841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience for new and old gambler? on: September 18, 2023, 02:12:43 PM
whose addiction will be harder to break?
The evolution of gambling from time to time has seen significant growth and drastic development, people are getting easier to gamble day by day, All of this cannot be separated from the genius possessed by humans themselves and the technology that is developing rapidly at this time.

I've seen several of my friends who are addicted, even though I see them often playing online gambling, crypto and so on, but they can't forget about physical gambling, he still bets physically even though he also uses it online to gamble. For me, even though the world of gambling is experiencing changes and various kinds of gambling evolutions, for me physical gambling cannot be eliminated.
842  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has AI affected your job? Positively or negatively? on: September 17, 2023, 03:10:19 PM
We are enjoying the ease that comes with doing things using AI at the snap of our fingertips but I fear that over dependent on it might have serious effects on society, in the years to come.
AI, or commonly known by the public, is an artificial intelligence tool/feature, which is often used for problem solving, learning or thinking patterns for humans, for me (AI) is a tool that was created to fool humanity, now many of us no longer put our minds to doing things, whether in terms of economics, way of thinking and so on, AI will answer everything for humans.

You can imagine students now and in the past from the 70s to 80s, students that year did mathematics, counting and multiplying, adding, dividing and so on, they could memorize it by heart, but look at today's students with AI, they can't memorize it all, they have to use calculators or AI, will that create an intelligent generation, Actually, it's not the students who are smart, but Al himself. According to my understanding, Al is a generation that creates stupidity for students in the future.

The economy will be destroyed when the next generation of children will only rely on Al, they will not have intellectual thoughts in developing the economy in the future, they will only rely on Al as a method of thinking.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 17, 2023, 02:41:13 PM
So I was asking myself different questions because I have no wife and no child, then I began to think and be questioning myself if it will be good to at least tell one person in my family my seed phrase or should I keep having the perso secret of my seed phrase personal or should I keep my bitcoin document on my wardrobe were they can easily see my seed phrase, that time I was of full of thinking, thank God  I recover fully from the illness before i return to forum...no sympathy
What about your mother or father, do you still have both or vice versa, according to my understanding there are no children who do not trust their parents, As far as I know, if you don't have a wife or children, the assets you own are completely owned by your parents, not your brothers or sisters.

Another solution, when you are sick, is someone who faithfully accompanies you when you are sick, who cares for and looks after you when you are sick, so tell him about your Bitcoin seeds or assets, For me, loyalty or those who can be trusted, those who sincerely care for us and take care of us in times of illness, are the ones who have the right to receive the Bitcoin that you have, as well as the problem of being able to access your Bitcoin wallet.

The question is who is looking after you during this time, when you are sick, your parents or someone else, in conclusion give them access to your Bitcoin seed.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you manage your money on gambling sites. on: September 17, 2023, 02:00:11 PM
I always withdraw all my winnings and only deposit the right amount i want to use to gamble whenever i want to play a game. I’d like to know everyone’s opinion on which way is better and which one do you practice in managing your funds on gambling sites.
If you ask about gambling money management, I am 90% sure what you do, as you said above, they agree, including me doing the same thing, withdraw the money leaving the rest to re-bet, tomorrow, today, another week and so on, that's a good decision.

The gambling industry that we know and play today is mostly online, so you have to really understand the nature of the internet or online, sometimes it's easy to access, sometimes it's difficult to access, remember online gambling is fully controlled by the gambling industry team/operator, so never leave money for a long time in a casino, if you do that it's a stupid act, if they know well about online casinos.

The point is: whatever you do at an online casino, try to be careful in managing your finances, leave it in your account just for re-betting, the rest goes into your pocket, that way you sleep soundly.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 17, 2023, 01:40:21 PM
So, question to you, did you ever consider paying taxes on your gambling winnings, or deduct the taxes with the losses you've created? If not, what is the reasoning behind it?
Never mind paying taxes, just gambling winnings, there is no intention to inform the public, let alone the tax authorities, Basically online gambling in my area is mostly illegal, but even though gambling is illegal we are still safe and we can go in to gamble, you could say it is illegal but legal, This means that online gambling secretly pays taxes to the authorities, but not from users, only from the online gambling industry.

