861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex delisting 17 Altcoins on: April 19, 2017, 05:43:58 PM
The announcement made by Poloniex really made a huge impact on the price for most of them. BitStar ,SuperNet(Unity), ShadowCash which had a decent amount of trading volume is seriously dying and getting dumped. I believe that this is somehow the community fault because everyone prefer using Poloniex and there is no balance between exchanges which makes announcements like these screw things up.
862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: top internet mystery: bitcoin on: April 19, 2017, 05:00:42 PM
The video got published in 2016 and bitcoin came out in 2009. IMO, 7 years is more then enough for people to understand what is bitcoin is actually about and the way It works and If we exclude the fact that we don't know who the creator is, It shouldn't be considered as a mystery.
863  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A project to make profit and promote bitcoin? on: April 19, 2017, 03:18:04 PM
I think any Cryptocoin-Media starting now will be able to become big in the future cause more and more people find the BTC in theire lifes.
Blogs, News, Anything.

I know that this could be somehow profitable but there is definitely some competition in that area, besides, English is not my native language so I'm going to find a lot of difficulties competing with other blogs If I'm not writing a well written article.

Create an ad network.

I thought about that but there are plenty of them at the moment and I don't see how this could spread the world bitcoin, because unlike what other people think, advertisers today only target bitcoin related sites such as faucets, blogs, gambling sites and that will us nowhere.
864  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: April 19, 2017, 01:31:57 PM
coinizy  it's trustable ?

They are trusted but you should now that they are the service that support the least of countries, only 130 of them so check first If your country is supported then make an account otherwise you will face some issues and they also don't offer physical cards, only virtual ones which costs 0.50 USD.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 18, 2017, 06:01:45 PM
Where the exchange is located exactly? how come that fiat is accepted and there is no need for AML/KYC verification, I thought It's a must? It's very unclear as the About us page says based and fully regulated in your country while I'm almost sure that every country have Its own laws and I don't think It could be regulated everywhere.
866  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Alternative to xapo? on: April 18, 2017, 08:19:51 AM
Indeed Coinbase account is no longer offering paying the network fees unless you are making a transaction with another coinbase user. This changed a month ago along with other modifications which in my opinion make their service the worst. I would like to remind you about the problems they had with the IRS and their new verification process which require live webcam and on top of that, you don't even control your private keys. Go with GreenAddress If you need a web wallet, Electrum for desktop and Mycelium for Android/iOS.
867  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: April 18, 2017, 07:13:11 AM
Are you allowed to post an url when you're a junior member?

You can post links but sometimes they are likely to get tagged as suspicious links which will make them invisible for others. Until now, I'm not sure when they get tagged because even famous sites like Google forms or spreadsheet get that issue, I've seen this on people who make their ICO thread with a new account.
868  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: pls help. Coinizy.com does not accept my country on: April 18, 2017, 06:38:18 AM
You can't do much at this point, you must wait for their reply and since you didn't mention the country you live in then we can't give you an alternative because some countries are banned in all bitcoin debit card services. You could try and contact OP from the thread provided by the user above but I doubt you will get an answer has he hasn't been active since three weeks now.
869  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex turning into Mt. Gox? on: April 17, 2017, 07:00:40 PM
Let's hope not but we must be realistic a little bit here. It's not secret that It's not recommended to hold anything in exchange for a long period of time so It sort of the users fault unless It happened suddenly. It's being a few months since they got hacked and they got recovered like a week ago If IIRC as they have the necessary funds to pay the users back using the issued tokens, I doubt they will take the risk of playing around with their users, they could lose them once for all.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening in Africa? And what can we make happen? on: April 17, 2017, 05:58:08 PM
If there are some countries that you should set as a target then those will be Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt, not because they are one of the richest but because they are more opened to this stuff I believe. Bitwala.io made a interesting article a few days ago on how bitcoin became popular in North Africa.

