861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATOKEN, Probit, What else? on: March 26, 2020, 10:16:59 AM
After LATOKEN targeted by shit token/project to conduct an IEO, nowadays I see they glanced at PROBIT and hell yeah, that exchange become popular by shit project. I wonder who's the next exchange, lol
There have been a lot of posts warning about these exchanges, they are small exchanges and do not have too many users. So when they implement IEO, no one will be involved, that's why so far no project has been able to succeed at these exchanges.
They are just claiming that the IEO is successfully raised the money.

Actually the faked volume and low cost listing fee is thier strategy to have many project owner list thier token in thier exchange .
What will be the benefit for them listing it?
They earn money for every project listed + it will add more user's in thier exchange since buyer's need to registered before they can buy the tokens.
862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 26, 2020, 06:32:21 AM
I am happy to read your opinion, indeed a bounty program for a project will not make certainty to succeed and can attract a lot of investors instantly. But there will be a possibility for prize hunters to spread the project to a larger community, and in my opinion it will be quite helpful for a project even though it isn't very big.
if the question is if bounty campaign can help, then it can. However the next question will be if this is   enough? We all know many project now failed to raised even the softcap  so project owner should also work to find other alternative that they think can be a big help to thier project to increase the investors they have and they can target new potential investors.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 26, 2020, 04:56:39 AM
Bounty campaign is a good way for projects to spread the word and gain publicity in the cryptocurrency market. But it is not the best way to gain investors. Good projects don't depend on bounties alone to promote their token sale.
And this is because when bounty hunters post about a project, majority of these posts is only seen by other bounty hunters and not to the real investors. And these posts are just basic and can not convince good investors to invest.
Bringing in the investors and funds depends on the team's marketing ability and their ability to close deals. This is why good projects attend a lot of crypto events and network with people.
Though bounties help a project to create popularity and hype among crypto users, the main investment and funds is brought in by the team's marketing and closing ability.
There are many ways to be added if your project want to get the full potential , they should also make a bannerads  from every other cryptowebsite like cmc etherscan this forum and other popular crypto channel or websites . They can even hired a crypto influencer to get more engagement.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Calling the Bitcoin community to help battle COVID-19 on: March 25, 2020, 02:58:30 PM
We need help many countries have lock down and give their some food and drink because there are not possibility for them looking for much money, their government stop for make other activities out home and always stay at home until lock down end.
They should follow the government rules so they will not have any problem. The government on that country affected will provide all thier needs and besides thats thier job to help people in thier constituents.
Every body needs help now even economy affected so you need to do your job as a good citizen to stay at your home so the virus will not spread any more.
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: March 25, 2020, 12:14:54 PM
With the existence of Corona viruses all the countries feel very hit because of the many problems that arise, and also with the virus is a lot of times that eat victims so that there are already lockdown countries for now there is no vaccine can Cure this virus, we as crypto users of course also feel worried about this problem because it can interfere with the market movement, so hope we all these problems will quickly expire.
Even china has a difficult time with this virus it takes them 2months to reduce the infected of the virus in thier country. That lockdown is really big help  if people listen to the government and just stay at home to prevent them from spreading to other people. It will reduce the infected plus they can focus only on those people infected to cure them.
866  Other / Off-topic / Re: To help at this covid-19 time includes landlords cutting down rents for tenants on: March 25, 2020, 11:06:33 AM
And what's next? Free food?

I think the economy shouldn't stop for a crisis like this,

Really.... This is a virus that is transmitted to human and there is panic and fear so many people are not investing again and naturally, the economy will be shut down by itself. In this case, the government won't even need to make a legislation about shutting down but people are not ready to put in money.
and besides this is not an ornidary flue its virus that can easily be transmited to other people . They need to protect them self for the virus and no one is immune with that virus even politician can also be infected even royal family is now infected with that virus what do you think people will do to survive?

