BTCC needs to hire someone for PR reasons that can answer questions...  I sent him a PM but no answer yet  I have sent numerous emails to them regarding many of these questions, and no response. I even chatted with their on-line chat service, and they were of no help.... as they did not really understand. If anyone can contact them or get them to come here and answer some of these questions, it would alleviate many concerns and boost sales. Just my 2 satoshi. Thanks  same for me ... i have sent them 2 messages , and no response at the moment ... just a curious sense of comunication model.. just my humble opinion.. |

Electrum is an easy Bitcoin wallet choice... as it dont have to download the entire blockchain likebitcoincore do, it is really lightweight , without syncing issues.. i suggest to OP to give it a try...., as already mentioned few posts above  |

well knowed story .... nothing new here....  anyway sorry for your lost , but it was already discuss, unfortunaly : NEVER USE THIS KIND OF ONLINE SERVICES !!! vanitygen works like a charm, and it's pretty a robust piece of software..., but , you have to build it from the source , and run it by yourself.. : in this way , no chances to anyone getting a collision with your own freshly generated vanity-adress.. i hope this finaly gona help someone .. i 'm sad to see another people using these kind of online scam websites... sorry man...  |

@quickseller : is the chances of a collision just using the first 6 digits of the public adress are really hight ? If assuming 6 digit short code LTC address always starting with "L" and digits are base58 and not considering the aspects of vanity, then would the chance of a random collision be in the ball park: 1/58^5 or 1 out of 656356768. It is unlikely, but by far not impossible. Most lealana LTC has 8 digit short code, so the chance of collision with those are significantly smaller. @TookDk , yeah you're right , i was wrong : it's 8 digits.. anyway thank you for your kind answer |
