861  Economy / Services / Re: Bug Testers Needed [Paying Min. 0.002 per Bug] on: January 14, 2016, 01:08:10 PM
Found two bugs! Here are both the screenshots which I think should be enough to tell:

https://i.imgur.com/SAyqoC7.png

(The mouse over description of the tab is in BTC for all forms of units, mBTC, sat)

https://i.imgur.com/VkE4QBX.png

(The number entered can be more than 8 decimal places if you hold a number key long enough.)
Try making it such that it would strictly stop at 8 decimal places.

Also, make it such that characters other than number would not even be shown and allowed, hope this helps!

(I suggest adding a reference link for the bitcoin value over time, and add more options other than USD)

EDIT: Doing this for free, but you can give me suggestions to improve my site TipBits! Cheesy
862  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: new project (mining with free electricity) need investors on: January 13, 2016, 02:28:31 PM
It'll be better to start small, and if I have read correctly, is the cost of one miner around 2.5 btc? Hmmm, that seems like a large sum to start with though. So how are you planning to buy the miner, maybe through bitcoins? I am completely clueless when it comes to these mining equipment and the shipping process. This project is fairly ambitious, like you said, it has high risks since the returns takes quite long, or is there any other lower cost ways to start off with, which would be better.

Mining is risky, so maybe one or two miners is good enough, especially since you said bitcoin is really popular there. Tongue
863  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: new project (mining with free electricity) need investors on: January 13, 2016, 01:42:50 PM
Honestly I would be difficult for us to invest in your project, since we are unsure of what we are investing in, and we wouldn't know the whole process of the setting up of the mining farm if you do. Unless you have a way of assuring you will set up the mining farm with our investments, and giving the investments profits, it is considered unsafe to invest into the unknown.

If you really want to start your own mining farm, you should have an amount of money to start with, and perhaps buy a few equipment yourself first, and slowly expanding, although it may not guarantee you investors. You have to understand you are asking strangers for investments, so it may be difficult. Not to dishearten you, I wish you luck, hope you are able to be the first BTC miner there. Smiley
864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Exchange cryptsy dies? on: January 13, 2016, 08:05:54 AM
....... I was using Cryptsy as a site to hold all my alt coins mainly Doge and Lite, and now what? There isn't much balance in there though, so now that Cryptsy is gone (most likely), what exchange site do we switch to? They sent an email saying you can claim your remaining balance at cryptsy-refund.com, but it doesn't work for me. :/

Hoping for the best, and hope not another site that turns out to be a scam.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A safty place to place all the money? on: January 12, 2016, 09:55:40 AM
Yea, I thought about this before, I guess if you want to play safe about having your bitcoins stolen one day, you can try storing your bitcoins offline with a paper wallet. Exchanging bitcoin to fiat is also a way too if you are afraid of bitcoin's volatility, like exchanging to Paypal, Skrill or other stuff, or even withdrawing through a BTC ATM. Smiley

Even though I have the same thoughts as you, I trust online wallets, and I dislike using other currency exchanging methods. Use multiple wallets to play safe too!
866  Economy / Services / Re: Free Simple Avatars! (And other Free Services) on: January 11, 2016, 01:26:53 PM

867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: idea of creating a bitcoin carnival. on: January 11, 2016, 01:11:13 PM
Hmm, I have no experiences is the cost managing and all, so I don't know the budget and expenses... Maybe since this is the first bitcoin carnival you're going to have, I think starting out small would be better, and it raises awareness of this bitcoin carnival thing, which should be the first goal. Smiley

Start of with a few cotton candy carts, ring toss, those typical games, but bitcoin themed. Like there could be a bitcoin plinko game, knock down the 'bitcoin', something like that. The admission fee should be low, or even free, to attract everyone's attention. It might be loss, since you have to set up quite a few stuff, and rent the land I guess.. Rides would be difficult, but it'll be nice if there was. Quite tough to make this a reality, hope everyone supports this!

870  Economy / Services / Re: Free Simple Avatars! (And other Free Services) on: January 09, 2016, 12:03:05 PM
TBH, that platypus avatar is dope! Which software you use to draw the avatar, paint or?
Hahaha, I found it quite out of shape though.  Grin I use sketch.io, an online paint software, and I quite like it, but a few flaws are that the floodfill may not be smooth, and the save file may be corrupted somehow (sighs). Here's the remains of MickeyMouse.

Using the touchpad to draw, hence the simplicity and out of shapeness. Smiley Glad you like it!

Edit: ↓↓↓ @Unread Sure thing, will send you a PM, so that you could give me a brief idea on what kind you want! Will take some time!
871  Economy / Services / Re: Free Simple Avatars! (And other Free Services) on: January 09, 2016, 08:06:06 AM

872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: idea of creating a bitcoin carnival. on: January 09, 2016, 07:15:54 AM
A Bitcoin carnival sounds interesting to me, where everything is bitcoin related. I agree that the admission price should be free, so that outside people can come take a look, and perhaps get interested in it too. Use the idea of buying tickets to play, where every ride/stall uses the tickets as the currency instead, maybe a limited bitcoin token will do too. Smiley

You should charge cheaper for the tickets for those who buy it bitcoin, and there could be rewards in the carnival too, like if you win a game you get 1 bitcoin reward token that can be used to exchange for more tickets, or real bitcoin!! This could be an incentive, to win, but make sure its not that easy! Tongue Supporting you for creating a bitcoin carnival, all the best!

876  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [WIP] Help me improve my new website! on: January 02, 2016, 08:24:14 AM
Perhaps you should try to use it yourself, both the rotators have ads covering the page, and one of the banners even cover the 'next' button, which isn't very user friendly. A dream faucet rotator would be one without ads and easy to use. Since ads/ref banners help earn some revenue, so there are so many of them, but you must think the long term. Smiley

Users that find your rotator clean and easy to use would bookmark it to use in the future, whereas unsatisfied users would not come the second time. I suggest you limit your ads to only one first, and make the faucet load a full page, because currently it is squeezed that you even have to scroll sideways. Make it a normal full page, and make sure the faucets are paying, and you're good. Cheesy Faucets aren't really rewarding, so making a faucet rotator won't get you much also, I've stop updating my faucetlists for a long time too.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Comic Strips on: January 02, 2016, 07:19:19 AM
Wow, your drawings are really amazing!! It's a pity that some of the early drawings frames are a little off.. Tongue Really like your drawing style, would be even better if the drawings were bigger!

Hope to see more of your drawings, and with your drawings you can even start a small blog about it! Cheesy The best thing about this is that it even teaches you a thing or so about bitcoin, interesting comic indeed! Smiley Smiley
878  Economy / Auctions / Re: 🌟 Advertisement Spots @ TipBits → From 0.00 BTC!! 🌟 2nd Time!! 🌟 on: January 02, 2016, 05:01:04 AM
Auction has ended! Made a mistake in my last post. Tongue

Edit: 468 x 60   @20000  Google+

PMs sent! If replies are not received from the users by the next day or so, the previous highest bidder will be contacted, and their banner would be placed instead.
879  Economy / Services / Re: Free Simple Avatars! (And other Free Services) on: January 01, 2016, 11:48:05 AM
Here's a really really simple avatar. Cheesy Would be better if you specified a certain color that you like so you would like it better. Hope this is what you want! (80px x 80px)

The following days I might not have enough time, especially weekdays, but let me know if you want one and I'll try to do one in the weekends!
880  Economy / Services / Re: Free Simple Avatars! (And other Free Services) on: January 01, 2016, 11:13:45 AM
