8741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FIX TOKEN : FIX Stable Investmen,Payment Processor on: January 10, 2019, 03:53:56 AM
Several questions:
1. There is no need to create new tokens just for the sake of microtransactions. The claim about free transactions with low fees is also misleading and wrong, every transaction on the ETH network requires a fee. Even if you build your own main net it is not possible to do this.
2. Won't this project fails to comply with regulations in Indonesia? AFAIK cryptocurrency is not yet acceptable for payment/transactions such as buying things. Can you point out why you can be so sure this project will works?
3. There is no way a business can claims that investors will get 100% return from their investment. How can this project claims that investors will get 100% of their investment (stable investment)?
4. Which card provider that will cooperate with the debit/credit card shipping/making?
5. This is my first time seeing that bounty allocation is way higher than private sale and public sale. It looks like you care more about the promotion of your project rather than building your product. How can you be so sure that your token will dump heavily on the market when 10% or more is allocated for bounty campaign?
6. Is that exchange on your list confirmed or just the target for your ICO? What happens if you fail to list on that exchange, will you take the necessary responsibilities if your investors sue you and ask you to go to the court?
8742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ABCS] Airdrop and Bounty Campaign Standards on: January 10, 2019, 03:31:12 AM
Truely speaking, I don't like the idea of Airdrop, as following/completing all the mentioned tasks, gets rewarded only few cents. Also projects delay most of the time distribution, so that half the participants leave it.
This is my personal opinion, no offense.  Cool

Airdrop is like traditional marketing strategy, easy task low rewards unless you can bring 1000 new users using your ref link. I do agree that airdrop is not profitable, but some projects in the past, like REBL or EQUAL only do an airdrop and they don't do any bounty too. But projects like these are scarce now, maybe because the market is bad.
8743  Other / Meta / Re: Escrows and forgotten sections on: January 10, 2019, 03:18:10 AM
Yes they are bitcointalk escrows because they provide escrow service in bitcointalk.
I already said they are not official but still they provide service in bitcointalk only so they are bitcointalk escrows.

If I run translation services here, will I become "Bitcointalk translators" then?
No hard feelings but the term is a bit misleading to me.
8744  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ⚡💰🔥 MAGNUM WALLET || Signature Campaign 🔥💰⚡ on: January 09, 2019, 12:41:31 PM
Hi Notaek

I checked spreadsheet, I saw you  created the week spreadsheet as below:

24 Dec- 31 Dec
1 Jan- 8 Jan

Now they are 8 days period instead of 7 days period (a week).

I already mentioned this issue in my previous post, but it seems it just got ignored.

Btw, isn't 1st week supposed to be 24-12 to 30-12?
Unless a week = 8 days. Anyway, I hope there won't be any delay for payment.

There's no response, and even until now week 2 is not yet counted.
8745  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Sub Forum Indo Kok Sepi? Apa hanya perasaan saya saja? on: January 08, 2019, 03:49:43 PM

See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=191.0;sort=last_post

Saya sendiri jarang ngepos di sub forum karena ga ada pembahasan yang bagi ane menarik, dan sedang tidak minat membuat topik baru. Daripada banyak spam memang lebih baik sepi imo.
8746  Other / Serious discussion / Re: It's just a game! on: January 08, 2019, 12:15:05 PM
And why is online games bad?
I won’t put a problem in this: if a person gets satisfaction from a game, everybody has to learn every game. If a person has extra money to spend in games, who can forbid him this.
P.S. from banning online games, Africa will not live better ... this is not a panacea!

Well, I think the point is, if people can spend their money better, the world would have been a better place. There's no one who forbids you to spend $4M on a game (or whatever it is), but when you have the options to use it to help others, is it wrong for people to questions your decisions?
8747  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: January 07, 2019, 01:01:04 PM
Hi folks. I do not have a hardware wallet at the moment, only an Online wallet with Blockchain.info
Does any of you know if it is possible to sign a message for non imported addresses there? Has anyone done it before on Blockchain.info?
Thanks for your help.

I assume by non-imported address it is an address where you import the private key.

You can't sign a valid message from an address if you don't own the private key. So you have to "import" the private key on blockchain.info. You can use software like Electrum to sign your message, it's more secure than blockchain.info.
8748  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Decentralised Recovery System for your Bitcoin on: January 06, 2019, 01:28:14 PM
I'm not even sure what does "decentralized recovery system" means. You suggest that there is some centralized system for wallet recovery, like what? Does keeping our own seeds make it centralized? I'd rather keep my own seed and back it up by myself even if it means it's centralized.

