As I understand it, firstly, it will be a social network, such as Facebook and Twitter, and then there will be trade opportunities, etc.?
and data protection ala Datum as far as I can see

I really like the idea, and I think that VR is our future! But the price for VR devices is still quite high, not all users are ready for such a waste!
Hi! No need to use VR glasses while using our platform. However, you may use VR device if you want to get full immersion. there are also cheaper headsets for use with your mobile phone

It would also help imo having a phone app. It would reach a lot of people and im quite sure would be liked.
I dont understand, why are you posting this here, how is it relevant to Rentberry? Just asking to make sure I am not missing out At the moment you need to look for an apartment and pay through a website, an dedicated app that allow you to do that from your phone would be a better user experience a phone app would be a good idea. most people use their phone as a primary web browsing tool. a dedicated app would improve the experience of a user on a mobile phone.

This project is in Delevopment since 2013 and just recently started Marketing - exemplary! THIS is what the Cryptosphere needs, I wish all projects were more like SelfKey.
Right, having an existing business under KYC-Chain Ltd. since 2013 makes Selfkey a much more valid project as most other ICOs. true that, but I think the fact they will assist with the KYC process is more valuable than people think.

If the developers predict the payback of one device in 2 months, when 30 people a day on average, that is, $ 150 per day, which is $ 9000 for 2 months, why does one device cost $ 5570? Or are installation and operation costs included?
I think that's the calculation. you have to include every type of expense include salaries.

Is it really possible that someone will be interested in buying or selling virtual real estate? Come on, seriously?
Right now, it sounds silly. But if people started shopping in VR world and they are walking in a street full of brand shops and you happen to have a store in that particular VR street, you might be able to rent it because there is high demand. I can see that happening in 100 years, not in the near future It is already happening in New York: https://virtualapt.com/ , this is a private company selling real astate with VR I checked their website, they are using VR to sell real estate, it is brilliant. But its not what we have discussed, we were talking about buying VR real estate, so not in the real world If they are selling real astate through VR, that means there has to be a buyer at the other end right? People check the real state from their moves with the VR movies and decide to buy or not If it's in cyber world, then it's not real estate, or am I mistaken? It would be more accurate to call it virtual real estate or VR estate maybe? I think what he meant is that you scan the real estate and you visit it virtually to get an idea. thus you don't have to physically go on location.

Will health monitor acts like a CT SCAN? A device to see whether there is something wrong with our body or not. To check our health with such device is too expensive. If health monitor will offer lower fee, it could be the best alternative.
I think so. They target popular places like airport. They need to create it as simple as possible, so there will be no crowds in the area. It's pretty weird to put these machines at the airports or malls. Why would people want to get a heart attack at the airports and malls? Why not? those places have the biggest traffic. Maybe some little checkup before going on holiday. And in some cases, there will be some special diseases that should not enter a country. On the flipside, what if countries will start using this to refuse people in. Lets take USA for example, if they use this on their airdrops to scan people, they can randomly start refusing people for having some sort of gen that they dont want in the county neah, won't happen like that with cancer or stuff like that. only diseases that can be transmitted, which is good.

Hello! Nice project, this could make the annoying KYC processes unnecessery or at least easier. Time to take a deeper look inside your project Yeah , people need this. I heard that Civic provide the KYC thing too, so if its true , then SELFKEY will be their competitor. But Selfkey will provide many more features. A comparison between both CIVIC and SELFKEY would be nice. I guess a lot of investors would like to know this to. I agree, what are some features that are setting this project apart? it's great that there's competition though. gives credibility to the idea.

So is the rent going to be collected in cryptocurrency? This would have many pros and cons. Definitely, a challenge to overcome.
They're going to accept both fiat and BERRY, which is a brilliant move unless you think that the world will be ready for crypto only payments in 2019 (imo unlikely) Not even in the next 5 years! We've got a looooooooooong way to go and most blockchain project that don't support fiat or at least in app conversions are not going far! Nah, big things just happened this year. This year is the biggest year for now (from $160 billion to $500 billion crypto market cap) Who knows if in 2018 will be 2 times bigger or 3 times bigger. That means a lot of news, and more people will come. I do expect the market to climb up to astronomical heights in 2018. IF you believe all the gospels then it would be a multitrillion dollar market by end 2018. This could very well be if you have a look at this year . The biggest company in the world didnt hit a trillion $ marketcap yet. Crypto is not a company or buseniss, but I would be suprised if the marketcap would pass them easily. It would be huge news and more fomo if we can say Bitcoin marketcap just passed Google marketcap (about 700b) you're comparing one company to millions of people throughout the world participating in crypto. no exactly fair. we will pass the trillion dollar mark in a year or so. more and more people will join.