We gamble without having to pay anything to the state/taxes, even if we win large amounts, users are free to take their winnings and it's up to them, wherever they take the gambling money, they are free without any collection.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 16, 2023, 02:19:07 PM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...
My understanding is that economics determines the survival and life of mankind in this universe, the economy plays a major role in all sectors and if the global economy worsens, automatically all sectors and elements are paralyzed, including the Bitcoin market and Bitcoin trading.

For me, Bitcoin is also an economy, in digital/internet form, even though its original name is called crypto and so on, the point is: Bitcoin is an economy, so the global economy is bad and the impact on Bitcoin is also bad, It could be that the price of Bitcoin in the market is not the same price as it is now, another reason many of them don't think about digital money anymore, because they prioritize real life.
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 16, 2023, 01:54:17 PM
Australia is looking to ban credit card usage in online gambling. The reason they give is that Australia loses 25 billion dollars only in gambling in a year. That is a big amount indeed.
If I read correctly, the reason Australia prohibits its people from gambling using credit cards and if the two government reasons are as mentioned.

Quote
“It’s as simple as this: People should not be betting with money they do not have,” she said.

Quote
“The Australian government remains committed to protecting Australians from gambling harms.”

For me, it is normal for the government to implement a bill prohibiting gambling using credit cards, because they know the risk of harm that arises for Australian society in general.

Regarding the Australian government's actions and regulations on gambling, in my opinion it is a good step, because with a credit card in hand, people enthusiastically use all the balance on their credit card, without considering the monthly risk they have to deposit intothe bank.

However, Australians can still gamble online using other methods, apart from credit cards and digital currency, such as: Transfez, Flip, Western Union and so on.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 15, 2023, 03:20:26 PM
Looking to get some real-world feedback on trading bots, the pros, the cons and the most important question... do they work?

So please, only comment below if you're actively using trading bots and how successful they are.
As far as I know, there are many ways that everyone involved in the crypto market wants to trade, one of which is trading bots or often called trading robots, in fact the bot method has advantages and disadvantages in the trading bot method.

I have done the trading bot feature, but the results I did were much better with the spot, margin and futures methods, but of the three features the one that was more profitable for me was spot, the first comparison of trading bots: The bot feature is more expensive than spot, and in my opinion bots are not suitable for use in the crypto market, because as far as I know the crypto market moves fluctuatingly, where crypto price changes from the upward and downward side are based on graphical movements, bots do not work well and if users use trading bots they must have skills and be professional, especially for beginners, this is very risky.

For this reason, trading bots are not as easy as we imagine, there are frequencies that must be understood before doing it to achieve maximum results, otherwise it will bring losses to those who use the bot feature.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: I wonder if food prices in your country have also increased? on: September 15, 2023, 02:30:18 PM
But I was wondering if this only happened in my country or in your country too?
Maybe if you look at international news, the disasters felt by the people in each country vary, from an economic perspective, drought, floods and so on, However, in general, Indonesia is currently experiencing a crisis ranging from crop failure, drought, rising basic commodities and so on.

But it's different from what happened to the Middle East, Europe, etc., it seems that if we examine it from the food side, it probably almost has an impact on basic needs, the economy is in disarray, I hope that in the future the economy can improve, especially Asia.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has your Responsible Gambling had any of these Effects on You? on: September 14, 2023, 03:42:45 PM
Has your responsible gambling habit had any positive effects on your relationships with your spouse, kids, parents, and others?
I don't think there is a positive impact, quite the opposite, but personally my habit of gambling is unknown to my family and I am responsible for what I do, For me, the people you mentioned above don't need to know, we still do it professionally, whether at home or when gambling.

Quote
Has it improved your finances and helped you stay out of debt?
No, the purpose of gambling is not to cover debts, the money wagered is only side money, even if you win the money is used for other things, such as: going to tourist attractions, the money is spent for fun.

