reactivated login..

it is now almost 1am here and i had a hard day.
Wasnt able to solve the Exchange stuff yet (rewriting it currently from scratch).. will do that tomorrow with more free time on my hands... But i solved a dozen other bugs i found along the way (yaaay....)

Deposits and Withdrawals are still deactivated, sorry for that inconvenience. If you want your BTC back until everything is solved just leave me a message, but i hope you trust me enough to not want some refunds now..
862  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner.eu - Release Candidate! on: December 19, 2011, 03:29:49 PM
1) Added a twitter account - you can find it while searching for "virtualminer"
2) Fixed the balance problem.. was a stupid mistake of mine when opening the website..forgot to set the balance of new users to 0...
3) Withdrawals and Deposits will be reactivated tonight
4) Exchange "broken" - working at it.
5) There is a bug when adding a BTC address, working on that right now (in order to reopen withdrawals and deposits later)
6) Resolution. Gonna add some... system to align the icons better to the systems screens resolution.. currently it is optimised for 1680x1050 which is not everyone's screen..

7) Issuing shares sounds nice.. maybe i do that later
863  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner.eu - Release Candidate! on: December 18, 2011, 07:07:31 PM
Deactivated Deposits and Withdrawals and restored all balances to what you have deposited till now.. found a major flaw in the registration any payment system (Dont ask me why i havent found this before). Thing just is that i am not even remotely close to my dev machine and fixing this via Cellphone might take longer than just to wait till tomrorow to fix it when i am back home.

Till then any deposits and withdrawals are deactivated.. gonna fix it tomrorow.
864  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner.eu - Release Candidate! on: December 18, 2011, 10:54:02 AM
Have been trying to login but i can't, also the password reminder isn't working, it just reloads the homepage when i try to login.
I expected my account had been deleted (again, cant remember what the reason was before but it's in this topic somewhere) but i cannot sign up again as that also just reloads the homepage =/

I sent you a private message...

As for the "page reload bug" - can someone confirm? Since the "RC" Launch i have had a few user registrations, so it SHOULD work (i would be surprised if not..), still i would like to know if someone can confirm that.

Oh.. and i will be home by 19/12/2011 (CET) again to write a few things (Password reminder etc). Should finally find some time to do that kind of stuff then.
Major plans are now to set up some user managment things (Password reminder, change pass etc) as well as finishing alerts.. Might add some Twitter account to keep those interestered updated on the progress.

I would ask everyone NOT TO DEPOSIT any more BTC at the moment, there is some Problem with the DB i cannot solve right now!, but i have all your deposits saved so i can refund if wanted. Currently my "user balance" is off by a magnitude of 10.. so might be some people have balances on their account of like 10 Bitcoins although only 1 has been deposited. I will look into this asap. In case i cannot solve this i am able to trace back your deposits and what you "paid" in case you want a refund (i wouldnt complain, but it'd be nice if you could trust me on solving this..).
865  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner.eu - Game now BETA on: December 17, 2011, 01:27:36 AM
TO not to have sort of Duke Nukem Forever feelings i opened the page in its current state for "real" gameplay.
There are still a few things i want to add but cant find the time right now (due to working on my master thesis) but which will be added when i find the time.
So .. i think the came can be considered a release candidate for the next few weeks...

Not much has changed for the user since the last experience - except that now Bitcoin deposits and Withdrawals work ;0)
I tested it with a few transactions already and it looked right..

Also, all users that were playing the game so far kept their full equipment, yet of course no coins or even BTC.. Currently there are 0 chains - so be sure to be the first to start the whole stuff!
..oh, and spread the word, such a game only makes sense when people play it ,0)

Great Service :0)
867  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] ATAVRSBIN1 or similar on: December 13, 2011, 02:15:50 PM
*bump*

Last seller seemed not to be willing to use an escrow service... So.. current "bid" is 20btc for the AVRSBIN1 part - i would use BTCcrow and pay, of course, all fees involved.
868  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin als Zahlungsmethode akzeptieren - techn. Fragen on: December 08, 2011, 08:57:36 PM

Fragen on: December 07, 2011, 10:17:04 PM
Hallo,

So one guy has at least 50% of litecoins mining/?  crazy

Is that so?

I only heard that theory from Coinhunter and i wouldnt believe him right away if he claimed the heaven was blue or rain being wet..
That BigCPUMiner guy has a nice chunk but thats nothing like 50% of the networking power from my estimates...

But nice to see that no Solidcoin fanboy wants to bet against us. Easy money to be made guys..

