841  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: August 23, 2020, 05:59:41 AM
At the end of the day, it is still a speculation.

A lot of people already did that. In the past, one even says that the Bitcoin price will be reaching $500K, if not he will be eating his own dick, still waiting for that to happen though. This may seem impossible for some but it is possible, the problem is that it still needs time. It can't just reach that kind of price overnight and with the adoption so slow right now, we are still far from it.
I believe that Bitcoin will reach $100k, and it's my stand. I didn't seen anything that can shake my beliefs for now.

It is possible, and we all hope that it did.

Right now, I don't look forward to it. What I wanted right now is for me to be able to use Bitcoin without asking these stores or merchant that they do. This price will be possible if a lot of poeple would be using Bitcoin, the price would really explode with the high demand if the adoption increases. All I can do right now is just convert some of my friend's Btc to fiat.
842  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: August 23, 2020, 05:00:41 AM
No way. Bitcoin will be back under $10k soon enough whether stocks crash or not. There is no way this market can sustain prices above $10k for anything but momentary bouts of speculative euphoria. Eventually the price will be back under $10k for good.
In my opinion bitcoin won't be back under $10k in this year. At this time, bitcoin is strong enough and it has ability to break $15k very soon. If we support bitcoin by holding, we will be able to get some good news soon.

We don't know that.

It reached a good price in a short period of time, there is a chance that it can do the opposite at the same period of time. It may break barriers but I think it will again go back to 4 digits before going back to 5 digits.
843  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic outlook and your life for 2021 poll on: August 23, 2020, 03:53:45 AM
I have been affected because the company where I am working stopped.

But after some time it did resume and it went all back to normal, though I am at home working. As a user and an investor, nothing really changed. I have saved money from my salaries, I am earning good numbers from the cryptocurrencies I am holding but I just use some of it to pay some bills, other than that, well it is just there in my wallet.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: August 23, 2020, 02:50:00 AM

An official vaccine is better than using a vaccine without any trials, we are gonna be a lab rat if that happens.

This a great point of concern, any kind of vaccine takes years to measures all its effects and side effects but the current position of the world is such that the people/ Gov cannot afford to wait for that long procedure.

And they need the vaccine desperately.

People and the Government here in the country are so dependent on the vaccine that the government even accepted that they may be the lab rats of the vaccine of Russia. As far as I know the vaccine are still not done with Phase III, China's vaccine also started its Phase III trials in Argentina so it is really a matter time for the vaccine to be produced. Maybe next year, it will be easier.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 23, 2020, 01:48:55 AM
I think everyone should be aware of this threat and they should look after themselve as best they can. Visiting a physical casino will also increase the risk of infection as we never know who is infected around us if they are not showing symptom.

Asymptomatic cases are really scary knowing that they will never show us symptoms of the virus.

My father was tested positive but he was really surprised because he is not feeling most of the symptoms of the virus, it might be because of the immunity these people have from the virus. A lot of asymptomatic cases are also found in the US making it harder to track those people carrying the virus making these lawsuits really a pain in the head to investigate.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 22, 2020, 10:08:45 AM
Crypto gambling sites got more popular due to its convenience and no KYC policies, even if there is KYC minors can use fake identities to pass the restrictions of gambling sites but the legit players who care about their privacy will boycott such gambling sites.Gambling is business not a service so people should be careful with what they are involving and if minor does that means the care taker should be the sole responsible for that.

I think that can be the reason for people to playing gambling on the crypto gambling website because they don't have to fills KYC to hide their identity. Even if there is a casino that requires KYC, some gamblers will not have a problem because they know that they will protect their data. So that can make the minors will try to join in that casino because usually if a website restricts the number of the members, they really care about their safety, and the casino will protect them from the hackers. It's like the VIP elite of the casino, which only people who have a good track record can join.

Children will find their way around KYCs.

You know how smart and intelligent these kids are nowadays. They could just borrow or make their parents sign up in these sites with KYCs and they will use it. There are cases that these parents are already signed up in these sites and their children are just playing using that. The internet is the most influential place for them, they could even buy information they could use there, it is that easy for them. Then there are those sites without KYCs.

Bro, that wife proving his husband is really funny.