They will secured the money for another day expenses than pay the landlord for the rental. You should. Understand that they also i need in this situatuion delaying the payment for rental or cut it to half is really big help for them.
867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Access on Bitcoin on: March 25, 2020, 06:06:38 AM
This isn't recommended at all. You're expanding your storage space and placing a private key everywhere just to reduce the risk of losing your private key by your own carelessness but inadvertently expanding other people's opportunities to steal it from you. Have you ever thought when one day you access your wallet and find that your assets have run out without you knowing?

I don't think keeping a private key in one place (which you think is the safest) won't make you forget it because that's what most people remember.
Having multiple backup keys is much more secured. It cannot steal to you if you know where did you secured your backups and no one other than you should know where it is .

It will only be a problem if you are not so careful to where you will stored it.

868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wales what it is / who are they? on: March 25, 2020, 04:45:35 AM
Now a rather big problem is that it is impossible to know exactly how many of these addresses are just waiting, and how many of them were lost by their owners, which is very common, especially with respect to the first bitcoins, when they cost very little.
its possible how ever the chance that the owner will not secured thier key is very small. If you have large amount of coins you will always make multiple backup keys not only one or two. The only person i see possible to forget thier keys is those people who have bitcoin way back 2010-2013 .
869  Other / Off-topic / Re: To help at this covid-19 time includes landlords cutting down rents for tenants on: March 24, 2020, 01:14:56 PM
The Covid -19 epidemic is causing a serious shut down of the economy worldwide. This is really serious that it is causing fear and attendant hardship.

I was thinking it would be nice to also show a measure of help to people inhabiting your premises and properties. You can support them in terms of cutting down their rent payment for this season that they stayed isolated at least they were unproductive especially those whose livelihood requires them to go out daily for "daily bread".

I heard some governments are supporting with feeding but I think individuals too can support by cutting down rent at this time that your tenants is unproductive.

good suggestion's they can actually make it free if they are not really in need the money. Its just a consideration for the crisis thier country experience today and to help thier tenant to survive the lockdown happening in thier country.
If possible give them a groceries that they can use daily , you should show some love to people who give you money and help you with your business not only when you need it but if they need it also.
870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoters still have a place on crypto world on: March 24, 2020, 11:15:55 AM
To be honest very few bounty projects get listed on top exchanges this days, very few bounties go to top exchanges maybe because they lack funds but believe bounty hunters can still get the work done, if I have to pass an advice to a developer I will say they should put IEO first, bounty hunters part aren't effective anymore
its slows the promotion that bounty hunters have because investors already have idea what bounty hunter's doing. IEO is just alternative to ICO but no guaranteed they can be succesfull if they run it there are many exchange created just to have many project listed to them for IEO. If you want your IEO to be successful you need to list in one of the top exchange like binance.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoters still have a place on crypto world on: March 24, 2020, 07:25:34 AM
ICO and IEO are for raising funds, what about bounty? To create awareness around the web to get more investors right? This makes it two ways for projects to gain investors, I would have said ' why do new projects need bounty hunters for then' but bounty hunters are playing a big role here as you can see that's why we keep seeing bounty campaigns from IEO projects, although not all of IEO cares about bounties

Well IEO have thier own way of promotion thats why more of them do not need any bounty campaign. While other's want to also increase more engagement to thier project even they have an IEO.

There are many ways of promotion they just need to see if what of those will help that project to be well known and have more user's participate in thier crowd funding.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: March 24, 2020, 05:05:23 AM
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?
I think it would be possible if the market goes up again and the project meets it's hardcap.
But we know that it would be really hard to do at the current situation it would be great if we could have those campaign like that again.
its hard to any ICO right now to raised the hardcap. Even how good the team is its hard to get back the trust of many investors lost from an ICO before. I think the idea to have this large allocation of bounty will only happen not in ICO but with a coin project that can make a self developement without the need to ask for crowdfund.
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: March 24, 2020, 03:31:27 AM
in my opinion if you want to follow the airdrop just try checking in some telegram channels that provide info about airdrop, most airdrops and giveaway are in the telegram.

Mostly i see in telegram airdrop is manage by bot i am also looking for airdrop, But i prefer those airdrop that have thier own  website that you can claim your free tokens there not in a bot.

