The only legit way to do it (without abusing power of developers) is to ask forgers to decide what to do:
Keep forging the current branch with 50M belonging to the thief
OR
Remove the blocks after the theft and forge another branch where 50M will belong to BTER
U still have time to roll the changes back, after 720 blocks on top it will be too late. U should try to reach Jean-Luc to get NRS version that allows to manually delete recent blocks. |

Nope, it's been 10 days since last contact and 4 days since dividend target (Monday originally). Maybe they just take longer than expected or they were waiting for the dump to get more BTC/$. I guess we will be hearing from them soon. |

Ich habe, angefangen mit der Aktienhausse Ende der 90er, schon etliche Bubbles erlebt. Momentan sind wir Stimmungstechnisch weit von einer euphorischen Stimmung entfernt. Ich würde uns tatsächlich eher in die Nähe der "Final Capitulation" setzen. Imo erleben wir gerade immernoch die Auswirkungen der Gox-Pleite. Es fehlt eine globale vertrauenswürdige Exchange welche es schafft auch komplette Bitcoin-Noobs zu animieren. Das Vertrauen in die Exchanges wieder herzustellen dürfte eine Weile dauern. Das Gox-Desaster haben auch Leute mitbekommen welch rein garnichts mit Bitcoin zu tun hatten bisher. Doch es gibt auch positive Ausblicke: Wall Street. Sollte die Anbindung per ETF an die Nasdaq bekanntgegeben werden dürfte das eine Rally auslösen. Institutionelle Investoren stehen momentan Schlange um über einen seriösen Weg Bitcoins in grossem Stil erwerben zu können. Bestes Beispiel: die Silkroad-Auktion. Sobald ein seröser Weg bereitet ist um grosse Summen sicher in Bitcoin anzulegen knallt der Kurs durch die Decke. Jau, klingt plausibel und ist ja auch der O-Ton der ganzen Bitcoin Whales im Moment. Es bleibt spannend was bis zum Jahresende noch passiert. |

aaaaand as soon as USA wakes up, china begins dumping round 2. They might start to panic sell, and looking at this whole situation they should.
Not yet, they must break 3100 and then panic sell, but volume is too low right now, maybe later. Yeah I think so too. Volume needs to rise, maybe we will see ~480 before the weekend. Keeps the traders fingers excited at least. |