Quote
Has it improved your mental health and well being in anyway?
We gamble has rules, health has no influence, health and well-being are not from gambling, there are other factors besides gambling.

Quote
Has it been able to help you meet an urgent need?
As I said in the second point, there is something else to cover all that.

What I said above, that's just for me personally, I don't know other people's ways, they have their own principles.
851  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Heartwarming as Binance donates $3 Million in BNB to it's users in Morocco on: September 14, 2023, 03:06:45 PM
It is exciting to receive this humanitarian assistance from Binance, which provided $3,000,000 in BNB to its users who were affected by the unfortunate 'Morocco earthquake' tragedy.
I am also concerned and saddened by the disaster that befell our brothers and sisters in Morocco at this time. I hope that they will be given fortitude and patience in facing the disaster that is happening right now.

Binance has made a noble humanitarian donation at this time, assistance from the CEO of Binance CZ, can ease the burden on those in need at this time, I hope that with sincerity and assistance from Binance, and can open the hearts and minds of other exchange CEOs who are around the world today by helping those who are currently in need.

Libya, Morocco, in 2023 the worst and most devastating disaster I have ever seen in my life, almost 20 thousand people died in Libya, this is the worst disaster, I hope that aid continues to flow and is distributed well to those affected by the disaster.
852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet365 Bot on: September 14, 2023, 02:30:41 PM
I Run a value betting Bot for bet365 that bets automatically.
Indeed, the main function of bots in betting is to help gambling users, especially those who place repetitive bets, but aren't the betting bots that we often see just automatic software or something that is often called a network, as in general we often see things like: crawler bots, chatbots or telegrambots and so on.

What is meant by PM, do you want to share news or articles for users who want to place bets on online games, do you want to provide bot instructions for those who follow them, independent bot to other users, but you need to remember, your bot does not guarantee that users can win 100% bets in every game, what you want to do is not much different from those who offer bots via Telegram, for me it doesn't help at all.

If you have a bot that is 100% accurate, why don't you place bets for yourself? Isn't that money more prosperous for you than the bot you have? I don't think anyone here is bored with money.
853  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market likely over? on: September 14, 2023, 01:59:48 PM
What do you all think about the sudden bounce back and price increase on Bitcoin of lately?
Indeed, currently there is a lot of speculation circulating on the internet, there are hundreds of people currently discussing the development of Bitcoin and the crypto market now and in the future, but whatever we have seen and learned back to ourselves to determine good steps in the future.

We are aware that several things that have happened in the crypto market every four years should be a lesson for crypto users about what happened and what to do, of course, but we always see those who fail and regret it after it happens, for that reason I think right now we are thinking about the best for ourselves in the direction of our respective successes, I hope that in the future there will be more people who are successful in the crypto world.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: September 13, 2023, 04:23:00 PM
I would be very grateful for your help and maybe there will be someone here with whom I can exchange football tips.
It's hard to say and tell you to bet and choose a good football bookie for you.
here almost the average gambling site offers soccer betting well and responsibly, at least you can visit here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0

Therefore, gambling is risky. I play on certain sites well but not necessarily with you feeling the way I feel, for that reason, if you gamble without cheating and don't blame the bookie's sports betting rules, I think you will be rewarded with a winwhat you get.

I hope you can choose for yourself which is good for you, to make your sports bets, without being caused by other people, I think it's better if you understand it.
855  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: catex.io & dex-trade.com on: September 13, 2023, 03:59:00 PM
Trust Pilot Catex.io - 2.3/5 STAR REVIEW
@PX-Z, have told you about the catex.io website and other members have warned you, but in other places I also found about catex.io which is unfriendly and off the mark.
Example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5244363.0, That's a sign that it's not good to use, their team hasn't been active here for a long time.

Trust Pilot - Dex-Trade - 2.8/5 STAR REVIEW
As well as the Dex-trade.com exchange, @Little Mouse once asked about the website, for example: Dex-trade.com review needed, However, the results of the discussion still yielded no common ground, aka zero.