I think its better to have a affliate program than joining in that kind of airdrop.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stack sats / HODL philosophy (noob question) on: March 23, 2020, 01:54:50 PM
If you just want to increase your bitcoin holdings then holding is not the best option.
Trading is the way to increase your holding buy at low price then sell at high price always do this not only buying you also need to sold your holding if you see a signal that the price go lower in that case you can rebuy back at lower and increase the sats you are holding.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 11:51:05 AM
I also think that the idea is good. We can achieve our goal but most importantly we can save lives. There is a serious problem that has allowed the spread of the virus that the most affected countries did not follow the protocol or did not follow China's measures to prevent the spread.

we need more people to donate so it will be hear every where in the world. Its actually another way of advertising crypto however many people prepare to donate directly from thier government or any local agency that they know that the help they given will arive to those who really needed it.
Also if for example many member's will donate crypto what govern agency should accept that as donations?
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers always make use of advantages on: March 23, 2020, 07:57:40 AM
This is the disadvantage of social media. People who lack spine instead helping are taking advantage of the situation and this is such a ridiculous move by those scammer. Without consciences they just do whatever they wanted just to earn some money. What worse is they using crypto ad their payment scheme does making it worse in the perception of other people.
disadvantage because they can now have a victim and recruit many people  without explaining anything face to face . They are just give proof of the payment and show money images then they can easily attract people who want to earn money in easy way . Its happen not only in crypto they are also using other online payment as long as its available in thier country.

877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: March 23, 2020, 05:35:26 AM
If I hire a developer to create a fork of Bitcoin with a small premine. How do I make sure I get my premine and that the developer hasn't ripped me off. Is there a way to know for sure that I have received my premine? What would be the steps when launching the network to verify the developer hasn't done anything 'tricky'? Thanks!
If you are not a developer yourself, you cant find if your altcoin developer is cheating you. So it is better to employ an experienced and good developer who has a good reputation for himself in the community. Reputed developers most probably wouldn't do anything tricky or try to scam you as it will damage their reputation.
Also hired only a person you really know personally or know where this persons can be find in case there will be a problem about the coins he forked.

Hiring a people blindly will be your longterm problem if that persons cant really trust it will damage the coin reputation and your own reputation also.
878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 23, 2020, 03:38:29 AM
I don't have coins from 2014, but I have lots of tokens whose values have dropped even though they have quality. WPP token was a hope that it turns out that currently falling is worthless
More of the token's have the same directions even the one who raised large funds before they are always decreasing its price. THis is beacuse there are many of them failed to make the roadmap they are promising and other do not want to continue the project after raising a lot of money.

There are still few good project how ever they are also affected with this long bearmarket time.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 Question on: March 22, 2020, 02:22:54 PM
Corona virus affected US the most with their 5000 new cases per day and that has caused a lot of country wide panic that has crashed a lot of their markets. with that panic many bitcoin holders feared a drop like that so they started panic selling.
we all know that whenever bitcoin drops, altcoins dump 10 times harder which is why you see cryptocurrencies dropping this much. however COVID-19 has nothing to do with bitcoin which is why bitcoin price went back up.
and again we all know that whenever bitcoin price rises altcoins get dumped again which is another reason for altcoin drops.

actually i just feel that this corona crisis will actually help the price of bitcoin to increase using online payment .its the best solution right now if you dont want to use fiat money and dont want to be infected there is also things saying that fiat money can also be a cause of transmiting the desease to other people.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is all set to boom now... on: March 22, 2020, 11:19:04 AM
It all depends on the price of Bitcoin. I still remember 2017 when Bitcoin rallied to $19k ETH rallied to $1k. I do not expect Bitcoin to do the same this year but it will pump just before halving and the same will happen to ETH.

Historically it is always the year after halving when Bitcoin has created a new all time high. I expect the same to happen next year.
before that happen ETH increase its price without the help of btc at early 2017, then make thier own demand by having this ethereum platform and make many succesfull ICO that year.

But this year is different there are many negative though now that eth have from investors.
It will increase its price but i dont see it follow bitcoin trend that time unless they make something new eth that can help to increase its price alone.