Your LinkedIn page suggests that you're building some kind of hardware wallet though, and your website doesn't tell much either. So your product is still confusing, at least to me.
8749  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: First time user unable to connect to server on: January 06, 2019, 12:09:39 PM
Just in case you still have this issue and the problem is a block from your ISP, as an alternative to Tor, you can also use DNScrypt to bypass it.[1]

8750  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: January 05, 2019, 01:25:59 PM
8751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: could it be the next scenario? on: January 05, 2019, 05:39:06 AM
It's possible I think. But the fundamental for 2019 is quite good (as long as it did happen). Bakkt, ETF, etc can bring new positive sentiment for the market, after that the halving will happen. I believe the timeframe would be shorter than the previous cycle, but who knows? As long as you don't spend all of your money hoping for this scenario to happen, I guess it's good to try.
8752  Other / Meta / Re: Report to DefaultTrust button on: January 05, 2019, 03:27:35 AM
As you said, because default trust is "broken" then adding a report to default trust doesn't make sense. Deciding whether someone wants to scam you or not requires proof and sometimes a post is not enough, so a report button doesn't make sense and discussion/argument is fine.

Btw, seems like this kind of suggestion is increasing lately. Is this the time for a report to blablabla thread?
8753  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: January 05, 2019, 03:12:28 AM
They'll probably answer you with some statement like : "We have described that deposit doesn't require KYC but withdrawal does, here and there, so the fault is in our customer". I know several exchanges who did this, and sadly they don't even give notifications when users are trying to deposit that if they wish to withdraw they have to do KYC first.

Unless there's public information about their team, it's not really that bad. The bad news is when the exchange you use doesn't have any public info, therefore it's almost impossible to sue them. And in the end, you lost your money. There's no one will help in this case, so let's be wary and only use exchanges that don't look suspicious.
8754  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmart SCAM!!! on: January 05, 2019, 03:00:08 AM
You should move this to scam accusations[1]. And if possible, rather than video, provide a screenshot or something like that, it's easier for anyone to check. Btw, it's quite interesting that only newbies saying the same thing. Not saying that this accusation is fake though.

8755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Old bitcoin wallet.dat files needed on: January 04, 2019, 12:53:53 PM
Seems like OP never online again since December 26, and this thread looks abandoned tbh.

Anyway, rather than asking people for the private key, we can read from https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/doc. I have the same suspicion like pooya though, maybe OP wants some free coins? Cheesy

Nevertheless, happy learning.
8756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Type of Cold Wallet!! on: January 04, 2019, 05:07:25 AM
An online wallet is definitely not a cold wallet, why would you put that as an option?

If you're looking for a long-term solution and you don't need to access your funds regularly, then paper or steel wallet might be a good option, as long as you can save it correctly.
8757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do you believe that Bakkt can influence BTC and alts' values too much? on: January 04, 2019, 04:46:12 AM
Yeah and we must be ready for that one. I believe that BAKKT will bring the market up again since its main purpose is to improve the current market by developing new improvement with bitcoin and I see this one as a big move for this year.

Bakkt sole purpose is to make profits for investors, they just use Bitcoin to do it. in terms of development, they don't bring anything new at all. Bakkt hype is so great, most of the time, it mentions the physical-backed bitcoin contract. The hype by itself is enough to push the price I believe.

Anyway, as long as it pushes the price then I don't really see any problem with it. The problem is manipulation.

8758  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A fresh new start for Romanian Crypto-Exchanges on: January 04, 2019, 03:55:59 AM
Seems like there's a lot of new exchange recently. What makes your exchange standout from other exchanges? The voucher and free bank charge?

How will you compete with exchanges like DX.Exchange who provide tokenized stock? Or your market is only for Romanian users?

On top of that, there's no information about the team? Are you operating anonymously?
8759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Year's surprise from ICObench on: January 03, 2019, 01:45:28 PM
I don't think they're being honest, Icobench being manipulated by people they finance. Also I think no one no longer believes in ICO scoring sites

There are several good ICO listing site that I know, such as ICODrops. ICOBench, is actually a platform where anyone as long as their registration is approved, can give their rating to any project. So there's no real standard, some good project where rated very bad while the bad ones are rated very good. And as most people might already know, those "experts" can request money for their rating. So yeah, ICOBench is terrible, but not as terrible as ICOHolder, AFAIK.

I'd rather do my own research though.
8760  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BitcoinTalk Rank on: January 03, 2019, 06:07:45 AM
Also  try to be active everyday in this forum or make at least 30-40  orginal posts per week or if you want make even more but dont spam because  people dont like that.

There's no need to make a lot of posts. Making 1 post a week as long as it's meaningful is much better. If you want to rank up, what you need to think is how to make a quality post, not how many posts you have to make per week. You can increase your activity later, it doesn't need a lot of effort to do that.
