I just woke up with some morning wood 🪵 and I guess I picked it up 🆙 from BTC.        . @nohomo

By the way Well scheduled for Oct 1

The funny thing is I am babysitting my 71 year old demented bro-in-law. Talk about real world shit. So he is in NY abour 80 miles away from us in NJ.

Due to his illness he is a security risk so I don’t have any access to BTC I have been watching charts since monday. I am thinking the work for him may have saved me from a panic sale. Would be nice if we pull some nice jumps from now to sat since I cant do any sale of coin until sat nite.

Maybe the work for him helps my holding go 2x say 75-80k over the weekend.
8602  Other / Meta / Are we now allowing obviously false information to be posted as truth? on: October 01, 2021, 01:08:40 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5363378.msg58066829#msg58066829

I think this thread is an example of yelling fire in a crowded movie theater. Not proper free speech.

I can not find the ruling on SCOTUS website.

I also think this type of posting could cause bitcointalk grief since it is a blatant falsehood present as truth.
It is inflammatory and justifies killing since vaxxed people are no longer human.
8603  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supreme Court ruling vaccinated subjects not classified as human but trans human on: October 01, 2021, 01:00:12 AM
'Bout time somebody let the vaxxed people know that they are not human beings.

Supreme Court ruling vaccinated subjects not classified as human but trans human

Supreme Court ruling vaccinated subjects not classified as human but trans human. They no longer have rights. And this applies worldwide….

Cool

Are you posting this a a fact and truth? If so please link proper documentation.

I think you should get a temp ban if this is a falsehood.

If this is a fake you are yelling fire 🔥 in a crowded movie theater. which is not allowed by free speech rules.

BTW It is a fake as the USA supreme court ruling apply to the USA constitution not the entire world.

At the mods he should be banned for a few days as this could hurt the website since it is a USA website and you kind of can’t allow obviously false inflammatory info that is a danger to public be online once it is pointed out to be so.

BTW if the proper link to the SCOTUS does exist I withdraw my post’s request.

Good as done my friend. Will make and post it tomorrow from work. Was really busy today so no wall observing.

i am located in Bulgaria.

i just heard about that bitcoin/etherium story and one guy told me it`s not bad with etherium and have buyd that expensive card. i have paid maybe 750 Euro for new one.

Just want to have maximum performance of card, click one button like Mine and begin earning something.

Be healthy Smiley
You can create account in binance after you pass KYC verification you good to go and mine there you have one card so you dont need withdraw anywhere. Also binance has peer 2 peer sell/buy (P2P) You will get euro, good luck.

he could get a trezor  wallet and mine on  nicehash convert to btc and never have to reveal anything until he cashes out.

8607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How I almost died building crypto mines. on: September 30, 2021, 05:55:15 PM

Actually was surprised how well his face healed.

His arms were closer and burned deeper.

Our main farm has 2x  800 amp 440 3 phase  panels then transformers then 3.  200 amp panels wired for 3 phase 220

I never ever ever open the 440 panel I never ever ever open the transformers. I deal with the 200 amp 240 3phase only by turning the circuit breaker on and off.

We have a high power qualified  electrician do all wiring.  If we ever max this place out we will be over .5 mega watts in one of the 2 buildings the other building can provide 40x 30 amp  240 volt circuits  so about  1200 more amps say 268kwatts.

These are WWII factories the foundation slabs are six feet of concrete there are so overbuilt it is amazing. 2x  concrete filled cinder block walls.

Biggest issue is the big transformers are more then 50 years old they are 5 by 5 by 5 feet and always a bit warm to the touch.

More likely he is afraid to see how little control he has when many world governments join hands 🙌 to play a game.

Pissed off to the governments, is an understatement.
Not afraid though. I leverage my anger - which makes fear obsolete.

As I have said I am 64 and for me the idea that I can walk into a bank with a mask and a bandanna over the mask plus sunglasses and a hoodie along with gloves.

Actually that’s fucking awesome.

So I am hoping the governments keep those mask mandates going.

Errr, no man!
What’s this authoritarian complex most people seem to have? Fuck mandating anything - end of story.

Ahh if they lift mandates  I lose the ability to freely wear the masks.
See I go reverse on their game.
Trying to wear masks and fully hidden face.

pictures are very well done, I have to say...@sirazimuth may think of making a limited NFT series out of it...I know , I know, you guys mostly dislike that "nifty" concept.
Nobody knows the people on the list outside of WO, though, but who knows, when btc would be at $5mil, WO might have a place in history, lol

You have auto-exchange on to BTC? Looks like it would take forever to get payment. Maybe change it to LTC? Just a thought Smiley

@philipma1957

Sorry to here about your bro-in-law. I have some experience of dementia, my grandfathers also has it (Currently 96 years old).
When he was still living home he used to shut down all devices while nobody else was there, just small warning Smiley

Take Care

Yeah he shuts the cameras in the living room and the kitchen and the router which shuts down the ring doorbell.

