8501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: July 20, 2017, 06:31:25 AM
In every investment, there is always a risk involved. Just like what i've said many times to my fellow earners and to those who needed advice from me, investing in bitcoin always has a risk. Because this time you are not the one who controls your money, you can't control the price of bitcoin. It's not advisable to put all of your money in bitcoin.

True. The fact that we dont know where bitcoin would be in the future tells it all.
Just like what happened last week, it went down below $2000 and many people are in panic just because of that.
So relying on bitcoin all of the money that you have is not recommended.
If something bad happen there should be something left that you could spend or start with again.
There will be a big change that will happen in August 1 and this might also affect the value of it.
8502  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 20, 2017, 05:21:33 AM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

Well then, why didn't you include into how you could be richer with just bitcoin as your daily job.
I dont think that is the best idea.
Working with a company offers different incentives that will also secure your future when you retire.
And if you are still young I think you can do it all. You dont need to give up one for the other.
Do it all with time management while you still have the strength.
8503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker using bitcoin to cash in? on: July 20, 2017, 03:47:52 AM
Their are no legit poker site in bitcoin, one i was using fourtunejack but they have stopped poker tables, other i followed but they are not legit, i tried to play in nitrozen poker site but first they will make u win but after that even on good cards you will lose it all. So better be safe in playing poker with bitcoin.

I haven't tried fortunejack, but about Nitrozensports poker, I would say it is a fine experience. I don't know what happened with you, but I didn't faced any problem. Last I played 15 days ago and everything was good.
A friend suggested me Betcoin.ag, you can try that, though I don't know about it properly. I read it supports Ethereum as well, which kind of attracted me.

Yes, betcoin.ag accepts ETH deposits as well as ltc.

Looks like betcoin.ag is doing a good job stepping up their gambling site. They almost have all the popular games and poker is one of that which not all of the gambling site can offer.
Might be good to check it and if the person above me tells that they are now accepting ETH then it will be better.
8504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose only if you sell on: July 19, 2017, 06:01:28 PM
Yes now bitcoin prices are increasing and of course there are many bitcoin users who lost because yesterday they sell it at a slightly lower price, while this time back up to 10% from the previous price.
Yes you are right the price of bitcoin is starting to increase again, and I am also sure its price will cross 3000$ the second week of August very easily, and who had selling their bitcoin they lost their money in high of amount. So I suggest to all people that don't sell their bitcoin now, then in future you feel regret because its price will be very high.

A good suggestion but not everyone do listen with this.
Thanks to the people who are also denying the fact that it would increase again which is proved now.
They create threads and blogs which somehow manipulates the mind of those who doubts the bitcoin technology.
What now? There are all regrets.
One guy did make a thread about selling already because he cant see where it will go.
I guess after all it would be about faith with the coin.
8505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 19, 2017, 03:00:32 PM
It can be. Since bitcoin is popular worldwide it can be treated as a currency. Sooner or later it can be. I will feel grateful if that will happen so.

i don't think that bitcoin is popular in worldwide because until now, not people from all country is using bitcoin and most of them don't know about bitcoin but i am sure soon they will know. before bitcoin is using in all country, bitcoin can not be treated as a currency and only people which familiar with internet marketing, gambling and trading that will know bitcoin.

I didn't understand a thing and it is full of the "bitcoin" word.  Grin

I think that blockchain is new era of currency, maybe it wont be bitcoin.

This one is a good opinion. It is the blockchain that makes it all. Bitcoin is a part of it which just made popular thanks to the known people who have done their part into making it better in terms of price.
But why did they do it? Profit.
They won't do movements like making events to introduce bitcoin if they dont have a large amount of it.
This is how a good marketing strategy is. In pyramid investments they are like the people on top that is why they have to do something to keep that pyramid standing.

