I understand the empathy angle, I just don't see what the big deal is getting all mad here.  There are clever ways to get your frustrations heard on hashtalk... you just have to make sure you preface everything with a "I'm not causing trouble here, I believe this is all good" type gibberish.  Don't use those quotes exactly, but sprinkle it in, and you will usually get like minded people to sympathize with your pleas for clarity.

I don't get all mad in here anymore - i had my issues with them and they did with me much like others here i'm sure, and i don't care about hashtalk, i have no interest in their operations anymore other than what i read here. Let's face the facts - this company is pure lunacy. it's plain as day. is it wrong to hang around here and make fun of it? no, it's human nature to pick on things/people, fact.

What truly angers me, is scammers. so, until we know the truth, we watch and have fun.. popcorn anyone? Cheesy

btw, MR. CEO even messaged me once on BCT about something i posted once, so i know he monitors this thread. wouldn't be surprised if he had paid people or something. it came from his (seemingly?) own bct account even, but i deleted it and can't remember his username.. i'm fairly sure he was grinning when he sent it tho.  Wink

There's nothing there, you need to troll harder.

Is this guy for real or is this a big ass joke? I just read his tagline on twitter and it reads:

"CEO of GAW Corp and GAW Miners. I started in telecom in 2002. Now I dabble in cryptocurrency - my passion. I've been called HashKing. Say Hi."

His telecom business crashed and burned.

http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/Business-Reviews/internet-access-provider/gaw-high-speed-internet-inc-in-enfield-ct-87076464

His current bbb rating is not exactly good.

http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/Business-Reviews/virtual-currency/geniuses-at-work-in-bloomfield-ct-87118728

He's been called "HashKing"? By whom, his wife? WTF does he hash? I haven't seen evidence of a single block solved by GAW.

He "Dabbles" in cryptocurrency? Hmm, if I'm an investor, I sure as hell hope the CEO of that company doesn't refer to his job "dabbling"  Shocked

I'm guessing this is where everyone goes to sulk after they are banned on Hashtalk?

Nah, i got out of Mt. GAW way back, (The first people out of the ponzi do pretty well it seems, go figure)! ..

I'm simply here for the entertainment value at this point.

Me too.  I find it funny.

I don't really find it "funny" because a lot of people may end up severely hurt in the end here, however, i do enjoy the daily drama and the humor like that code post above, that was brilliant.  Wink

If I was a big investor my first request to Josh would be that he learn to spell. :grinning:

He addressed that issue in that thread, saying something like "oh i will fix my grammar and stuff soon, but that just means it won't be me writing it! :grinning:"

what an asshat. this can't end well... how the hell could it?

Do not listen to these trolls. Majority of people who hates towards GAW are just spouting utter nonsense.

You mean like thermovacum controlled miners , you buy at 4$ few weeks later sell for 20$ sounds legit right?

White Paper? Bah, My investors dont even care about that shit, shut up asking about it.
Here is my  Pseudo Proof of Concept Code:

Blackhole::TI_Vaccum_Transaction() {
TI1 = Warp Proof-of-Work Hash (nBlockHeight ~ Proof-of-Transactional-Vaccumility(nth) );
TI2 = SHA256( TI1 ) * HyperDifficulty(n);
TI3 = Return ( TI2 – Eat at Joes(sponsored line)( directive ) );
return xCTI3;
}
Warptimefold::TI_Locked_Transaction() {
TILT = Translucent.TI_Sent_Transaction();
if ( TILT = Timefold_X+tx23(Verified_Transaction( mrch ) ) {
ThermoBlockConfirmation = true + A;
}
}

That should be enough codes to please the crypto nerds. OK now invest.

Damnit thanks that had me laughing pretty good, i love this thread sometimes! Cheesy

Good friend of mine just confirmed after a meeting with low level SEC representatives that the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating GAW MINERS, LLC for securities fraud and WILL be indicting/prosecuting them under the 1970 RICO Act.

Get any assets you have left out NOW.

Oh dear. Was your account hacked again? Either that or you have really shitty friends that play stupid pranks on you.

No. We've known each other for years and he lives in DC. I can guarantee that an investigation will go public eventually but I don't have physical evidence yet

Maybe it started here?

GAW is scamming its customers by autobuying lowball offers.....   Ok, we are at tinfoil hat time on page one.   It's a GAWSpiracy, bro.

oh hi, I guess you forgot to post your reasoning for how/why every time someone fucks up the cancel button doesn't work, but that's ok, i'll go back to my tin foil hat with no lost sleep either way ...   Tongue

Good for you .. I'm trying to do the same with my genesis, but doing so I made a big mistake and i clicked to fast

So I'm probably shouting in the desert but if the guy who bought 2000GHS for 5$ is reading this,  would he (or she) be fair play enough to PM me that would be nice .

Ouch... that appears to be a 1000+ USD mistake, am i right?

Sorry man, feel for you if so... Holy shit, ouch... i hate gaw, but i do love the entertainment here....

you're correct , my ass is gonna hurt for a while . To all of you be careful , each time you split a miner , the zencloud website has the bad habbit to rearrange all the miners.

ah hell. and so the gawxxing begins/continues...

edit - sorry again, that's really shitty. i just hope it was money can live without if it comes to that. Sad

i thought they added a double confirmation pop-up when selling, because another guy sold like 15K worth of MHS for like 40 bucks by accident? Not sure if he ever got it back, but I believe gaw told him sorry, sales are all final or some bs... Did you try contacting their worthless support desk?

(Let's hope GAW themselves didn't buy it back, now there's an angle they could be exploiting for a lot of money eh?)

"Doctor, my friend has this problem..."

oh wow. this tool is so lost, not to mention, he has the literacy of a 10th grader when it comes to grammar, unless he's just lazy as  fck*....

I can't stop laughing at his questions about btc - it's like he just woke up and realized how btc actually works  how fcked* his hashcoin plan is this morning...  Grin Grin

edit - then there's this poor sap who recently discovered what inflation was apparently:

"I don't know about you, but my grocery bills are up 25% from last year, purchasing nearly the same items.
In this regards, my $10.00 in the bank has become $7.50."

My word those people are so delusional... if they can't figure it out yet, they never will and deserve to go down in a hail of shit and fire, just like Homero....

I would like to recommend against making a deposit to an exchange with a non-zero mixin.    Secure your privacy by other means.  If you use a non-zero mixin, the exchange has plausible deniability of receipt, which would require a complete data dump to refute.  Subpoenas don't work that way, so you are screwed.

maybe i'm a moron but wouldn't that also apply for withdrawals, as one does not get a mixin option afaik?  thanks!

Monero now below $.6, more fallen from $2.2 a few months ago.
Best of luck, Monero Developers and Community.

Thanks, it's a great time to buy monero; the devs are working hard and getting the db in order and the price is fantastic.

I have to admit I am jealous of the people who are discovering Monero just now and can buy at this price  Cheesy

i sort of agree, but im in for the long haul, so i dont' really care about day to day prices myself. Time will tell, i try not to dwell on it. so many coins, so little btc and time right? Cheesy

Hi All. I'm going to transfer some money into BTC tomorrow morning. I want to purchase some more XMR but I'm worried. Where is the bottom? .0017? .0016? .0015? Anyone have any idea ? I'm going to guess .0016 but who knows.

Nobody knows the bottom. reality bites, sorry.
