8561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 14, 2017, 02:12:59 AM
It aint. It tool a long time for the holders to feel this large scale now and it is not just about time also.
The effort they took into spreading the news about bitcoin so that investors would come in.
Maybe we should go back and view how they are all down with just how much per bitcoin is against what they will pay for mining it.
Sure it is easier to mine before because there is not much traffic but they will still pay the bill for electricity for what? Cents?
Now it is all here and can you still say that is instant?
8562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do males make up 97% of the Bitcoin community? on: July 13, 2017, 07:17:12 PM
Wee, it is always the tech guy that is being called or whom we will be expecting when we call a technician. Not the tech lady.
I did attend a class before with 40 students and only 2 were girls.
That is what you expect with a computer technician or computer engineer course.
Bitcoin is the same. It needs more information that is too deep for others to understand it very well.
We could explain a shallow meaning but still that will not be enough.
8563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price fluctuation on: July 13, 2017, 02:54:43 PM
It is just the buy and sell my brother. Nothing else.
Same with altcoins. The more buyer the merrier.
The more who sells the price falls like a landslide.  Undecided

I think it is not different with commodities on how they fluctuate too.
8564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bitcoin Shitcoin on: July 13, 2017, 09:55:49 AM
Could end up getting worse then sh1t really happens.
Okay someone says the ETH split was one example which was a success.
But this is bitcoin we are talking about and is getting more valuable everyday.
Now, what could happen? Could there be a large scale of price fall or will it lead to a rise (which I doubt now).
They all want the number 1 because of the money residing in it.
8565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 13, 2017, 09:17:17 AM
I think I have asked something about this before at some thread.
Then, i am answered.
He says we dont need to be scared of the fork. It will go back to normal and we dont need to sell our bitcoins for precaution.
Just keeping your bitcoin in an offline wallet then everything will be alright.
Sorry I cant find the post to quote him. So I just summarized it.
8566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 12, 2017, 06:46:23 PM
Yes, bitcoin is the new value of currency in the internet. We already can use it to buy foods and etc. But, i don't think bitcoin become a money in terms of hard money like dollar in a short time. Everybody still hope bitcoin can provide the best as the currency of a new era.
Yes we can use bitcoin to buy goods and services on internet also shops are accepting bitcoin.
Bitcoin can become the new era of currency , because every day many new people accepting bitcoin  as currency.
simply bitcoin change how people think about the money , bitcoin gives you a convenience to transact with anyone , anytime with better system compared to conventional money. bitcoin are the next generation of money , the next generation of banking system. we just need to be patient and the time would come sooner or later.

Yes thats it!
Patience. Sadly many of bitcoin users are in a hurry to prove that bitcoin is a currency.
They want it now which if forced will just male it worse.
Nothing great is done with haste. It must be polished slowly to make it perfect.
For now, the best thing to do is hoard more bitcoins and just wait for that celebrating moment of all currencies.
8567  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is money, everything else is credit. on: July 12, 2017, 04:29:50 PM
Somehow it makes sense but there is still a dent with it being called as money.
Can it buy something? I mean purchasing at a grocery, let us say Walmart?
People tend to look at money if it can be used to buy something or to trade it for an object or a necessity.
If it cannot be proven like that then what else would they see bitcoin as?

Just an investment. Why? It is just stucked in the wallet. Wallets which they see like banks who store money.
8568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 12, 2017, 11:43:25 AM
Hey guys you got to admit it Minnesota Timberwolves had the best offseason so far in the NBA.

Notable Acquisitions:
Jimmy Butler
Jeff Teague
Taj Gibson
Jamal Crawford
Justin Patton

Notable Player Losses:

Zach Lavine
Kris Dunn

The team has added players that give them a tremendous upgrade on both the defensive and offensive end. Not to mention adding a multiple sixth-man of the year awardee with Jamal Crawford our bench will help the scoring and defending process while the starting five is resting. Aside from that the Wolves are not yet finish adding pieces they still need to add another back up point guard and 2 wing players.

Holy Mother of Christ!!!
This is not an All-Star line up but will definitely give a hard time to the Cavaliers and the Warriors.
Oh. Jamal. My favorite player of all time. With the shake and bake it will definitely give a lot of offense for the Wolves. Then Butler, this is going to be a crazy season.
8569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: July 12, 2017, 05:11:32 AM
Keep holding it until you make money may seem like a silly way to do it, but it works.
Even now with the dropping price I presume anyone who holds on for a few more years will see a great return on their investment.
See 2013 peak took a while but those peak positions are still well into ROI.

