Appreciate the article. I've been hearing that casino play is way up since the Covid pandemic as people are spending more time than ever online, and hoping to get lucky and win some money while business is slow. Have you guys at bitcasino.io noticed a big uptick in new playership?

Thanks for the comment, BrianZAK.

As a matter of fact, the whole online casino industry has seen quite a huge growth in playing during the lockdown, and so have we here at Bitcasino.

868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: June 01, 2020, 07:12:30 AM
Hi guys Smiley

Thank you all for your thoughts.
So far we have partnered with charity programs and made our contribution through those organizations.
My idea here when starting the topic was to create a Donate button on our casino site where you can choose yourself which organization would you like to make the donation to (like your unused loyalty points or some % of your winnings).

Cheers,
Karl

870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Would you donate in a casino? on: May 29, 2020, 09:28:29 AM
Hi guys Smiley

Even though many countries have reopened borders and people are getting back to work in the offices, the complicated time isn’t over yet and the risk is still high.
There are several organizations where you can make your efforts by donating.
We here at Bitcasino have teamed up with some of the charity giants and in collaboration have run loyalty points donation campaign and charity poker tournaments.

So my question here is, if you are a person who is willing to donate, what choice would you rather use:

  • Participate in special charity programs or
  • Have a permanent possibility to donate straight on the casino site?

Cheers,
Karl

876  Economy / Gambling / Bitcasino.io — 💜Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day 💜 on: May 22, 2020, 10:29:43 AM
Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day Smiley

Today is the 10 year anniversary of the first Bitcoin transaction, in which Laszlo Hanyecz paid for two pizzas with the cryptocurrency.

May 22nd has become part of folklore, not because of the transaction, but more the price:
the man paid for the two pizzas 10,000 Bitcoins, which today is worth $83 million Smiley

Here are approximate prices of Bitcoin over the years on May 22nd and the value of 10,000 Bitcoin:

2010 BTC price: Under 0.0092  = €92
2011 BTC price: €6.14  = €61,400
2012 BTC price: €4.68 = €46,800
2013 BTC price: €113 = €1,130,000
2014 BTC price: €482 = €4,820,000
2015 BTC price: €220 = €2,200,000
2016 BTC price: €402 = €4,020,000
2017 BTC price: €1,995 = €19,950,000
2018 BTC price: €7,381 = €73,381,000
2019 BTC price: €7,049 = €70,049,000
2020 BTC price: €8,350 = €83,500,000

And here is Laszlo's Bitcointalk thread from 10 years ago: Pizza for Bitcoins?
Shall we bring it alive again?

Have a great weekend Wink

There are thousands of slots in casinos from different developers. It is quite hard to choose …

How do you choose which one to play? By best-known developers, most popular, high RTP-s, min bets?

880  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io — 💜3,300 FREE SPINS every day! 💜 on: May 20, 2020, 07:10:45 AM
Easier option would be to have a filter? I mean that way you can filter the games and put number between x and y to see all the games between those prices. Let's say you do not have too much money and you want to see games that are between 0-1000 satoshi per bet right? You put it in the filter and all the games (not just slots, not just dice, nothing only alone, I mean ALL games) shown so that you can pick it between them.

If you only show the minimum amount per bet, we would still have to check one by one to see what we would like to play with. But if you have a filter, we would eliminate the other ones we can't afford automatically and would make our jobs to find a perfect one a lot more easily, at least according to me that is the way it would look better.

Thanks, davinchi

Yes, we are working on the filtering system as we speak Smiley
Will keep you posted.

Cheers,
Karl