So from the two data above, for me these two exchange websites are not good and not good for carrying out exchange activities there, consider carefully if you want to use them and be careful.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: September 13, 2023, 03:34:06 PM
Did that last minute bet make you win or you lost more and regretted the decision?
Good question, I once placed a bet at the last minute, maybe I often do that when I feel confident that the team I want to bet on can win, I often do that in soccer betting.

To be honest, I like to place bets at the last minute and this has made me lucky several times. You could say that winning often happens at the end of a drawn match, for example: 1-1 or 3-3, as happened in Argentina vs. France with a result of 3-3 and at the end of the match a penalty and my bet was placed for Argentina, the match finished with a result of 4-2/penalty and I have placed many other team bets with brilliant results.

Bottom line: placing a bet at the end makes me nervous, but it's fun to bet on.
857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not going to $12k. on: September 13, 2023, 03:03:28 PM
Personally, I also don't believe bitcoin will drop below $15k. And I think we have a chance to buy cheap and don't miss it.
Speculation can be right and it can be wrong, but speculation is a role model for many people to determine market direction, I agree $12k seems difficult at the moment, I just think Bitcoin's lowest price will be around $20k-$25k, of course we've seen $25k, maybe we'll see $20k in the future, but that's 50/50 in my opinion.

But whatever happens I hope now it's a good decision to own some Bitcoins and in the future I hope that among the various speculations I know, there will be good results.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Features on any Banking or Financial apps should be Removed on: September 12, 2023, 03:53:07 PM
The above image is the UX for a mobile baking app in my country.
I tried to check several of my banking applications or money transfer applications that are legally valid, it seems I didn't find a feature like "Betting" It seems like it is only displayed and made in certain countries such as Nigeria or other neighboring countries.

Maybe for illegal gambling countries, I think the betting feature is not allowed or prohibited by banking authorities, I think the authorities in Nigeria are collaborating with gambling, The proof is that they put a gambling betting feature in the banking application. Of course, if you don't want that feature to appear in the banking application, You and the people there must make a proposal to the relevant parties regarding this issue so that it can be removed from the application, even though it is difficult to do, Maybe you should try first, to complain to the banking authority responsible in your area, if it bothers you.
859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If they have the ability why would they sell? on: September 12, 2023, 03:19:16 PM
After I read the contents of your thread and the quote below this is what I want to say.

My common sense is asking me why will they create such group if they know how to be pro traders already? Like why can't they keep this to themselves and keep making their money? Why are they trying to help and getting subscribers in return? Just my own common sense like I've said. What do you have to tell me?

Point, you have a healthy mind, if the quote above is always in your mind, that's a genius and professional mind.

When I first got to know and dive into the world of crypto trading, I joined several trading groups, but in the end I realized that it was all just empty talk, they never do it right and they ask to transfer some BTC for them to trade and the profit is divided by two, then I think this is not right, that's their loophole to cheat, that's when I decided to delete all groups in the name of professional trading and so on, OP, be careful with such ridiculous groups who call themselves professional trading, tell them to check themselves first if they want to cheat.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots with the purchase of bonus games - is it good or bad? on: September 12, 2023, 02:48:18 PM
How do you feel about slots with purchasable bonuses? Would you like to do everything as it was before, without buying bonuses?
Overall and generally done by many people, slot games are one of the games that many gamblers like and love the most. It could be said that the average gambler doesn't feel like gambling is complete if they don't visit slots, but the difference, as you said, is the choice of each player in the method of buying bonuses or playing for real, manually or automatically.

So slots using the bonus buying method, for me personally is a method that I often do, even though the bonus purchased is bigger than the one generated at the end of the round, but that's not a problem for me, Sometimes there are also things that make me happy when luck is on my side, even though I only buy once, what makes me happy the most is the spin bonus, Sometimes I have produced 2 spin rounds in one bonus purchase, that makes me luckier than playing manually or automatically, in terms of purchasing the bonus spins that I am aiming for to produce a good win.