8507  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another opportunity to buy Bitcoin at Cheap price on: July 19, 2017, 11:40:55 AM
Many traders are selling off their Bitcoin because of what will probably happen on August 1. https://coindesk.com market index show Bitcoin trading below $2000 I think this is the best time to buy as the dump is see to be over at the moment. Having been following crytocurrency for quite some time now I see this as another way of dumping bitcoin lower so the professional and skillful traders to buy low and take profit when the price get to $2800. For your information, nothing serious is going to happen August 1.

I missed the opportunity. I thought about buying some, after they got around $1900 but decided to wait another day or to, to see how far they would go. Now they are back at $2300. I guess I will just keep holding them, but I definitely feel that I'm missing some good trading opportunities.

Guess many of us did miss that opportunity.
Too much ruckus about the panic selling that is caused will be the cause of the fork that is why buying bitcoin didn't matter. But Thank God I didn't go with the band wagon of the panic sellers and let it hold until now. Yehey! It is back.
8508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you support Bitcoin Segwit2x? on: July 18, 2017, 03:17:55 PM
Even if your intentions are genuine, this is unrealistic.  A poll which realistically will not reach a majority of the BTC community will not have any influence over others.

No he will not. This will have nothing to do and will create no impact.
Even if you look at the other polls. They can't be reached by majority here.
Maybe you can get like 5 percent of the users to vote. Then what about those who are outside the forum.
Regarding this segwit fuss that have been all over the forum it seems like it is getting a lot of support but still that doesn't mean we all have the same opinion about this.
I dont support it yet and I dont really know what it should be.
BU also created a ruckus on bitcoin and it failed and now this.  Lips sealed
8509  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects of bitcoins on: July 17, 2017, 07:08:28 PM
I was just thinking that since Bitcoins is 100% on the internet, what would happen if the whole world adopts it and 20M bitcoins gets stolen by a genius similar to what happened to Bitfinex?

Then that wont be valuable anymore.
Imagine one human being having 20 million pieces of the Monalisa.
Are you still going to buy that?
It was similar with bitcoin. The more people who wants it the more price it gets and be expensive.
Without that demand then one item will have lesser value.
It must be something that people are thriving to get even just a piece of it.
8510  Economy / Speculation / Re: where are you keeping your coins (1 aug) on: July 17, 2017, 09:30:01 AM
I dont have an offline wallet but I got Electrum which makes me feel safe from before until now.
All my funds from Coinbase and other online wallets are now safer.
This can be a big blast so better be ready to anything that could happen.
8511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 17, 2017, 06:50:02 AM
For now, the plan is just to hold it still.
Because of the price drop there is not much room for profit so it would better stay.
There have been a lot of sellers now because of the panic but not for me.
I dont want to get stucked with the queue or having a hard time when they start buying after the fork.
8512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: July 16, 2017, 06:25:34 PM
I convert my btc to dogecoin whenever I feel that deposit fee is way to much.

Regarding bitcoin being too expensive to play with, I agree that gambling with 1whole bitcoin is expensive. But you can always look at playing with lower denominations. You can even bet 1satoShi on most(if not all) of the dice sites.

That is true.
I am playing at Yolodice and I dont need to input a bitcoin just to play, just satoshis is okay.
The good thing is I am being paid now to post and I could gamble that instead of using faucet which also takes away my experience to level up (features of Yolodice)
Sometimes I just spend my time with the chatbox and win the prize from the questions which also can be used to gamble (another feature of Yolodice)
Bitcoin is expensive but there are another ways to earn it.
8513  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: July 16, 2017, 05:35:52 PM

Small amounts yield small profit too. It would be good to just use your small amount to buy cheap tokens and hold for long term and then sell when profit. You can buy thousands of coin when its price is just $0.02 and when the price is right, sell.

I'm trading with very small amounts. Like 100 ripple and so. I decided that it's not meaningful any more and I will try to risk more assets in the same time while trading.

