441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failure of trading on: July 25, 2018, 06:01:19 PM
Investing in crypto currency itself is very risky. We don't know exactly what will happen tomorrow. Of course, using technical analysis, knowing the news background and having common sense, we enter this game and participate in it quite successfully.
Personally, I have never had any losses. I believe that loss is when you sell your coins at a price that is lower than the purchase price. At this stage, I didn't use this method. My belief in crypto currency doesn't allow me to do this. And if there comes a time when I have to sell something below the purchase price, then it will be a loss, but I will try to make it minimal and cover with other profitable transactions so that my deposit will not suffer from it.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: July 24, 2018, 01:40:31 PM
If you are a newby - you will loose your money on day trading. Even successful day traders having winning-to-losing trade ratios not more than 65 percent.
What then are your suggestions? If a newbie can not do daily trading, then where does he get the experience that is so necessary when choosing coins for a long term trade. Of course there is an option to just buy an ether and bitcoin, but the author asks not about it. I think that a newbie need to do day trade, if he wants to understand the situation in the crypto market. Of course, for newbie, you need to practice at very small amounts. This practice will bring understanding of what is happening in the market, teach you how to read graphics and the order books. If you don't become a participant of this all, then I consider it impossible to become a trader in the full understanding of this concept.
443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading, whelp! Bot or human? on: July 24, 2018, 01:13:59 PM
Using a bot is not a bad idea. But with low interest rates when dealing with the bot I'm afraid it is not enough to make up for the money to buy bot, people make bot, do not change the market will burn the account
I think if the Bot is really good then the creator will use it for his own investment without sharing or selling to others because they are losing their income. I know a lot of people use Bot to invest but the end result is not good.
I completely agree. Think about it, what's the point of selling an excellent bot? Well, if you created it yourself and at any time you can fix something in it depending on how the situation in the market is changing. Then the bot will really help its owner. And if you buy a bot and at the same time don't know how it works and don't have the opportunity to fix something in it, then you immediately put yourself in a losing situation. Therefore, I don't recommend that you buy a bot.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading, whelp! Bot or human? on: July 23, 2018, 09:50:09 PM
During this time, many of us lost thousands of dollars. The most important thing is not to give up. Since the beginning of the fall of the market, I believed that everything will be fine in the summer and we will see new peaks. Therefore, at that time, I stopped trading daily. But since my deposit was decreasing, I was still nervous. So I started looking for new opportunities for earning. I began to study information about ICO. All this time I studied and tried to participate in various ICO projects, which gave me experience and the desired profit. So even in the hardest times for the market I was at a profit.
So the best advice that I can give you is don't start trading simply because you consider yourself a daily trader, or because of fear that your deposit is decreasing. These are the emotions and thoughts that many traders are amenable to. The trader must have patience and self-control. So STOP! Take a break, think, get distracted. You do not need trade bots, it's better to spend your time learning and in the future, you will not allow the mistakes you made. You got a very expensive lesson from the market, so draw conclusions and go further. And remember: invest the money that you are ready to lose!
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: July 23, 2018, 09:25:00 PM