8612  Economy / Economics / Re: [LIST] Countries that own bitcoin on: September 30, 2021, 11:48:12 AM
This site lists some countries that own bitcoin:
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/treasuries/#countries

It's not completely correct though.

For example, this website claims Bulgaria sold all those BTC:
https://bitcoinist.com/bulgaria-not-bitcoin-1-6b-finance-minister/

Quote
According to Bulgarian media outlets, however, no such BTC reserves exist.
Specifically, local news publication Bivol wrote in April 2018, the government auctioned off its haul in a low-key affair which involved various international buyers.

In the case of Georgia, it's actually individual people, members of parliament, who hold the bitcoins, not the country:
source: https://medium.com/@Max_BTC/georgias-members-of-parliament-together-own-66-bitcoins-7238835ec49f

By that logic then the US should also be in the list, since US Senator Cynthia Lummis has 5 Bitcoins
source: https://cryptoslate.com/us-senator-cynthia-lummis-says-bitcoin-should-be-part-of-retirement-portfolio/

And the Ukraine data is not very reliable. There doesn't seem to be any official statement about it.

In the end, El Salvador is probably the only government that actually has Bitcoins, at least openly.

I think Norway has put some in all of its people's pension funds.
8613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: September 30, 2021, 11:45:57 AM
  Yeah I floated as a feeler I own 5 or 6 of them .

With my bro-in-law developing the dementia  and only being 71 years old he could need a ton of care and time and energy. So I may want to scale down the mining for a while.  Obviously having just found out how il he is and trying to see what my wife (his sister) and I can do for him is a new and different challenge  then crypto.  I kind of wanted to simply build up the farms/ locations and eventually have 1 or 2 megawatts on gear in 7 locations in NJ and PA.

I am not a kid I am 64 so while I can put in a good six or seven hours of work a day. Doing that and watching my Bro-in-law is really tiring .  I am behind on a lot of things at the moment.

With the bro-in-law in NY 80 miles from us if I babysit him so to speak I need a full Pc setup in his house. with complete access to all the locations all the accounts etc. Since he is demented I can trust him to not fuck with the gear. Driving back and forth to his house from my house is not only a traffic challenge the tolls are 44 dollars each trip. the miles are 180 on a leased car and gas is about 6 gallons.

To make it just a bit worse he is fully functional in every way but his mind  so if I stay in NJ with my wife babysitting him she is in physical danger as they had a fight in which he scratched her arm and twisted her wrist. He was a clerk for 35 years and processed disability claims for federal workers so what he does now is constantly fight for his mail and make phone calls to multiple agencies to try to help him self.  It would be funny as a tv show. Since last friday 52 letters from the IRS have come to his home as he has used the automated service to ask for 2 sets of documents 26 times.

It is an adventure to say the least.  To any and all reading take good care of your brain you do not want to fuck it up.

//i prefer to ask in bitcointalk i cannot do my own researches. thank you

Okay lets go slow.

What country are you mining in?

It matters as some countries have a shit ton crazy set of rules about mining and or having wallets.
8615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 30, 2021, 10:16:26 AM

I will admit that I have run across a decent number of status quo rich folks who seem to believe that everything is going to just work itself out with their financial investments, including their properties and equities, and they do not even seem to be too worried about prices going up.. at least in their desires to defend the level of their richie status; however, even on probing I have some difficulties understanding how they can even feel secure with their traditional investments without some kind of hedge.. and they seem to believe that properties and just having a lot of money is enough of a hedge.. so things have worked out the past 10-20 years, so seems pretty much that it is going to continue to work out.. especially if they might only have another 10-20 years to live and maybe 35 years if they are extremely lucky... but in any event they feel that they have enough financial/psychological preparations for any scenario... and they do not need bitcoin as a hedge... as if I am trying to sell them bitcoin even though I am strongly suggesting to consider some hedging with bitcoin... but no, no, no.... and so there can sometimes be what seems to be false senses of security in traditional financial circles.. at least some of the seemingly stubborn-ass guys that I have run across.. in my real life social circles.

Seems to me that we bitcoin holders have a lot to be thankful for in terms of our bet having had paid off, we are not losing our conviction, so our bet is still likely to continue to pay off, even if some aspects of the upside might have come down to ONLY 1,000x more rather than 10,000x or some other ridiculous amounts....  but I surely am not feeling either fooled or fucked by either my past bitcoin involvement or where I anticipate king daddy to be going in the coming years, whether 4-10 years or even longer periods, if I happen to still be alive and able to enjoy where it has come, besides just being able to mutter I told you so through my talking box.