Well if you're looking to up your experience about getting around trading, its ok to start with small amounts. That's because its easier to recover from a loss which would most likely happen. The more experienced you get, the higher you can raise the amounts of your trades

That is how it happened to me. Experienced the lost then try to find a way to make it back.
But most of the traders seems like getting down after a certain lost.
Thank God I did it just for a small amount which is like trial and error.
I lost, which is an error and now moving for a big change. That change is getting to know more knowledge about other coins which makes a big deal considering I already profited from it. Bitcoin is expensive that is why I chose to use other coins which can be afford by my monthly salary.
Start with a small amount then keep the experience.
8514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: July 16, 2017, 04:20:42 PM
Yesterday the Central Bank of Albania issued a warning about the uncertain and unsafe nature  of cryptocurrencies
They called on people not to get involved. Should we be afraid or the banks are!
Most of the banks don't know what crypto currency is. Even if they know they are definitely not afraid of it because of the fact that crypto currency was invented only a few years ago and banks have Been there for More than hundreds of years. Even though a lot of people hate banks they go to Banks for their financial transactions as they trust it and a lot of people think that bitcoin is not trust worthy and they think it is complicated to understand when compared to banks.

banks doest care about it for now, because it is not yet been legalize in many countries but sooner i think they will be afraid to bitcoin because many people will start using it because of the fast phasing of technology.

You got that right.
They dont see any potential out of it that is why they are just ignoring it.
Some banks did make a step to run a new blockchain for their own purpose but it seems like they cant perfect it or they see some flaws our of it.
That says it all. Banks and crypto currency cannot be connected. A real time physical transaction cannot be connected with an online one.
They might need a genius to make it work. How about they hire Satoshi. That is if he is still alive
8515  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: July 16, 2017, 03:17:09 PM
There are many people who lost their money on trading, because trading is unpredictable job, in my opinion i need:
Method ( i must have system trading)
Money ( i must have management of money and risk)
Mind ( i must can control my emotion)
Tell me your opinions?

Yeah it's unpredictable because we can not make sure that the daily profit is not changing everyday. We can not make sure that the coins we buy today will increase their price or not.

There are really people that are so good in interpreting trading charts and news headlines to turn it into a profitable trading. We should learn these skills before we even try to trade big amount of money because if you just blindly trade, it is no different to gambling. We should be a skillful trader in order to win here.

Got a hard time getting that skill.
Actually until now I cant seem to perfect it and I think that is normal.
I lost a lot just trying to make it better with my trading skills but there are times when something gets wrong all of a sudden.
It is way too different when I was trading with commodities which I got used too. Tried to implement that with crypto and it failed.
So there will always be difficult times and a lot of lost before being good with this kind of trading.
He is right. You cant blindly trade and just let luck be the judge.
8516  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: July 16, 2017, 01:39:50 PM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

I also think like you. I still believe Bitcoin will increase in the future but I'm always worried someday it will go away, this can happen. But that is the future so no one knows what will happen. So now we should still make money from it

To be honest people are just panicked about the current situation and why they wouldn't be as they have put lots of money into it. I'm pretty sure bitcoin will last more than that as investors won't be tired of investing into it no matter what. Big alpha companies will keep forming to produce beta results and so on.

The fact that the mined bitcoins is not yet complete tells it all.
One more is the popularity of it.
It is hard to bring down something that have the support of the people. Add the value of it that grew this much.
Way too different with the altcoins that lacks support and lacks investors.
8517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to attract investors (500 BTC) for new betting concept on: July 16, 2017, 10:00:50 AM
Hello,

We are about to launch our site/game and will give and update here very soon.
In order to organise our future growing:
Do you know good advertising channels (sites, blogs,...) where they accept gamble-related advertisers?

We will start small, but it's good to know where to advertise when things proof to be working.

