881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency? on: September 27, 2018, 06:06:58 AM
Things that mke me trust in a new cryptocurrency are:
- Whitepaper
- team's previous experience
- social media activity
- other websites references to it
- achievement of milestones

If you search for a strong new cryto project, I recommend you to have a look to Staker project. (more details in my signature)
882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: September 27, 2018, 06:01:07 AM
Bitcoin will be adopted more and more in the future. 100 years is not much when compared to what will happen in 500 years. It pretty much goes without saying. In a 5 year span (from 1993 to 1998), we went from having a grand total of 600 websites on the internet to having 1,117,255 websites on the internet (one of which, was Google). That is exponential growth. In a 5 year span, we saw the birth of Napster, the dotcom bubble burst, the death of Napster, and the creation of Wordpress. In a 5 year span, we saw the birth of Wordpress (as previously mentioned), the birth of Facebook, the birth of Youtube, the birth of Twitter, and the release of the first iPhone. In 2008, there were no Bitcoin. 5 years later, 1 BTC cost more than $1,000.

I guess what I'm saying is to not discount the power of a 5-year timespan.
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: September 27, 2018, 05:59:13 AM
In my country (East-Europe) i can pay all my bills using Bitcoin, i can pay my fly ticket using bitcoin, i already pay my webhost + domain using bitcoin, i can withdraw my bitcoin using ATMS (5-7% Fees) but i can do that.

In United Kingdom is the same you can do everything with bitcoin everyone accept bitcoin as a payment method and i see some merchants from Alibaba accept bitcoin (I dont try, too risky)

P.S in United Kingdom Escorts and some Erotic Massage accept bitcoin (i dont try it but i will do for sure )
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: September 26, 2018, 07:54:12 PM

I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO. I need advice from you. please give me a list of trusted ico

If you don't care about your 5 ETH, you can invest them into an ICO, but most probably you will lose partly or totally your investments as majority of ICOs are unprofitable or scams.

I would recommend you to have a look to non-ICO projects. They are usually less risky and more reliable, as they are built around dedicated communities.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: September 26, 2018, 07:50:27 PM
Each option has advantages and inconveniences. Trading works only if you are a very experienced trader, but even so, the risks are very high.

If you are less experienced, bounty is definitely a way better option. However, you should perform a lot of research before applying for a bounty, as many if them are scams.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ICO's are killing Bitcoin. on: September 26, 2018, 07:47:01 PM
I would rather say that ICOs are killing the trust in altcoins and new projects investments than killing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is too big to be killed. If something will go wrong with Crypto generally speaking, Btc will be the one turning the lights off.

If you think about investing, try to avoid ICOs. non-ICO based projects are more reliable and les risky.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tactics When Market is Falling on: September 25, 2018, 04:30:16 AM
If you believe in cryto and have enough patience, the best tactics when market is falling is to buy as much as you can.

One if cryto golden rules is to buy cheap and sell high. And maybe more important than this is to never panic sell. You should not invest more than you can afford to risk/lose as cryto market is still very volatile.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: September 25, 2018, 04:22:45 AM
The answer to this question is only one: hardware wallet. You pay for it once but you sleep better every single day.

A good alternative to it could be a paper wallet, too, but ... it's paper, meh.

Do not hold your cryto in Exchanges because sooner or later they might be hacked. Hackers are everywhere in cryto world and not only, so take care.

891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price? on: September 24, 2018, 04:21:59 AM
Humans have evolved to hate change, it's nothing new that people dont like an internet currency, but the truth is, the world is becoming digital, and currency needs to make that transition, it is happening and it will be succesful. There are too many Intelligent investors for it not to happen. Sure people are abusing the market now, but wait until it gets regulated, that's is when the big boys are coming in.