As discussed in the previous discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=53595.msg641153#msg641153) some people are willing to provide Bets  on the safety of Litecoins.

Since some friends SolidCoin still see a 51% attack coming and want to save us from loosing all our pain of loosing hard earned money i will make it easier for all of us.
Like in a bounty thread i will collect bets here:

We bet pro or contra the following thesis:

Litecoins will not be 51% attacked until January 5th 2012.

The Date is chosen since it is one month ahead.
The winning party will split the opposing parties bitcoin among them at the same ratios they put bets in (so if everyone is betting 1 BTC, everyone will get the same amount of the opposing bets.. if one bets 2BTC and four people 1BTC the one with 2BTC gets one third of the opposing Coins etc..)

Bets in favor of Litecoin:
- Nachtwind 5BTC
- Explodicle 10BTC

Bets against Litecoin:
- noone?

873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 04, 2011, 10:02:13 PM
I don't know about litecoin, but I have mined about 10 blocks of ioc and none have shown up in my wallet.  The connections drop from 3 then rise to 8 as a fluctuation.

Umm... yes. That is LTC related. No?
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 04, 2011, 06:49:47 PM
The unknown part of the litecoin mining power is still at 80% . This kind of "unknown" amount mining a coin is quite unheard of. The fact some people here laugh it off like it's nothing to worry about it is quite concerning.

If i remember correctly the "dick" had an almost equal level of dominance on SC2 until it got turned off/went away/wasnt payed any longer.

Might ask, why went it away? Didnt you need it  botnet any more to keep the price stable at the subsiedy cut? Its dissapearance was yet another nice coincidence, wasnt it? It left after SC was changed to 5CPB... all those mysteries arround that Scamcoin are also dead obvious and if true something never happened and far worse than a possible 51% attack..
875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 02:38:47 AM
Let's put our money where our mouths are. 10 BTC says no 51% attack on Litecoin before the next SC2 patch. Any takers?
Adding 5BTC to it.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 01:47:16 AM
So the same threat exists in Bitcoin. The same solution exists in SolidCoin.
The threat exists but is highly unlikely whereas Solidcoin has been through massive changes already that have been basically what you have said above..

I understand people don't like others having "control" over something,
Absolutely right, espeically if one cannot trust those in control.

but we have goals in SolidCoin that we want to achieve, we're against the banks as they exist today and we're against governments impinging on our freedoms.
Propaganda parade..

If you agree with those 2 main things you can be safe in knowing where we are going with SolidCoin, the rest are just small details which should be sorted out by "someone". Smiley
Details like those in "control" own most of the coins - but not as in bitcoin by investing into it but by simply being those in control? Or details like having a fork that got hacked/explolited already a few times? Or simply the detail that scamcoins only exist due to the agressive nature of its marketing/propaganda?
877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 01:30:59 AM
wow... CH.. speaking of "trust"... that feels..wrong..
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 01:19:45 AM
You're not secure from 51% as it won't be long before we have a trusted node online that you can't control.

Also the only proof we have that any coins are "unspendable" is your word.

Well besides my word and those of other core SolidCoin people, there is also the source code. Even makomk could tell you they are unspendable, just give him a PM.

which means they are still unspendable.
I think other aspects of the fork were also changed after its creation...
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 12:58:25 AM
And SolidCoin wasn't "pwned", if it was it wouldn't be around still. It's funny how much some of you seriously hate SolidCoin and want it to die, ever since day 1. Just accept the fact it will be the #1 coin soon.

Quote of the day..

I imagine some German politicians saying the same about their party in the past...

OF COURSE NOT THAT AUSTRIAN!
i mean someone else... Westerwelle Tongue
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin 51% attacked? on: December 03, 2011, 12:34:08 AM
*not reading more than the first post now*

Sorry CH but i am getting sick here right now.
So.. after finally someone find an exploit in the SC code (again.. wasnt there someone changing timestamps in order to toy with the diff?) you "warn" people not to go to the other mentionable altchain because a hack there "was imminent"?

God.. soneone so connected to Solidcoin and its various "strange" surroundings (The "dick" that obviously mined a large chunk of the early coins.. the dissapearance of the "dick" and the ddos on BTC pools at the same time...) shouldnt accuse anyone of anything. So far cobllee has done everything as transparent as possible and i's say that there is just a botnet running those whatnot many %, since LTC is just more profitable right now than SC is.. and for many people just more dependable.. as for Botnets.
If you set a few thousand computers onto a chain you have to know that the chain is stable and wont have a subsiedy cut just because some dev had a hickup or so..