Ty

Hello there.
You are already here in this forum so why not start here with your advertising campaign.
You could hire some people to spread the news about your gambling site through social medias.
Twitter and Facebook campaign are a good way to start it.
This could be cheaper than what will you spend paying a spot in one blog.
Plus, it will be a an everyday movement unlike with a blog where it is just input there where only people following the blog will see it.
Try it. Then you could see if it is worth it or not. Then you could stop.
8518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: July 16, 2017, 08:42:35 AM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
No! its not too late to buy bitcoin especially the price now dropped below 2000$, so it's a better chance for us to take advantage the cheap
price value of bitcoin at the present time now. For us to encounter big profit of bitcoin if we buy a huge of it.

I would not recommend that for now.
There will be an upcoming changes so it would rather just stay and be on hold.
The price might change more thinking people might withdraw with the panic that is happening.
So it may come to a lower price which is a better time to buy.
But it could be after August 1 when everything is doing fine with bitcoin to avoid errors with the funds.
8519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin market crash on: July 16, 2017, 07:04:12 AM
You guys are hilarious.  It's like you're all in denial.  Bitcoin has just lost MILLIONS of dollars and you're on here saying "don't panic, stay calm, everything is going to be fine..".  Exactly when should we panic??  When it drops another thousand?  So you're excited that it's dropping huh?  Great, show me the receipt of the huge amount of bitcoin you bought today??  Didn't think so.

To everyone who's reading this because they too are pissed at Bitcoin falling nearly $1k in a month:  Take what these people say on here with a HUGE grain of salt.  They don't have some special future-knowing abilities that the rest of us don't have.  Bitcoin had never been up that far in value so be very weary of anyone who talks about what it's doing now as if it "happens all the time".  This HASN'T happened all the time.  This is all brand new.  Every day that goes on is a day that we've never been to before.  I sold my bitcoin today because I'm tired of being raped while the price continues to drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop, drop.  And guess what it'll do tomorrow??  Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop....and then a little more....more...more....drop a little more....drop again...drop...drop... WAIT....we're not done.... DROP DROP DROP....    I undertand Bitcoin has volatility and I was fine with that.  But a $1k drop in a month isn't volatility, that's called a bursting bubble.  Maybe Bitcoin will come back, it very well could, and if so then when the price starts going back up you can always buy again.  Sell your position now and save yourself some of the agony that almost certainly is coming in the next few weeks because I highly doubt it's going to be going up in that time.  Oh and don't read articles expecting to have someone tell you what will happen with Bitcoin.  I've read so many and people will tell you that the price is uncertain because of some buffalo farm in Africa did something.  NOBODY KNOWS what the market will do.  It's just that simple.

Look at yourself. You are the one who is funny.
You just invested when? Yesterday? Last week?
Now your bragging about what you bought and never even waited for a long time.
A lot of people here have succeed because of their patience. And do you know how hard it is to take that patience into another level?
For me that is hardcore thinking they have been through a lot of ups and downs just for the belief that it will still go up.
Now you are crying there just for a week or 2?
From $350 (where I started) and to this price. That is way a lot of difference.
You can look at the graphs to see it.
You want easy and fast money then you can gamble it. Pfft.
8520  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN will BTC rise again and WHY? on: July 15, 2017, 05:06:31 PM
Ive been watching the markets sence bitcoin was 150$/BTC, i have been promoting bitcoin and the use of it for a long time, but why should BTC ever rise again? There have been a peak thru overbuying and now somebody has to pay = coin value drop.

Hard fork, soft fork doesnt matter the value wont rise above 2k$ again?
It wasnt meant to?

I have not sold my Coins but i dont believe in 4-10-100 000$ /BTC

Hello. It is stil way above $2k as of now. Why are you saying that if you stated that you have been watching and promoting it.
Are you telling a bullsh!t to just create a thread or are you really a supported just not monitoring it really?
It can go beyond that and we will see that. For now, there are issues because of the fork and too many are in a panic but that doesnt mean it will end up staying with one price.
It will still move as long as there will be buyers and sellers. That is how bitcoin gets its value.
