenting with the engine of Decentraland, or is planning to? I see they are releasing quite a lot of video materials and documentations to learn how to build scenes.