I believe that it is good  daily trading and HODL. It all depends on what you are interested in. Of course, daily trading will give you great experience and a good understanding of the market. So you can practically feel it all. The HODL of good and promising coins is not as tense as daily trading. I personally began my journey in daily trading. Now I buy coins and HODL them until I see the price at which I am willing to sell them. But when it's time to sell them, I sit every day and study the situation on the market, evaluate it. After the sale I place orders for the purchase of the same coin at such low prices, for which I am ready to buy it back. That is, at this time I go to daily trading.
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who believes in HODLING? on: July 23, 2018, 09:12:33 PM
I also think that the HODL is not exactly what you need to go on regardless from circumstances. But you can consider this concept.
If HODL is about a year, then I am positive about this. For example, for those who entered on the market in late 2017 early 2018 and didn't sell their coins at once, the HODL is now the best strategy. Crypto market is volatile. But most of the coins will survive from what is happening all of 2018 and return back to the predicating marks and reach new heights.
Personally, I leave a small part of the profits in coins and don't touch them at all. I wonder how much they will cost in 2-3 years. This, too, is a peculiar kind of HODl.
So I think that HODL is neither good nor bad. Everyone chooses for himself this strategy depending on his circumstances.
447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading or Holding Cryptocurrency for long time on: July 22, 2018, 04:39:14 PM
From day to day the situation is changing, so it is difficult to give any specific advice on the trading strategy. I think that in this situation there are coins that need a long term trade, and there are coins for daily trading. Each will choose for himself these coins, depending on the overall situation and the specific day's situation.
It also matters whether you have the skills in trading or not.Because if you have, then i think you can engage in day trading as this will give you an immediate profit but demands more risks. You can also buy potential coins and hold them for months or even years until you see big profits ahead of you.
Yes I agree. Of course, skills in trade are of prime importance. They also help to determine in what situation how to proceed. Even experienced traders have coins for day trading and for long term trading. So buying coins only for hold does not make this purchase more secure. So how to determine what coins to buy for daily trading and for hold can only be a skill trader (what you wrote about)
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WT* is going on with alts ?? on: July 21, 2018, 09:17:17 PM
I agree with the opinion that money from alts is pumped to bitcoin. And the only thing I want, is that bitcoin is now falling back to 6.000, so that people would finally understand that the market of crypto-currencies - does not consist from only bitcoin. And it's silly to talk about decentralization, a free market, and lack of dependence, when the price of just one coin is able to crush down the entire market.
What I certainly didn't want, so that the price of bitcoin fell to $ 6000, this will further affect the price of altcoins. Their price will fall even lower.
And here we speak is not about decentralization or centralization. Yes, bitcoin affects the entire crypto world. But he deserved this right. This is the first crypto currency, which showed us all a new world and new opportunities. But even if bitcoin disappears, this doesn't mean that all the crypto currency will disappear. Bitcoin is the beginning, and the altcoins are its sequel.
If you are feel bad about  topic of crypto currency, and to people who believe in them, then you probably just don't belong here. Forum for those people who are interested in this topic and want to know more.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about holding a ripple for a year? on: July 21, 2018, 01:59:36 PM
It depends on whether you have a ripple or you are going to buy it. Personally, I do not hate this coin. On it, as well as on other coins it is possible to earn well. If the ripple was bought at a low price, then it might be worth keeping some coins for a year or some time. Perhaps a ripple will still show us growth. The crypto market is very influenced by the news and no one can say for certain that the ripple will not give us some great news and its price will not begin to climb rapidly.

