Hello Cannacoin! Grin

Not to come in here and attract all the great karma you are getting from everyone! lol  Wink No, but on a serious note great to see all the strides you have done from one coin dev. to another great job! I can relate to be a lightening rod for the good and the bad no doubt...

So your asking why the hell is DopeCoin here ? LOL ...

I'll get straight to the point. What happened to Cannapay ? I remember you gave us access to the beta and ( had planned to list us ) just was checking back in to see how things are going. Hope all is with for you the team and 2015 should be a great year!  Grin

Love & Peace & Weed
DopeCoinDude

Cannapay is still currently running in closed beta but Im working to bring it public soon.  I will have details in the coming weeks regarding the public beta, stay tuned.

-Sub

Thanks for the response Sub! Looking forward to it. If you can e-mail when its up! like to take it for a spin. dopecoin@gmail.com  Thanks, bud!  Grin

It's great to see two coin developers who can appreciate the work they do, even if they are in some ways competing for a similar market.  Kudos to Dopecoin.

I am not in a place where CANN can be used.

Neither is anyone who doesn't live in Phoenix and doesn't want a pre-roll of shake.

Special thanks to Kassado from the Rubycoin project including CCN in their mobile wallet.  Can't wait to check it out when it's ready!

what do miners have to look forward to?

http://ccn.multipoolmining.com/

I won't speak for the dev team but I would add that switching to proof-of-stake is no small task. Only one other coin has ever done it and it took them several months with many volunteer developers (RDD).  So far, CCN is the only other coin to successfully transition from a fully proof of work coin into a proof of stake coin.  CCN built multiple testnets to ensure a smooth transition without so much as a hiccup on the network.

Just confirming that would be 12pm EST, not 10.  Correct?

Wow, I was way off.  Actually 3pm PST would be 6pm EST.   Tongue

Hah, indeed. I was only off by 6 hours.  Embarrassed

We have decided to schedule a community/investor/developer meeting to bring everyone together to discuss future projects and why we need everyone's help to accomplish some big goals.  This will be an exciting meeting and we have it tentatively planned for Sunday December 7th at 3pm Pacific US. (10pm Eastern US)

Sounds good. Will this be on IRC? I'd like to be involved but will be in the office at that time, so restricted to using IRC or similar.

Very interesting indeed! I'd also like to know where the meeting is to be held. =D

The meeting will be held as a "conference call" using Mumble.  People will also be welcome to use TokeTalk.Net at the same time for video streaming but it's not required.

I will have more info about this later today.

Thx

Just confirming that would be 12pm EST, not 10.  Correct?
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CCN] - Cannacoin - PoW to Proof-of-Stake Velocity - 0% Premine on: November 26, 2014, 10:28:42 PM

CannaCoin is looking really good. I did some research and from what I found, CCN has the connections to do something huge in this industry.

This is the #1 crypto in this niche market but not highly valued yet. Right now is an amazing time to get in if you don't have any CCN. CCN price dropped 80% so grab lots of them today and get active in the community.

This is the "marijuana coin" for everyone to get behind. 0% premine. No ICO. No manual coin swap scam (a.k.a. devs steal coins from everyone and then gives some back). No instamine. Multiple devs. Third party support. And best of all, the marketcap is like that of a brand new coin.

I agree, best kept secret in crypto right now.

If POS is not designed to reward stakeholders, then why did cann even include it, and why in gawds earth did they choose the worst POS ago (POSV) at the lowest percent!??! @Canndevs: dont even bother.

To answer your questions: My POS wallets are unlocked 24/7

Vegas

This is CCN, you've got the wrong coin.

Voted and spent all my cryptsypoints on it.  Cryptsy loves coins with innovative features, I'll send a tweet their way also.

