GAW is scamming its customers by autobuying lowball offers.....   Ok, we are at tinfoil hat time on page one.   It's a GAWSpiracy, bro.

oh hi, I guess you forgot to post your reasoning for how/why every time someone fucks up the cancel button doesn't work, but that's ok, i'll go back to my tin foil hat with no lost sleep either way ...   Tongue

Not only did GAW leave all their directory listings open, how embarressing, seems they are also selling the coins in the ICO for $2 and claiming now $100 a coin.

That's even more embarrassing.

*Homero is Josh's real name incase anyone didn't know.

He has 2 names and both are real.

I typo'd embarrassing with an 'e' instead of an 'a' that's the best that you could do?  Cheesy

He has two names, neither of which are Josh. Your point?

''@GAW_CEO Looks I will be in Wallstreet Journal next week :grinning:''

I'm betting that they'll use a service like PR Newswire. Pay them and they'll send whatever you makeup to a large number of news sites. The news sites (Like CNN) then just repost the PR letter verbatim. I'd be incredibly surprised if they get a legitimate interview from any of these larger news sites.

Pardon if everyone already knows this, but looks like the public IPO timer is set to 78 days away.

That means anyone who is mining HP has a good 78+ days until they can hope to ever see BTC or USD for their efforts. That is a long time to mine something with nothing to show for it.

When calling something embarassing it's important not to embarass yourself.

Josh is short of Joshua - his name.

The real site hashcoin.com shows 10 days. That gawstories one is probably an older draft version, although it's odd that they would have a fully functional site sitting there on a public server.

Having said that, I think public ICO in either case doesn't mean BTC or USD. "Exchange Launches" step on the timeline is when we can hope to get there. And there is no date on that.

Josh is short of Joshua - his name.

When calling people out on names pointlessly, it's important to get them right. His name is Homero Josiah. Wink

jimmothy, I think it's also "live" on http://hashbase.com/ minus PRESS / BETA buttons.

Not sure though why it says Bitcoin all over if it's going to be all about code-name-hashcoin.

Well now I feel stupid.

I was positive that that was just a mockup site and that the real hashbase couldn't possibly be so cheesy/featureless.

I'm actually noticing a few changes so I'll leave the original pic here: https://i.imgur.com/tSTCzv4.jpg

ya that is pretty cheesy for a multi-million dollar company lmao...I truly do believe hashcoin will be a big flop just because if all the major retailers won't accept bitcoin...why would they accept a coin that just came out? doesn't matter what features they put into the coin...and that whole gaw run blockchain will put the final nail in the coffin...gee wish i could come out with my own coin and control it myself...oh wait...we already have a system like that in place you say? ever heard of fiat? lmao

Dreams of cyprto solving everything is slowly slipping away...Replaced by scams/hacks Sad

I'll just leave these here.  Smiley

Some history of Homero's* past performance:

http://www.topix.com/forum/city/canaan-vt/THJFBNV4MIFIR075C

Not only did GAW leave all their directory listings open, how embarrassing, seems they are also selling the coins in the ICO for $2 and claiming now $100 a coin. That puts the market cap at ~$100billion, so HashCoin will be worth roughly 20x Bitcoin.  Grin

*Homero is Josh's real name incase anyone didn't know.

...............

My jaw literally dropped.

Well, a number of people will be facing SEC indictments in the coming years over such blatant securities law violations and criminal fraud.

The topic has shifted significantly from the initial Zen hosting/hashlet questions that it seemed to warrant a fresh start.

Think of it as dumping your 20-year-old station wagon after kids are off to college and buying a 2015 Stingray (yes, using your ICO profits of course).

Nov. 24th was the date given for HashPoint for HashCoin ICO.   After than HashBase is supposed to open.   It is unclear when HashCoins will be exchangeable or useable.

Based on the road map picture it has to be after HashCoin goes public, so at minimum 78 days away.  First they have to get it on the exchanges and when it was brought up at Cryptsy no one in the chat really seemed to care.

Yea, I suspect the crypto community will be agaisnt Hashcoin... If this isn't adopted by sheeple that don't typically use crypto it won't work.

I believe HashBase will have an exchange of some type built in to it.

I believe HashBase will have an exchange of some type built in to it.

Yes, the hashbase UI screenshot seemed to indicate that. But it doesn't mean it will be available at the time of "public" launch, and there is a separate step on the timeline titled "Exchange Launches". In either case dates are unknown except that it's supposed to happen in Q4.

https://i.imgur.com/RREGdr7.jpg

FWIW the screenshot also shows a "daily limit", which may or may not mean anything.