Very interesting facts that I've read. Also, another one that proves how casinos want to keep their customers in their premises in order to get more money from them, that's amazing. Great read, having a bad day and this ends that cloudy day. Will continue reading and following this thread. Keep it coming, keep us entertaining and keep it more interesting.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 22, 2020, 08:21:20 AM
AD and KCP are on fire, especially AD. A facebook even made a photo of it calling it "Brow time", maybe a tease to Dame's Dame time. I don't know but that hype would really fell with this result still, I think Blazers can do better. We also see Damian injuring his finger with his steal on AD, will that affect the future games of the team?
As I expected, I don't think that the Lakers will make themselves down 0-2 in the first round. I still remember when LBJ said to Kobe that he will bring the champion back to LA. He has still a mission to do so I don't think that they will lose on this game 2. Same with the Bucks and Magic. I didn't expect that Bucks will put themselves down 0-2 against the possible weakest team in the Playoffs.

The injury of Dame can affect their game but not that much if he will come out strong in Game 3. I just hope that it will not get re-injured on their next game or this will be a one-sided match up.

I don't know, any injury to a finger for a shooter is devastating.  Now if someone like anthony Davis had that happened he can just play more inside and adjust but dames game is 15 feet and out.  Be interested to see how this effects the series.  A shame because I actually think portland is a tough match up for the lakers...but thats with dame playing at 100%

I hope he can still play at a 100, though.

They went through hard games just to prove that they are worthy of going in the playoffs but I think it will be really sad if they will not put a good fight against these great teams. Also, as far as I know it is his non-shooting finger that got dislocated so I really hope he can get back. I am not a fan of Portland, it is just that seeing him playing this great means something and I hope he can still get that acknolwedgement he deserves, he is not just a hype, he is proving something.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crypto currencies are getting dangerous on: August 22, 2020, 07:27:08 AM
That's the price of adoption. Every government want to control money flows. Sure, there will be even more kyc & aml & tracking in the future

As they says it, it is a choice.

If you want to, you can use their service; if you don't want to have any KYCs then you could use other decentralized cryptocurrencies' exchange for that. In our country, if we really want to use our Bitcoins then we can have some choices but the best choice there is a local exchange with KYC since most of the things I usually pay bills using Btc are there.
850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: August 22, 2020, 05:06:56 AM
Actually the aim of the Philippine government is to try to warn individuals and groups there to be careful in choosing an investment, maybe even this warning exists in every country. and again, cryptocurrencies that are victims of greed. Ponzi schemes scams have been going on for a long time in the crypto world, and we can see "cryptocurrency is still doing well even getting more developed". this is where the importance of learning, knowledge of how cryptocurrency and technology works, this is all for the good of all of us as a crypto community.

There are a lot of those scams that are actually using Bitcoin as a scapegoat.

They say that the money they are investing are going into Bitcoin which will increase as time pass and the more they invite, the more they will be earning. When the price drops, they will be taking the money and run with it leaving those people that have the impression that they are scammed by Bitcoin but actually it is the people. That is the reason the government are warning those new investors and users to these groups that might be an investment scam.
851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: August 22, 2020, 04:08:43 AM
for small assets I think it's better for us to trade but it really depends on you whether you understand about trading or not, between investment and trading also has its own risks and we ourselves must be able to do things that I think the decision is in each of them , trading if you don't understand the instrument is the same
Investments has better returns than trading but it should be on right asset and for the long term.Because most of the millionaires in 2020,started their career with less capital but they managed to keep investing on the returns again made them to be a millionaire.

I don't think investing is better than trading but it doesn't matter.

It is better if you can do both. Investing is not always as good, trading is the same as there are higher risks but if you can do both, you can maximize the profit you are getting. Hold Bitcoin for a period of time and then use it to trade with other altcoins, if you want to you can just sell it and reinvest again if it is a favorable price.
852  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No fees trading hack. WTF? on: August 22, 2020, 03:23:21 AM
Honestly, Today is my first day hearing about Nominex. The exchange is just barely a year old and so I wouldn't risk putting in my cryptos there just trying to avoid some trading fees that's not a big percentage compared to the asset being traded.

Same here.

