If people are healthy and can diagnose disease early is good also for the state/goverment because they can save money. Perhaps public health sector may be interested in financing this project That is a good point. Actually, Goverments are the one who are capable and should be interested in implementing this system in their respective countries. I believe it's still too early to go out to the governmental level. The system needs to be proven working before they make any moves that direction. Public sector doesn't welcome any innovations that easily. That is true, but if the system deliver as advertised can be that at a certain point the public sector could get on board as well. Just speculating off course. by that time the product will have to have great success. the public sector moves at a snails pace, compare to private. Private sector has always to be faster because innovation is a key to success and I think there is an oportunity here. I think after inspecting several hundred thousand people, these machines will show their usefulnes, in case of successful testing it will be possible to reach the state level. I just thought the pharmaceutical industry won't be too enthusiastic when Health Monitor gets widely used and becomes a successful device of early detection of diseases. Especially in the case of an early stage of diabetes often a change of lifestyle is enough and you wouldn't need any medicines. Hello, we have a 5% margin error of blood glucose level. According to ISO 15197 standard for home used glucose test 20% accuracy measurements is normal. Do you actually have some scientific papers where people can see how the device is working and that it really has just 5% of error rate? They have some patent and clinic trials on their website but I didn't check them. Maybe your question get an answer there. Or maybe not, as I said I didn't check them. Well there is one for glucose level, but nothing official released as far as I can see. Also there is nothing about the cancer test. :/ Actually, i think the most important one is with cancer. I think they didn't say cancer accuracy. Telling someone false diabetes not that important but telling someone false cancer could cause a lot. I can't imagine that the monitor tells you 'you have lung cancer'. I think it will point out that some biomarker or values aren't in the normal range and you should consult a doctor for further examination. Well, no matter what, in the end we have to discuss the result with doctor. This is just to help us to respond quickly to our health condition. Most importantly, the results machine does not adversely affect the psyche of people. Imagine a man came to buy gifts daughter to the supermarket and the machine says you have diabetes and lung cancer. What will he do? Imho, this project is at the right timing especially in today's ICO's and exchange's KYC requirements which could eliminate tedious and repetitive tasks which often discourages potential investors.
All those KYC requirements got a big problem cause if you give your personal documents to scammers they can sell it at the darknet. But isn't it that your documents still will be given to the for example ICO holder, just automaticly in the case you participate? I think Selfkey users will only need one time KYC, and this will prevent redundancies every time investors need to participate in an ICO. Yes, of course you just need to make the KYC one time, afterwards you can just register with Selfkey for the ICOs etc. But if you do this, how will your documents be handled? Will it just say "person is real" or will your documents be hand over to the next party too? In this case, your documents will be given away too which would bring you into the situation that your documents could be abused in worst case. I think the DEV team has already considered finding a viable and effective solution with regards to safeguarding user personal data, and I would appreciate if they could clarify this further. I understand that all user data will be stored in one place. As you know nothing lasts forever, and if you want you can get any information, the only question is the amount of funds and feasibility. They already have a working website, basically a platform which allows to search for properties, but if you mean blockchain features like smart contracts, payment with berry token, etc. etc. I believe it's gonna be introduced gradually in 2018 and 2019.