I must tell you though as you might be able to use this in your advantage while making your service, I'd say that 99.99% of Algerians don't know the technical details about bitcoin, how it actually works and what it is precisely but they actually use it and they got to know it from services that offers bitcoin debit cards usually because here, verifying our PayPal account is a problem and those debit cards makes things easier.
871  Bitcoin / Project Development / A project to make profit and promote bitcoin? on: April 17, 2017, 04:30:09 PM
I was always thinking about doing some kind of project that could result in making some profit whether it's in fiat or bitcoin and also promote bitcoin Itself to people. I was thinking of creating a game, and adding it to both AppStore and Google play. I know the competition is tough but I thought of giving it a shoot anyway, what else could somebody do beside creating a game?
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: April 17, 2017, 03:50:26 PM
Now and I got my information's right about how staking/POS works, I'm curious to understand how this coin won't lose value If there is no maximum supply and people will be able to keep generating it forever? An infinite amount of coins won't make the value of the coin so small logically as It's based on supply and demand?
873  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E Suspended My Account For No Reason on: April 17, 2017, 02:57:55 PM
It's very likely that they locked or banned your account because they saw some suspicious activities. If you are the actual owner of the account, there is nothing to be worried about, they will eventually answer your tickets and resolve your problem. If they don't, then opening a scam accusation is your last resort.
874  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Virtual Card Needed With US Billing Address on: April 16, 2017, 07:03:19 PM
Hello,

I have been searching for virtual card that can be used to verify my US Paypal account but none of the card providers allow US residents to get their cards.

Is there any website that can help in this regards.

Yesterday i have followed a thread with a similar problem...
"Link coinizy visa card to paypal"
if your data are the same, i mean same name , surname and and everything else, i think, you can use coinizy and paypal toghether

Coinizy Visa card is compatible with PayPal indeed but the U.S is not supported as you can see on the front page. He could take the risk and do what he said but he should expect getting his funds frozen at any time with no possibility of getting them back.
875  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Understanding better 2FA use cases on: April 16, 2017, 06:14:39 PM
hum...
i don't see any 16 digit code after enabling 2FA on poloniex...
there are no option to recover this 16 digit code now???
Now all is setted fine.
I can access to my account with 2FA.

You don't see the 16 digits key after enabling the 2FA otherwise that wouldn't make any sense. This key is what makes you recover your account so you can't recover Itself. If you want to get the key then I suggest disabling your 2FA and while trying to enable it, you should have this page shown to you, the big square on the right is the QR code, under it is the 16 digits key that I'm talking about.
876  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gunbot trading bot on: April 16, 2017, 04:33:45 PM
yeah i agree, after seeing all the good feedback i decided to buy my license, i can say it is a very easy bot to use and telegram group is very active and helpful.
double thumbs up for such amazing bot Smiley

877  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Virtual Card Needed With US Billing Address on: April 16, 2017, 03:50:56 PM
I can't tell for sure If the card works for PayPal or not but If you are a U.S citizen then I highly suggest ordering either BitPay Visa card or the Shift card which is created by Coinbase. You may want to check the states where you this card is available though as laws in the U.S are very strict and not the same in all states.
878  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blocktrail.com | Wallet | Explorer | API on: April 16, 2017, 01:37:05 PM
Something is wrong by any chance? I just sent some funds to my other wallet using BTC.com web wallet, the fees are more then huge. It took 0.0045 BTC and that's about 5.19 USD with the current rates, I know It's based on transaction size but I'm sure It's not supposed to be that big unless the service is taking some fees too.
879  Other / MultiBit / Re: How to get funds out of Multibit Classic 0.5.19 on: April 15, 2017, 03:51:12 PM
If you already made the transaction then I suggest using ViaBTC. If you still want to change wallet (and thats recommended) Multibit Classis should allow exporting private keys, as for importing them you could use Mycelium (Android) wallet by scanning the QR code or simply Bitcoin Core.

880  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: USD Value Based Coins on: April 15, 2017, 02:40:26 PM
You are trying to send your documents to Tether.to? I believe you could use it without sending anything If you are trading from Poloniex or another exchange unless of course you are trading huge volumes daily then you will need to provide details just like any other currency.