Works like a charm. ROI will always be there plus more with just patience.
Dont be down with the simple fall of a hundred dollars which is just normal with bitcoin price.
Being optimistic with bitcoin is the only way to make profit out of it.
Those who have a weak heart cannot take it thinking with just a mere fall they will withdraw already. Just like what is happening now.
8570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 11, 2017, 07:55:03 PM
Both parties are just making money and people are biting into it.
This will just be a show and those two are just artists now specially that pretty boy Floyd.
Do you really think that the Boxing Association will just let it be like that considering McGregor is from the Octagon.
This two sports are different and it is not good to make them fight.
MMA will be losing a lot of fans with this event.
8571  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Legendaries from signature campaigns on: July 11, 2017, 05:51:33 PM
We have moderators here right?
I think they are doing their job in keeping this forum clean.

But why fire to the legendary users when signature campaigns are the ones who wants to accept them?
They even made an effort to create a signature code for them.
Well, they have options to not accept legendary users if they want to. (Maybe you could talk to every campaign manager or dev for that).  Grin

Ain't it going to be more chaotic if they are not accepted?
They have the possibility to just create another account just for the purpose of joining signature campaign and again and again.

Oh and there is this blacklist by the managers now so it is not that easy to join when every campaign is using this SMAS list.
So cheer up. Everything is good.
8572  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL on: July 11, 2017, 12:18:42 PM
Oh yeah!  Grin
Just keep on hodling on.  Grin

Another strikes up there telling he will be resting while bitcoin is crashing.
Guess what!?? You might also take off your head to the regret you will have if ever it goes up.
And I dont think you will buy again seeing how expensive it is after that rise.
8573  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: July 11, 2017, 05:18:26 AM
No it can't. It was not designed that way. Had it been then casinos everywhere would shut down. Infact they wouldn't be around to begin with.  They will have all lost their money to long term gamblers. It just wouldn't make sense if gambling were profitable in the long run. You wouldn't have anywhere to gamble had that been the truth.
but i think it is different from person to person, as here in my area there are some people whose  income is only from gambling, they are even supporting their families with the income that come from gambling. therefore gambling can also be profitable in long term but not for everyone. in fact those peole who have good luck can make a lot of money from bitcoin. becasue for most of the gmabling games we are depending on our luck. so if we are lucky we will surely make money in gambling.

Surely that is not just luck based if they have been doing it for a long time. What game are they playing?
I have a guess that it will be poker.
Poker needs some skill and you wont get to the final 2 without having it.
Luck is just an addition to this game. Even with bad pair of cards you could somehow take over the table and win it.
Somehow there are people who spend their life on knowing how the game circulate.
8574  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be Careful With Pumping Groups on: July 11, 2017, 01:28:08 AM
I was once invited by this kind of group too.
It is so good to be true that you will smell it is fishy.
Yes there might not be a registration payment but the fact that you will buy the coin that they will be pumping is where you will lose it.
It is a selfish move by the leader which have the highest amount and the one who will make a profit out of it.
I would rather invest in bitcoin which they cant pump just like that except they are a group of millionaires.
8575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alts fall, Bitcoin falls ... where is the money going? on: July 10, 2017, 07:59:15 PM
Question is did they make a profit out of it or is it just a mere speculation again because of the August scare?
They might be hoarding a lot of USD now making ready for a big fall which I dont see will happen just like that.
Another story which somehow fails again and again.
If only there was a betting site into where bitcoin will be really going then I would bet up again.
No doubt it will.
Those who sold even their altcoins. Better see to it that you made the right choice.
8576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: July 10, 2017, 04:50:31 PM
You must first start by accepting the fact that it aint going to be easy now.
Maybe you could go to the altcoin section and be a bounty hunter before you could get a fair amount of bitcoin.
There are limited areas to which you could join campaigns or other services since you are a newbie.
You must first create a good background before they will accept you.
8577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What could possibly go wrong? Please, tell me :) on: July 10, 2017, 12:53:54 PM
First of all, why would you make a bot of a poker game?  Huh
That is a game of thinking and strategy not just a dice game.
You will only lose more doing this.
Just play the game and enjoy it. That wont work and more likely your opponents will see it.
8578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: July 10, 2017, 08:34:28 AM
More fair than before which takes a high cost for every transaction. Low amount or high it doesnt change except if you use wallets which have options to change it.
Good thing this happened before more users will stop into using bitcoin.
The lower the fee the better or else they will use those money transfer companies that offers low fees.
8579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: July 10, 2017, 06:34:19 AM
Since there is a lot more to be mined.
I am expecting it will spike in value as it goes down.
If another halving will happen then it will be a large possibility for the price increase considering the miners will need to pay their bills. At lease, the price could pay up all of that and there will be profit also from mining. So maybe a double in price again.
8580  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: July 10, 2017, 03:39:17 AM
You sure think way too far from the life now.
Not everyone wants to be rich. Some just wants comfort with their life where they could afford food and shelter everyday.
No one will be called rich if there will be no poor people. So we have to be thankful to them and just give them comfort with their lives with simple helpful hands.
I found that those who are living with just an a simple life are happier than those who are rich who dont even know their goals in life.