The real issue is, everyone buys bitcoin hoping to make money, the smart money will go into the Altcoins with real value. Stay away from bitcoin, it is obsolete and will die sooner or later. Dont stick with it because you hate change.
892  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three things not to do when Bitcoin prices are down on: September 24, 2018, 04:16:30 AM
Panick sell is the worst thing you can do when price is down.

I think no one can know what is expected for Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Unlike what a lot of people think December was the best thing ever happened to Bitcoin, since then so many developments started for a better technology and for easier UX; with the purposes of mass adoption.
It's really all about DEVELOPMENT, more things need to come and become better and if everything will go right then Bitcoin can reach 1m easily.
Exactly as it is? Bitcoin will die to $0. But the good thing is that it's always getting improved by protocols and third-party developments.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive in "cashless society" ?? on: September 24, 2018, 04:12:19 AM
I doubt we will move to a cashless society any time soon at least not in my life time, and then once that happens you need to have a universal currency everyone can accept.. as a global community we can't even agree to cut emissions or try and move to greener fuels so add X years to that figure. The way I see it is crypto will never replace a currency system instead I think there will be more adaption for the block chain tech more than anything else, to trace where food comes from, parcel tracking, communication, storage that's the true value of the tech not £/$/€
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: September 21, 2018, 06:22:08 AM
If you look for altcoins to invest, I recommend you to look for coins that were not pumped yet. It's hard to believe that coins that raised with 200x-1000x in 2017 will have an important raise again anytime soon. Many of them were just part of very smart pump and dump schemes, so stay away from them.

I started to invest in non-ICO projects with high potential. What I look for when I look for such projects is: Whitepaper, team's experience, social media activity, milestones already fillet etc. You can find a great project in my signature if you're interested.
895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: September 21, 2018, 06:17:21 AM
The safest option to keep your Bitcoin away from hackers is to buy a hardware wallet. (Nano Ledger S is the best, it's cheaper than Tresor and it does pretty much the same thing).

I don't recommend you to keep your Btc on exchanges, as they have been hacked many times, or on personal PC wallets, as you never know when you might be infected with a malware that could let you without your holdings.

So, if you want to sleep better, just buy a hardware wallet. It's a one time investment, but it deserves every single penny.

897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Frustrates You Most When Using Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2018, 04:36:29 AM
I'm a bit dissatisfied that BTC does not become a currency but a holding asset. I used to be that guy who would debate BTC/Crypto whenever someone said it was a fad or bubble. It wasnt at that time (or so I felt).

BTC was supposed to be a currency and that was it's value. Most people I see today are using it as an investment vehicle, which is not what it is. Hence, when people realize this sooner or later, the market might crash because it is not what they think it is.
898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A simple proof that Bitcoin has zero value on: September 20, 2018, 04:31:15 AM
On that principle all the money is essentially "zero value". Crypto, old school dollars whatever.

None of it is real because it is based on nothing of substance. Gold is locked away in the US vaults never to come out and is not big enough to back everyone's money. The Britsh Pound? Equated to one pound of gold once.

Now if you ask for your gold back from The USA you get invaded and deposed ... Gradafi, Sadam etc.

So, just because Bitcoin is a bit flimsy? It matter not.

As long as people honour it's value through services good etc ... Who cares?

Now, if they stop hooping it? That is a different story.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: September 19, 2018, 06:10:45 AM
Personally, I don't trust these websites anymore. There was a time when they were a trust source of making an idea about ICOs, but today every scam project can pay some cryto to get good reviews, then as soon as ICO finishes they vanish.

I would recommend non-ICO based projects instead of ICOs.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect Scam ICO/ potential fail projects on: September 19, 2018, 06:06:57 AM
To detect the high potential of an ICO to become a scam you need to do a lot of research. Through the key points to look for:
- website (design + protocol - https to be always used instead of http)
- Whitepaper
- social media activity
- team experience in other projects
- milestones achievement if you're in after ICO
- references on other websites.

I would highly recommend you to have a look to non-ICO projects. (have a look to Staker project in my signature if you're interested)