Thirded.  Best developer IMO.
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing the Crypto Vigilante Group - it's a scam. on: October 24, 2014, 04:55:23 AM
I reported this CryptoVigilanteGroup and their hopes to spread DOX info to the moderators.  The dev Delta9 got his hand caught in the CANNdy jar and exposed as a fraud.  Get over it and start over on your next PnD off-the-shelf shitcoin.  I'm sure your 20 bitcointalk propaganda accounts can be repurposed for some other scam.  Leave real coins like CCN alone who did nothing but ask a few questions.

For anyone who wants to know what this is all about:

878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing the Crypto Vigilante Group - it's a scam. on: October 24, 2014, 04:32:09 AM
Ha.   It's funny that he is looking for DOX information on the Cannacoin guys who did nothing but expose the CANN pre-mine scam.  Sour grapes, much?

Should we remind everyone that this "FUD campaign" resulted in the accused having to burn 14 million coins he was caught lying about and another 6 million he's still hiding?

Looks like the Crypto Vigilante Group is nothing more than the CANN bagholders club whose dev was caught embezzling funds.

Proof

879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CCN] - Cannacoin - CannaPay - Cannabis Community Network - CannaShares! on: October 24, 2014, 12:03:42 AM
Both communities are screwing each other, congrats. When we stop acting like children rooting for their favorite baseball team, maybe we'll start attracting additional investment.  I own stakes in both coins, I'm embarrassed by the behavior of both communities. I know, 'you're a fuder', 'screw you', etc.. etc..   I understand there's legitimate concerns from both communities, copy/pasting charts over and over again doesn't help anyone.

You're essentially scaring off the investors and only securing the hardcore follower. You'll do what you want, it's just a shame.  If I was one of the developers of the newer coins that are now slapping us all around in market cap, I'd have a good laugh.  The more fighting, the more profit their communities will realize.  Complaints are fine, accusations are fine, acting like kids is not profitable.  I'm not looking for friends, I'm not screaming $5 coins, I'm here for investment.

I understand these communities are driven by very smart individuals, most probably still in their early 20s as a whole. It's expected but a damn shame we're destroying ourselves.  I love what Cannapay is doing in the development side of the house, I love how CannabisCoin is at least hosting events.  Please think about the moderate investors, people with actual money that both communities are scaring away.  I said my peace, I'm sure bold letters and endless graphics will still commence. Shitcoin this, fudder that. Is this the image we want to draw in investors?  Not pump and dumpers, but actual investors.

Some communities never learn. The ones that do, well, they remain in the top 10, top 15.

You sound like a very reasonable investor.  I would consider myself that, also. It's just that I have happened to get to know this CCN team very well over the last several months and they are now more like a family to me.  I invite you to check out some of the communities build around Cannacoin, either via IRC (#Cannacoin), reddit (r/cannacoin), or NWGT.org.

I have been involved with several coins, including other cannabis related coins.  Subcreative and the CCN team is a very honest and welcoming community, perhaps to a fault.  The developers also believe strongly in the principles that Satoshi laid out which includes transparency in the blockchain.   It's a shame that all of this fighting had to occur.  CCN would rather not have to be the messenger to expose the 18m hidden coins, but that's just the way it has played out.  Either way, it was not to score points or somehow make people think CCN was better. To be completely honest, when CANN was skyrocketing it was much better for CCN because a rising tide lifts all boats.  We experienced much higher prices as a result, but that has never been the focus of Cannacoin.

In the end, what's right is right, and the team felt the need to ask these questions. I believe, looking back, everyone will agree it was the right call to make despite the temporary blow-back it has caused.

880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CANN]Cannabis Coin Pre-Mine Transparency Discussion on: October 23, 2014, 11:02:43 PM

I'm sure the majority of Microsoft shareholders could care less 30 years later that Bill Gates and Balmer lied to IBM and bought DOS for a few thousand dollars and flipped it for millions.

Bill Gates and Ballmer would be in jail if they did what Delta9 did, despite the fact that it's "their creation".

Many founders of companies are sitting behind bars today because they willfully hid money from investors or tax collectors.  This is no different.
