Yeah optiminer have boost.
Also you can enter whatever you like in claymore settings.

no my mb is a asus m5a927 I do have Asrock Pro BTC but collecting the gear now to get that one up and running

tytanick - will you integrate your "ressetting rig" device in here soon? thanks
once i will be selling and sending then yes - i will integrate this Smiley

Yes nice job with the newest update keeps getting better now if open source would catch up on zcash miners
yes, also new kernels give some better speed but i need to make beta testing group to test newest kernel (its still unstable state)

I'm impressed/intrigued by the fact that you manage to set variables like clock speed and tt with gpu-pro drivers. I was under the impression this was only possible on older catalyst drivers. No aticonfig for gpu-pro?
Yeah there isnt such tool for amdgpu - i had to write it myself thats why is to unperfect Tongue
Also my destination is to have ability to set specific clocks and memory for amdgpu driver, not dpm states
after shutting down my rig because I have r9 270,280,290 all running off a 860w psu I put the 290 on a 600w psu by itself untill my bigger psu gets here than Im adding a r9 380 but now when it starts I get nonces running in parallel 6 device 1 why am I seeing this now or what does it mean. I also have one more question I tried to mine etc on ethermine with claymore 7.4 but it wouldn't let me can we mine etc or no. Thanks You good work

The guys from silentarmy V5 are finishing up fixing and optimizing the code check it out maybe you could put that in. It sucks claymore not doing linux zcash miner paying the small 2% fee is not bad he keeps on top of his miners fixes bugs, and has a lot of features other miners don't have I don't mind paying a dev fee but lets face it 10% that optiminer is charging is insane and left his miner open for ppl to find a way around it   between his 10% and the 20% zcash is taking well do the math again the little miner getting shit on I thought the whole idea of crypto currency was for decentralization well BTC and every other coin is controlled by the ppl with the most money so nothing is decentralized. Sorry just venting

Time to sell them / change to zec on decond email Tongue
being there's a lot of ppl with 2gb gpus when you get time could you look into adding sgminer-gm with monero support Thank You

I also just started running your software and think its easy to setup and my rig seems pretty stable, this is going to sound dumb but found your software after I burnt out my hard drive kinda glad I did, I also tried pimp and was having problems so great job with simplemining. Anyway I also have 290s mixed with 280s and 270s is there anyway we can set separate clocks like 1050,1100,1075 etc and the last question is there anyway to add wolfos sgminer-gm with eth and xmr support I just like options and was having good rates with eth sgminer and wanted to run xmr sgminer but there was no windows release if you have time to check it out https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0 outside of that Thank You

Raspberry pi models b+ has 512mb ram, ROKOS supports IoT devices with more than 1Gb ram,
I would recommend:

a) upgrade and get a Pi 2 at least.
b) wait for the ROKOS lite Release (headless version for pi zero and old pi models)

also feel free to join http://discord.me/cryptocurrency for support/feedback and latest updates. Kind Regards
K that's what I figured plus it's slow as a turtle I'll order one again Thanks

c) System ready for use.

Extra info command to auto-sync the OKCash chain in minutes:

a) Open terminal.
b) type:         ./ok-sync-arm64.sh           (this will download and unzip the latest ok-blockchain snapshot to the okcash datafolder for Pine64+ devices)
c) start your wallet after the process is done and give it some minutes.
d) your OK wallet is ready to be used.

Done, enjoy your ROKOS v7

*BananaPi PRO:    (v7 update coming up)

*Raspberry Pi:    (v7 update coming up)

Welcome to the ROKOS Desktop

Final steps / BTC and OK Clients

a) Go to Menu > Blockchain and Click on the Bitcoin Wallet

This will open the Bitcoin wallet with the option to select where we will be saving the BTC chain.

*For BTC the initial sync will take some days, wallets are fully usable after being fully Synchronized.

b) Always remember to make constant backups of your wallets and save them in USB or external media.

Use your Bitcoin wallet to plug HW and mine BTC, Send/Receive Bitcoin,
become a full node and support the Bitcoin network, develop new applications,
etc, the limit is only in your imagination.

Important Security Notice:
*) Remember to create a backup for your Wallets, you can use the wallets to create them and save in different folders on a USB device.
You should ALWAYS have a backup of your wallet, Pine64+, Raspberry Pi and IoT Hardware, Debian and ROKOS Software are under development hence not responsible for missuses, electrical or compatibility issues that might cause a loss of information. It is as secure as one's ability to take care for it, same as a computer, so always have a backup of your wallets on an external device.

*) Some people tend to recommend getting a 128Gb MicroSD HC (High speed) , at the same time it does work, We do not recommend this solution, as microSD cards tend to get corrupted by the number of overwrites, to ensure the best functionality and security you should use an external HDD/USB storage device to store the chain.

You can start testing and developing new integration with the Bitcoin and OK Tech for your IoT projects.

I agree I have no problem paying claymore the dev fee that's his pay for providing some of the best most stable mining programs out I own a flooring company and I no how it feels for ppl to think I can work for free or want to beat me down on pricing it's bullshit u don't want to pay the fee use a different miner

When changing clocks and other settings in a conf file do I need to do each gpu separate or can I use a comma like in a bat file I usually use windows so I use .bat files and only changed settings in .conf files a few times but now I'm trying out pimp and need to change clocks in the conf file

I'd like to ask the community, though - what coin would you like to see next for SGMiner-GM?

