At the current cost of bitcoin and the complexity of mining, many companies will leave the market. I have contracts in cloud-mining services, where nothing is paid, somewhere a profit of $ 0.1 from 1 Tx per day ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) but we expect another halving of the award for the block in 2020, then another one in 4 years. The price should grow, otherwise large companies will start serious problems.

The musicoin usually falls to 100 satosh and then rises. The volume of sales on exchanges is very small. This is very sad. But we hope and believe. Dear developers, we look forward to hearing from you new interesting solutions!

I will say my opinion. Any adapter complicates the system and reduces its reliability. Chinese adapters have a lot of marriage. A consequence may be the burnout of the video card or MB connectors. I have long been in a mining, I communicate with people who have 100-1000 video cards. Everyone prefers to take a ready-made verified solution. Solve yourself.

Asiс is a piece of iron. It is expensive, on the secondary market is not in demand. As a rule, it's very dinny and consumes electricity. The profit falls very quickly, only those customers who will receive the first are the winners + problems with the guarantee.
The GPU has fewer problems and can be sold in the secondary market
The GPU is toast after a year of mining and NOBODY WILL WANT IT. Gonna be a flood of used miner cards on ebay - people will soon learn they aren't worth shit for reliability! Any hardcore PC gamer knows gfx cards have a usage life depending on how hard you push em much like a car! cars with high miles = worth jack shit. With gfx tech increasing rapidly right now fueld by crypto, you can bet that 1080/vega or whatever will be worth $60 in a year (+ shipping and ebay/paypal fees) so the resale price point doesn;t mean much. I'd much rather have twice the production per unit of time/energy/$$ because lets be honet right now its about who can most the most the fastest speculating on a future price increase and known diffcullty scaling. TLDR: The asic miners blow gfx cards out of the water no doubt about it. And this news of secret asic miners taking HUGE chunks of monero, zcash, etc, WTF?? crypto for the hobby gfx card miner is dead most just don't realize it (which fuels the at home gfx card hobby miner market). Dear friend. In any business, you need to make investments in time and get out in time ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I was very lucky, I invested at the right time. I'm against buying a video card on ebay or other international stores. Video cards purchased in the stores of the home city have a 3-year warranty (you can make 5 for a fee) and they are perfectly sold in the secondary market. 10% of my video cards were put under warranty because of breakdowns. There were no problems. The funny thing is that according to Russian laws the seller is obliged to issue a substitution for the period of repair of the video card. And while the seller was solving warranty issues, I mined on his video cards ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Stop screwing around. Do you want to do a mining farm from old junk and earn a lot of money? Mining is an investment for 2-3 years, so you need to collect from new and verified components. The most expensive is a power supply and a video card. Saving 80 dollars on the motherboard is simply unreasonable.

I recently watch a huge number of sales of video cards in the secondary market. The history of 2014 is repeated. Sadly of course. We are waiting for hardforks, otherwise the GPU will be very difficult for miners.

Damn the numbers on this will surely change - ATM a 50k at 620watts is around 100 bucks a day. This is the beginning of a big ol asic dash.... again
How long will this profit last? The algorithm X11 was the same. At first there were huge profits, then the asics began to work on paying for electricity.

The thing is that we are in a big big deep ! I am wondering how long this deep will last ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) How exactly are you sure that we are at the big big deep ? If this is the case, then it's time to buy ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Something does not fart with the course. Waited x2-x4 and can fall to 100 satosh. We will wait for the news, although the latest news does not significantly affect the exchange rate.
Its not only this coin. Basically pretty much most small/medium cap coins are suffering since Dec/Jan. Problems with coins like MUSIC is that the supply is very high and a large percentage of the miners are constantly dumping the coins everyday. The miner reward is like $14,000 a day and after a month its around half a million. Hence if there aren't half a million dollars worth of bids it will cause the price to go down. Really looking forward to the proof of sharing and hope that the ice age built into this eth-fork will start to take affect soon. It's not that. There are so many coins with greater circulation and high cost. If the reward to the miners falls heavily, then it will affect the hash of the network and its security.

I am impressed, just got a shipping notification 2 days after I placed my A9 order and an email to choose 1 free T2/A4+/S11/A5 and PSU, but shipping was a bit steep at $400 for both. On the other hand still waiting on Bitmain for a Z9 update.
Are not you afraid to buy this asic? The Equihash algorithm can repeat the path of the X11 algorithm. Most people in a couple of months have received machines that work only to pay for electricity.

I'm sure that when by August-September the miners will get their asics and FPGA and launch them into work on these algorithms, there will be nothing to do with the 79хх and 280 series video cards.

Video has been disproved, is clickbait nonsense. Ignore.
This. The video is total BS. And, I'm actively selling these boards -- that should tell you something. Thanks! Your equipment gives out Cryptonight - v1 14Kh / s 150W Lyra2z 20.5Mh / s 150W Is it possible to mine the ЕТН algorithm on it and what will the performance be?

Today i show you what i know so far about FPGA's and their possible mining capabilities. As shown in the video, their hashrates on Ethereum for example could be enormous! ASIC's are nothing compared to these possible hashrates. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs8.hostingkartinok.com%2Fuploads%2Fimages%2F2018%2F06%2F321403a480c8288026ebc1678b89a102.png&t=663&c=wZ6eWb7vjSr98g) See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9DJ18y8LcIFPGA VCU1525 60 x R5801900 mh/s 1900 mh/s 225W 6000W 4000-5000$ 18000$

@markiz73 sorry stupid idea. there are so many things that he can test before installing a new os XD
sorry for my bad english
I have many colleagues-miners using several systems on farms. This is very convenient in many cases. Windows they load from the hard drive and Linux from the USB drive. But let everyone make his choice.

music's Cheating suspicion
~snip
What in tarnation has gotten into you, son? You started off wanting to partner with Musicoin and now you are accusing them of fraud? Has someone slipped extra mercury into your diet over the last 3 months or what? Competitors playing salty game :/ Apparently the colleague had very high hopes for the growth of the music coin in the near future. And it fell very much in price. So he was upset:) Now he's trying to uncover a conspiracy theory.