I just spent the last 20 minutes on the marketplace demo, and it's friggin awesome! This might be one of the more innovative (or at least NEEDED) ICOs thats been out in a few months.
Awesome job guys!
Yes, finally an ICO with some real innovation. Where can I find the demo, could not find it on the website Here's the link to the demo: https://alpha.selfkey.org/marketplace/ It looks well-made. I would agree here, this project has huge potential and with the support it's getting from investors at this point (more than $8,3 mil raised) it will become a success. The demo is already looking pretty nice. Overall, it's great that the already have an alpha version to show. The demo looks really complicated, but it is an alpha after all. still it's good you have it. can't have an ICO without a product these days.

this looks interesting and seems backed by a good amount of people, with the right exposure. I'm just worried that it has a too low amount of tokens for sale. also dumping is a concern.

As a previous member pointed out, It would indeed be a good idea to have those machines for home use... A lot of people could benefit from this.. I'm just thinking about families with children. It would be even superb if this kind of hardware would work for animals... might sound stupid, but we only think about people, so how about our four legged friends?
Sure , that's a lot of people could benefit from this, But this device is so high-tech that it should be expensive. If for home use , only a small number of people can afford the cost We need to balance the benefit and the values true that, but maybe in the future. also having these in clinics and hospitals would be great.

Is there legal documents required to participate in the platform
Both tenants and landlords have to go through the verification process which is performed by our security partners, so technically no documents are required. but wouldn't that mean that your security partners require documents?

I can see that happening in 100 years, not in the near future Just look at online games, people are spending money for much sillier things than this and 10 years ago you would swear that no one would would give one cent for online items and collectables. If you look at it now, there are millions of dollars spent for "useless" item in games. I will add to this also, here the virtual real estate has a commercial orientation. This property can be used as an online store, an online office, as well as a virtual meeting place. The possibility for VR application use cases are almost endless and this will become common to our lives in the near future. I agree, for example - recent case with crypto-kittens - was sold painted cat = 250k dollars. People are willing to pay for something that can't be touched i hope it's gonna get used on something a little more important than kitties. but considering their popularity, I'm not holding my breath.

If this device finds disease, we need another ICO for the medicine
I do not know much about diabetes, but if you are talking about cancer there is certainly room for innovation. If Health Monitor will indeed be able to indicate lung cancer in the earliest stages, then we should develop treatments that are highly focused in contrast to the chemo and wide area radiation therapies. these machines will help to detect the disease at early stage. Although this will be bad news - but if know about it at early stage, it will be easier to cope with the disease - maybe without chemo and wide area radiation therapies. a lot of types of cancers have higher chances of survive ability if detected early. that's the point of the health monitor. what I'm wondering is if you guys can make a portable version.

I think these machines will not be able to give 100% accurate result. In studies of this type there will always be errors. But even if this percentage of accuracy is high, then this will benefit humanity.
I'm not knowledgable enough to say if these machines will work fine or not. I'm more thinking about the morality of the system. Imagine this machine tells you that you may have cancer on an airport.. before a very long flight ... what would go through your mind? Hmm.... very good guess, I hadn't even thought of. But the test result is not a diagnosis. Only a number of clinical tests can accurately a final diagnosis. it's not the machine's job to diagnose you with cancer, more like warn you that you may have a problem with your health. seek a medical professional.

It has been already talked about. But I can't blame you, it is a very active thread and even myself can't find what did I write 3 days ago. maybe that's not such a bad thing. new users won't sit thru dozens of pages of posts, so bringing up valuable information from time to time would help them.

You have hard cap in 30 mln$. But eth growing like crazy now. You have fixed hard cap in usd or in ETH? Hello Magisterr, Thanks for your question. The limit is fixed in USD and we are checking the rate every 5 minutes via Kraken. Thank you. But price fixed in ETH? 1 ETH = 2,500 BERRY? or now, more tokens for 1 eth? Due to the recent price increase for Ether it would make much more sense to have an adjustable rate of BERRYs per ETH. I agree. you guys have had bad luck with the recent surge of ETH pricing.