ZCash would be awesome, but i am aware it's highly improbable
XMR support has been added!

Keep in mind folks, this is a pre-release version. Currently, there is a bug with Windows where it crashes upon mining. We're able to reproduce it, but not able to find it.

I'd like to ask the community, though - what coin would you like to see next for SGMiner-GM?

I'm getting steady 30MH/s on each Fury X on stock clocks (1050/500). Claymore's can only get about 28MH.
A 390 at 1040Mhz gets 29Mh, with some overclocking I can surely can 32-33MH, but my cards warm up too much. Definitely the best miner out there.

The only issue I can spot is the CPU usage, which makes this miner basically worthless on weak CPUs. I couldn't run it on a single-core AMD CPU and a friend of mine had his rig crashing with a dual core Celeron installed. most mining rigs have very weak CPUs, and if this miner gets updated to support them, I am sure it will get much more traction.

Has it been determined that this issues running on systems with weak CPUs is real? Is there a fix coming?  I am wondering if this is the problem I am having on my multi-gpu mining rigs.  One GPU run at the right hash rate while the others run at half.  No matter what I do with the settings I cannot resolve this issue.  Both rigs have single core AMD CPUs.  I would love to use sgminer with its RPC capabilities but I am not going to invest in bigger CPUs for it.

Thanks.

If you search Wolf0's post in this thread, you will find that he posted a fix for the CPU usage bug.

Here it is again for those that don't want to look back through the thread.  I can confirm it no longer hogs the CPU on one core.
https://ottrbutt.com/miner/downloads/sgminer-gm/sgminer-gm-wolf-09222016.zip

copy sgminer.exe from the zip to the existing install directory.

I've gone ahead and added Wolf's fixed sgminer.exe to the release page, here: https://github.com/genesismining/sgminer-gm/releases/tag/5.3.0-gm

I would like to see the bugs in the current version fixed. sometimes it just says "found a block" at random times. additionally the miner has a bug where it stops showing the hashrates and shares if click on the miner's window. other than that it's a great miner.

Maybe Zcash? I'm sure it will make it really popular.

Zcash is not improbable. However, we wouldn't have something available on Zcash's launch. We'll look into it. I can't promise anything, but I can't deny we won't add it, either.

SEGMENTATION FAULTS  WITH CRYPTONIGHT--

Segmentation faults and a hard reboot result when attempting to mine CryptoNight under Ubuntu 14.04 with R9 280X GPUs.  The archives on the release page do not contain "cryptonight.cl", and while I was able to dig the file out of the git source, I was not able to mine successfully.

I took the solo Ubuntu binary from the opening page, substituted it in the miner directory, sourced "cryptonight.cl" from git, and was able to boot the miner and generate "bin" files, but then I got a hard hang requiring a reboot.  The error message stated "Error 61...".  Taking a clue from Wolf's other XMR project, I used work sizes of 8 and 16, with xIntensities of 320, 640, and 1024.  Lots of reboots and USB riser jiggling.

A sample configuration file for mining CryptoNight with this miner would be helpful.  I simply adapted the sample Ethereum configuration, setting "cryptonight" algo as default for a single pool.       --scryptr

EDIT:  I am able to mine with Wolf's other XMR project, but not on NiceHash.  NiceHash has specific extranonce requirements for CryptoNight.       --scryptr

First: Cryptonight.cl is in the directory.
Second: Intensity of 320 will kill your 280x. Please don't use that. That's a RawIntensity of 32x64x320. That's 655360! That is a hell of a lot of work for your poor GPU.
Third: You're not mining successfully because of your settings. Don't reuse settings from Wolf's other projects with sgminer-gm. They're two separate entities. One is a custom made, stand-alone miner. The other is, well, sgminer.
Fourth: Don't ever use xIntensity. Rawintensity only. Try 448, move upwards from there.

The formula for rawintensity is  #(CUs) x worksize x 4 - so, for a 280x, you'd have 32 x 4 x 4. That gives us 512. Now, keep in mind, memory latency and bandwidth will come into play here, so you will need to tinker.

Here is a sample configuration:

Code:
{
    "pools": [{
        "name": "MoneroWorld",
        "url": "stratum+tcp://pool.minexmr.com:4444",
        "user": "41dPExBcrTjHU5fY41NLeKN3Zm6JFmxcC5BiEzGXC2WH1mj9hQV1VzLVcxeQVxavdURzXNCHmXLSgeH7KEfzLUFhPhidXJB",
        "pass": "x",
        "profile": "xmr"
    }],
    "profiles": [{
            "name": "xmr",
            "algorithm": "cryptonight",
            "rawintensity": "448",
            "worksize": "4",
            "gpu-threads": "2"
    }],
    "default-profile": "xmr",
    "no-extranonce": true
}

I have 270,280,290s would that formula for rawintensity be the same or what would be good to start with also Im running eth with xIntensity 768 should that also be rawintensity instead of xintensity and what to start with Im getting double the HW errors on my 290 and would love to tune all these gpus in but have no clue on what settings to start with than there is TC and powertune any advice on settings would be appreciated thank you

Love playing with pimp finally figuring everything out I'm wondering if the sgminer with eth support can be updated  with wolfo xmr support https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1612329.0 thanks
