why not just buy from a reputable exchange online? if they are "selling" BTC for cheap, do you mean below market value? If so, that makes zero sense and reeks of a scam. I would be wary if I were you.

So Late October may not be realistic for this gear. BTW it was 3c this morning or 37f I could use a quiet efficient heater.
lol it is never that cold here - we might hit 30's F once or twice a year. if this comes out at 18th at 1440 - that would be a bit more effecient than all my s9's are - but depending on price will determine if it really is worth getting - at least that is my opinion. After all, if the unit costs 3-4 times what an s9 costs (I can get s9's delivered with PSU for $508 each) at 1500 to 2000 per A911, it would be cheaper to just get s9's and hit the roi hopefully sooner.

so glad I did not buy these... when are there going to be real competitors to Bitmain? I mean there are a couple but every miner I have bought outside of Bitmains has crashed/burned or not performed as efficiently as Bitmains.

upgrade went smooth - I still cannot figure out how to set up my router to allow access off network. I am sure it is a user error though

Any update on release of price of this miner yet?
I would like to know as well - I did ask and they skipped answering that question.

i browsed thru but did not see where it was mentioned - I apologize if it was, on the app it correctly reports/notifies when a block is found - but it is not showing the correct data for "last payout", I am seeing last payout as 9/27/2018 - Block 543272, I have already received payout for block 546079.

Cryptostarusa hitting another block! woohoo!

nice! back to back blocks! onwards to the next one!

also - unless you are selling the coins the moment you are mining them - following which coin is profitable at that exact moment means nothing. Do some research, mine the coins that will gain value or will at least hold their value - sell when they are up, hodl when they are down.

It is getting colder again - and time to start turning my S7's on around the house for heat. What is the current hashrate required on the pool to be above the dust level? it is around 1 th/s if I recall from some of the earlier posts where users are around that point and are stating they are above dust level.

This will only be a solid miner is pricing is fair. If they think they are going to charge like $2000 for a miner then it's fucking useless lol. I'm sick of these mining companies charging price based off a ROI of like.. 1.5 years at current difficulty and price. Meanwhile bitmain comes in, charges half the price, and kills them. Hate bitmain but it's like they are the only ones with a brain in marketing lately. I don't want to buy a product based off HOPE that a coin will rise in price drastically, this isn't Star Wars here.
I agree.

well due to the storm that hit Florida, I was delayed in getting in touch with them, our talk was more around 1030pm rather than 800pm.
They did say much, they more or less wanted to know how many miners I currently have - whether I was a large farm or a small farm, whether I do both GPU and ASIC mining, how many of their miners I plan on getting etc.
I did ask about pricing and about independent testing of their miners - they stated they have someone doing testing/reviews but are not sharing that information at this time but hopefully will be sharing it soon.
They did not have an estimate on pricing at this time.

That link should have worked. Looking st your activity today, you have 42. Myself I'm at 434, before I went to sleep I was at 420.
That tells me today is the day activity is calculated. So before today you would have had 28 activity and 1 merit. To be a junior member 30 activity is required, which you just hit.
Edit: looking st your merit it was just received "today" that may have been the final thing needed. About a month agao it became a requirement to earn 1 merit to become a Jr. Member, thus was to combat sig. spam
ahh ok - and that makes sense. They need to update the main thread then because based on what it currently states, even newbies can have sigs up to 50 characters.

on a total side subject can anyone tell me how to create a signature here? I see people with them, I have looked thru the profile settings and I must be blind because I do not see it. Let me rephrase - I see it in my profile, but I see no way to edit it. rather than derail this thread, can send me a pm as well. now, let's get more blocks! You need more rank. ref https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0yea nothing in that link works for me. based on what it states, with my current "activity" I should be "Jr Member" I am still "newbie" also based on that link, even "newbie" gets to edit their signature - I cannot. EDIT: I pm'd the author of that thread and shortly thereafter my account was "fixed" so now I can have a signature, and my rank was corrected.

Hello fellow miners, just thought I would quickly share; 2 weeks ago I had no idea what bitcoin mining even was but I received an S9i Antminer through a business deal. Did some quick research, found you guys and plugged that baby in. Since then this entire bitcoin phenomenon has enthralled me, and this weekend I got a hold of another 14 S9s. As of today 5 are live and pointed her at Kano, tomorrow my other 10 will be plugged in and also pointed here. I'm excited for this new hobby and hopeful to continue adding machines. I'd just like to thank this forum as it's provided me with a lot of helpful information. Excited to be mining here at Kano and I should have a full 200 + THs here by tomorrow evening.
this is awesome! its gonna knock me down the ladder a few more rungs but its worth it!

For the mobile web interface - there are two options here. 1) Either you go for a Cloud Services subscription and then everything should simply work and you can access it from any network. 2) The other option is to use the built-in web interface where you manually need to configure your router if you want to access the web interface from the outside. If the web interface works on the local network, the work to make it accessible from the outside is about port forwarding configuration in your router.
I may have to do the cloud service because I cannot figure out the port forwarding. but was hoping to avoid the additional cost.

i see the estimated earnings for my gpu/cpu rigs but I see nothing about the earnings my ASICs are making - does AM do that for ASICs? is it pool specific?
Is it that you don't see the Coin name at all in the right column (Coin) in the list of miners? If that's the case you need to inform Awesome Miner which coin you are mining. Please right click on the miner and select Define Pool Coin. If it's about profit after power costs, please use the Profit Profile concept as @zaqwsx pointed out above. was looking more for it to track the rewards within the pool - when I set it up, I had to give it the log in credentials to the pool. So far as I can tell AM is providing me the information as it sees it at the miner - I was curious if it could also provide the information from the pool. for example, I am using kano.is pool for 5 asic's - In the last week, there have been 8 block rewards - can AM report on that, using the rewards and the time spent on the pool to calculate the profitability?

You need to set a profile for you ASIC with the information required (hashrate and power usage). Then you have to specify the coin you are mining. how? I see no option to creating a profile for ASICs - also I cannot figure out how to set it up for accessing AM via mobile. I have tried numerous things and no matter what I do it is still only accessible on network.

I have only that 1,2 Th/s + its lag. I leave on ckpool because they ignore me when I have technical questions. Some doctor says there's are different ways to make BTC 4-7 BTC/24H. I only need one Btc, I know where to get ASIC (Eurasia, Asia, and Russia)
huh?