... JJG does throw up some gems from time to time ... the level of rekt that is coming for the average wealthy-middle upper-middle classes of the West is going to be epic, like never seen in history, and they all seem oblivious, or wantonly ignorant more likely

... capitulating to the stupid fucking governments and sundry idiots in charge on "terrorism", intelligence surveillance, foreign wars, police state overreach, monetary management, public health, funding bioweapon mischief, financial system oversight, "health and safety", supply-chain mismanagement, pensions, "manmade" climate change hoax, social media influencing by black OPs and the avalanche of rules, regulations, policies, departments, bureaucracies will be their nemesis

... you can't have that much fucked up in society by unaccountable governments and expect everything "to just turn out OK", history is littered with detritus of nations fucked up by governments, the West is not special .... in fact the thing that made the West special has been sold for "safety" theatre and dereliction of personal responsibility and critical thinking

... anyway enough rant, the bust will be epic, economies are grinding to a halt around the world and no-one has a fucking clue what comes next, you can't print electronic money to paper over what a fucking disaster the banksters have created by raping financial and commodity markets and interfering in the economy of real world output for at least the last 2 decades

... plant a garden, make sure you secure access to local food supplies, good luck.

Okay he has a lot listed but   “manmade” climate change hoax is not true.

The other 17 pretty much on point. 🙁

Your starting to sound like you've panic sold all of your bitcoins

How’s so, care to elaborate? What’s the connection between the two?
No offence but your erratic posting and might just be my perception however I get the impression you have a chip on your shoulder. Having seen this pattern of behaviour on this forum so many times, it usually turns out to be a panic selling no coiner. Hope I'm wrong

So he posts with wicked powerful passion cause he is pissed he brought coins at 60k and sold them at 40k?

That could be true.

More likely he is afraid to see how little control he has when many world governments join hands 🙌 to play a game.

Come on since when can you go into a bank dressed the way I described and not scare the shit out of everyone.

I see a quote of 28 cents per TH, well damn..on average in August seems like I was getting >~35....good things don't last long.
I'm turning bearish again!  Undecided

When was the last time you were bullish? Cheesy

Anyway, we got some updates from Chinese vendors.

Quote
To all who may concern:

First, Along with the Chinese government's ban on mining and crypto trading, the domestic market has been very unstable recently. we can still accept crypto as the payment option, but usdt price to USD rate has changed , 1 USDT=0.95 USD only now.  As a result , the miner price in usdt/usdc will be higher than normal USD price, same for all the other usdt-related coins.  so bank transfer is much preferred right now.

Second,  for Mid-Autumn festival reason , many goods we shipped several days ago still stuck at airport, especially the DDP UPS shipping line. thanks for the kind patience

Third,  Our Chinese National holidays is coming from 1st to 7th, Oct, during which, we can still take orders,  but not able to ship anything out. Tomorrow is the last working day for shipping couriers before holiday,  if you have any order in , pls come to us earlier before holiday starts.

Fourth, China is now forcing their citizens and companies to ration power. Factories have been majorly affected by this power rationing. Many factories have now stopped working entirely or they have dramatically cut back on their labor force and hours of operation from 6 days per week down to only 2-3 days per week. If you need to buy anything from China, it is my opinion that you should do so earlier than later because it will take a much longer time to manufacture items in the coming weeks and months. especially for future orders.

Kind regards

For anyone who is already positioned, that is just some good news, alongside the gas price increase and all, that's all good news to those who are not affected.

so based on the bolded section we should see a drop in hashrate from now until at least Oct 8 or 9.

So if we see a 10% drop over that time China still had a lot of gear online.
If the drop is 5% China was reduced quite a bit and did not have much online.

Of course if there is a gain this was a pack of lies or a lot of gear already off line is deploying outside China.

The good thing is the mad arms race (hashrate race is accurate) seems to be put off for a while.

I think what he wants to do is get someone to host his GPUs for him. Seems he already has the GPUs but doesn’t have space or time for getting them up and running.

From what I know there are some hosting places, there are a few that only do ASICS because GPU mining requires more maintaince and many will require you to keep it enclosed in a case and can’t do open air. Reason why is they need to exhaust the heat properly and can’t do that with an open air set up.

So I am sure they are companies out there in Europe which can host your rigs.

If he has rigs there are hosting facilities in Europe.
They will want the cards to be in server cases .

If they are professional since server cases will protect the gear.