I'm good with the exchanges I'm in right now. It is not that I am not open to such new ones it is just that I don't want to risk my cryptocurrencies in these sites for now and yeah, that also means fees.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: MENTAL HEALTH ANG WELLBEING on: August 22, 2020, 01:26:07 AM
The main thing is to keep yourself busy and there will be no stress. Fortunately, there is the Internet, this forum and bounty campaigns, so you don't have to sit around

Keeping yourself busy will end up yourself stressed.

If you really need to recover from this, you need to face it head-on. You need to accept it, not turn away from it which can make it worse. If you are already addicted, it is hard that is why you really need someone who's professional that can help you. Focus on what you wanted to do, setting goals is one of the best start from it.
854  Economy / Economics / Re: Our country was called Province of China. on: August 21, 2020, 10:51:30 AM
The nerves!

I don't know what they are thinking but they are obviously taunting our country with this, in our faces, in our lands, they created this product and they call it the province of their country? I've already watched how Mayor Isko(Mayor of Manila) stood against this closing all those stores down even the address on that product. Now, what would the government do about it? Be silent?
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 21, 2020, 09:50:20 AM
The only problem with KYC is our privacy and our reputation that someone could hack their system and steal someone's information to used it in their illegal activities, that is why bounty hunters and investors don't trust KYC in new projects nowadays because it might turned out to be a scam project. But if there are minors that has an interest to gamble in a crypto casino, maybe requiring a KYC should be implemented, and parents should always monitor their children if they are getting involved in gambling sites.

With the scams that has happened in past and privacy issue, people just differ whenever there is a KYC formality needs to be completed and consider it as a high risk of data breach. Thus, this does not suit it and there is no other way as such to identify if the minors are gambling or not. Onus lies on parents at large to check what their kid is doing it.

KYC wouldn't stop these kids from gambling.

We are not even talking about KYC but there are a lot of kids that can actually buy games online that is not suitable with their age, how can they do that? They use their parent's card and account. It is impossible to accurately pinpoint a kid gambling unless they are showing it to everyone. Parents should really control their children, that is the only way. If they really wanted, they could start a seminar for these parents.

Now watching lakers vs portland 0-1 portland win in the first game of the playoff series. This match will probably goes to lakers they had a good cooperation and bigger guys inside the court with Howard, Davis and Lebron. Besides, lakers had also some good shooting players like Green.

What do you think the outcome of this game? Do you agree that lakers will take to win the game this time? I can't waiti to see how Lakers do their play to get tied in the series.

That was a good win by the Lakers. Won by 23 points, big win to even the series. I doubt people would still believe on the hype as they saw how the Blazers got dominated in the game. I think the best series in the West now are the Mavericks vs Clippers.

This is a great game for Lakers.

Positive news, he does not broke his finger but he might not play in game 3, but it's still a good news as the series is tied, maybe he can play in game 4 and put that Dame time show again.

I guess we know where will we be betting then.

That would be really frustrating. He's been doing his best and this happens. I guess CJ would be doing the scores the next game. I'm not doubting Blazers but I would be with Lakers here and I think if Damian didn't play next game, Lakers would take the lead in the series.

858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the need to increase BTC's max supply arise in the future? on: August 21, 2020, 05:32:18 AM
I don't think the developers are even thinking about this.

If we will be thinking about it, we've been finding a solution to this as a problem because there will be a lot of people using it in the future. That means the demand of it is so high the reason I think that it will not be needed because the value or price of Bitcoin will be so high that even the smallest denomination will be of a good price.
859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 21, 2020, 04:10:18 AM
I think it s very important cashless transactions during this pandemic and BTC play a very good role in it.
What role?..

Bitcoin may not be that usable for you or other people there but some people are actually getting something out of it. My cousin's been earning some small profit he's using to sustain the needs of his family since he's unemployed this pandemic. It isn't the transactions that only matters, it could also be other ways.

That is a different thing.

I am talking about the transactions that are happening these pandemic and it matters since that is why I replied like this because this is not actually happening. As a proof, your cousin might not be using Bitcoin but just the fiat he can get from selling it or converting it to fiat. Yes he is using it but I am talking how people are actually using Bitcoin in this pandemic to pay and they are still few.
