8461  Economy / Speculation / Re: countdown to 02:00 Zulu, goxdump or no? on: April 12, 2013, 12:36:00 AM
somehow I rather doubt that, I mean, maybe "open", but regardless of whatever they may have done to improve their clearing rate, their servers are going to be epically hammered at 02:00

I expect massive opening lag and a dump with some degree of overshoot, however, the other exchanges have held up surprisingly well all afternoon, a new equilibrium will be found.
8462  Economy / Speculation / Re: countdown to 02:00 Zulu, goxdump or no? on: April 12, 2013, 12:27:56 AM
T minus one hour 30 minutes

8463  Economy / Speculation / Re: countdown to 02:00 Zulu, goxdump or no? on: April 11, 2013, 11:27:18 PM
T minus 2 hours 30 minutes

consensus price trending up into the low 90s

this is getting rather interesting

You know whats funny?

When MtGox opens, they will prove everyone why they're the leading exchange. All those coins traded at other exchanged will be poured into MtGox. Once again its the market mover!

Virtex leaded the price for the last month or so..

The end of Gox as the lead exchange has begun !

105-110 on virtex...

MtGox's price should get arround the virtex price soon after trading re-enabled.. usually 5% lower than virtex..

I am starting to think so
8467  Economy / Speculation / countdown to 02:00 Zulu, goxdump or no? on: April 11, 2013, 05:24:35 PM
On the one hand a tumultuous rush for the exit seems inevitable, on the other alternative exchanges are gaining market share as fast as their servers can process new accounts and seem to have stabilized at a consensus valuation around $90/BTC.

I am starting to doubt that the great buying opportunity will even present itself.

the exchanges that can handle the server load (camp bx, bct-e, perhaps others) are already trending back up into the 80s or 90s