451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss Trading on: July 20, 2018, 02:40:43 PM
Stop-loss is used when the price of a coin reaches the minimum acceptable price set by the trader. For example, you bought a coin X for 0.11 eth. After the purchase, you evaluated the situation and placed a stop loss (this is for sale) at 0.10 eth. This is a kind of insurance against the fact that the price will go even lower and you will be in a strong minus. Also there is a take-profit. It is used to fix profits.
Stop loss would always been helpful but still having a significant negative effects yet you cant able to recover back your loses specially when the volatility would spread up on bigger ranges where it can trigger up your stop loss frequently this is why I don't use it up but rather just letting the price do negative as deep as it can but this is risky and do really like gambling at all yet there are really times which you do really trust up coins potential. For swinging trades this is also a helpful tool.
I completely agree. My answer was about a question of what a stop-loss is.
Of course, to use this tool, you need to understand many points, know when to use it, and when not. Many traders lose when using stop-loss. Personally, I also use it only in certain transactions and only under certain circumstances. Therefore, I recommend to everyone and the author to start with a good understanding of different situations in the market and how these situations affect the price of coins. And only then start to use this tool.

453  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 09, 2018, 03:42:38 PM
Maybe you are right. I think the reasons for not using crypto very much. This is something that is so difficult to regulate. Governments have not yet figured out how to collect taxes from citizens for conducting such operations  Grin. But I firmly believe that in a few years many countries will use the crypto currency as their main currency.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 07, 2017, 03:12:32 PM
I'd say daytrading is very annoying, especially when you have to take high risks and end up bad. True that daytrading is like exploiting Bitcoin, that's why daytrading is a nicer term that we all use. Smiley  Roll Eyes Well, just hold on to your Bitcoins instead, if you respect and see its potential. No need to care about all the trouble of daytrading, just sit back and relax with your coins! Cheesy
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This concerns all Bitcoiners. Your privacy is in danger. on: December 02, 2017, 04:30:01 AM
Please read what I wrote. I said if it becomes a precedent for all governments to start doing the same, then it should be a cause for concern on all Bitcoiners.

If you thought that its isolated within those 14,000 Coinbase customers then you are very wrong. Thats only the beginning of the crypto inquisition.
I think you are right, we will eventually lose our privacy to the government... 14,000?? That may be very little compared to the amount of CoinBase users there are, but what do you think IRS is going to do with that? They are going to analyse, scrutinize, and very soon they will get the whole database, if not by force otherwise CoinBase has to shut down.

Privacy is only temporary now.. Sad
456  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OhMyCo.in - Real-time cryptocurrency market charts on: November 26, 2017, 01:05:08 PM
Real professional, really like this site. I suggest adding an alert function where you set your price and it can give a notification when that certain price is reached. Would help me a lot as I keep tabs open and do other work, so no time to check back regularly. Smiley

I think others have pointed this out also, that the scroll for the order book and trade history are not working perfectly, nothing else I can pick out honestly! Great site, and easy to remember too! Cheesy
457  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC at 9000! on: November 26, 2017, 12:29:03 PM
What a breakthrough!!! Never thought it would break the wall today!! Looks like Black Friday might have boosted Bitcoin a bit after all! Smiley

I'm predicting a slight crash now, then a spike there after, and will remain at 9000$ for some time. Bitcoin is going strong these few months, and hope this continues... Smiley It's over 9000!!!! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

NEXT STOP: 10K
458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creating the World’s First Bitcoin Wallet for the Blind on: November 26, 2017, 11:39:19 AM
Honestly, I see no point in this. What percentage of the population would use this? From a practical viewpoint, this does not seem like a need to them. I have to admit that this is still pretty cool, and I wonder how that works. I mean someone can just 'stalk' them and steal their coins anyways, let's see their mechanism behind this if it is successful...  Huh
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive Bitcoin Core smear campaign on reddit's r/btc on: November 26, 2017, 02:44:00 AM
Well, the thing is, don't fully believe what others say. Read what they say, and think about it and have your own stand. It is up to us to make the final decision anyways, so just do a little research, and do what you want.

I agree that Bitcoin is going strong now, best to keep it till next year, just my opinion. Smiley Of course it is still your own choice if you want to buy ETH, etc... Smiley
460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the hell is this worth more than gold and silver.. on: November 26, 2017, 02:39:49 AM
Can you hack a blockchain? No..
Anything humans made on this planet as far as software goes is 100% hackable.. This blockchain tech is 100% sentient.. It will hack you back if you try to hack.. Try it.. See what happens.. But I already know you have double digit i.q so I am not expecting an intelligent reply from you or most of the users on this forum.
Isn't this a good thing about Bitcoin? This makes us safe from regular thefts, or hacking of coins online, compared to PayPal accounts or even physical gold. In a way it provides security, or do you mean that we all might fall into this Bitcoin scam? Possible, but since it is decentralized and has no one controlling it, it is less likely for Bitcoin to turn to nothing overnight.

I know it is weird how a digital thing can be worth much more than gold, a scarce metal on this world, and perhaps this is a trend to buy Bitcoin. Why do we buy Bitcoin? Same reason, it is limited... as for its uses, it has potential on what blockchain can become, which you can think of too. Smiley
