Okay guys i really need some help.
I got 12 Ati Saphire 290 a few days ago.  At first i was thinking of building 3 rigs with 4 cards each. However right now it seems impossible.
Here is my config :
mobo - ASUS FMA85-V PRO
CPU - AMD A4-400 APU
RAM - 4GB
GPU - 4xATI saphire 290
PSU - 2 x 750w
PCI-E EXT - 1x-16x with power


Okay so first of all, please tell me what do you think of all parts. Should i change anything ?
Right now i am having a shitload of problems ... cards are shutting down, even the second PSU is shutting down sometimes.
I understood that the PSU's are not strong enough. I am measuring ~750-760 on the 1-st PSU where its 2 cards + mobo etc. Each card is consuming about 330 watt + mobo etc. So this i think this is the first problem.
I am about to get corsair 1200 platinum so this should fix this problem.

So pretty much please tell me what is the best config for 3 ( if possible 4 290 ATI saphire cards ). Right now i have the feeling that PSU + mobo can not handle the 290's and they simply fail. If i have to i will run 3x on each mobo and get 1 more but do you think the problem is simply in the PSU or maybe the mobo/CPU/RAM  also make problems ?

Please help me, its soooooo frustrating to have 12 cards and not to be able to mine with them !

With this i am getting 900 with 690 watt for the whole system. If i get powertune to 20 and memclock to 1500 i can get 915 but it gets unstable and more power so its not worth it. I can get even 950 if/960 if i get the engine on 1100 but again, power goes and it gets more unstable.
Still wheni get into afterburder the voltage is locked, at trixx its at 0 and i can only move up to 200 ( so i guess its locked also ? ).
So does that mean that the cards are voltage locked ? If yes do i need to get a new bios for them or i can change the voltage from the conf ?

The bigger problem right now is that i simply can NOT get the 4 cards running on any of the configs i have.
On one of the rigs i have GIGABYTE Z87X and on the other ASUS A85-V, both configs are with Win 7 64, SSD 64gb hard drivers ( cheaper then usual HDD's ) , 4g of ram . On the gygabite rig i am using Intel G3220 on the ASUS AMD A4 400.

So when i have 2 cards its all okay, its mining etc. When i get more then that i either can not even get past the first windows logo or i sometimes get into windows where it starts installing the devices and then i get the blue screen and its out.

Do i have to do anything special to get 4 GPU's running in WIN7 ? Need help !

Hey all, i would really appreciate some help !

Yesterday while i was waiting for the extenders i got x2 on each motherboard. I got them running at 915khs and the total consumption for the PC was 705-710 watt. I keep the window open ( its about 0 to 1 Celsius right now ) and they stay on 72(74 during the day when its hotter ) with fan on 75%.  I did not undervolt yet but will try to do that tomorrow. So my first question , what is the best tool to do that ? I was planing on using Trixx, if this is okay, what Voltage will you suggest ? 
Okay so my second problem is that windows 7 did not recognize the 4-th card. I have all of them connected, all runs well but i see only 3 cards, 4-th is missing. What could the problem be ? Any ideas on fixing that ?

915khs i think is great, they also are on a great temperature so i think if i manage to cut the power consumption with about 50 watt, everything will be just great. Btw what would be the optimal setting for this card in regards of khs/watt.

Hope to be able to spend more time on the coin after i finish setting up everything, it seems its not so easy to set up 20 rigs So many problems with electricity, noise and what not.

Transcoder is back here, working on it. So it all looks great.
After spending some time looking at the logos etc i agree with judyballhairy that actually the logo is great and does not need any changes. Still i do not see anything bad in making a CSC accepted here logo, we do not even have to use it, but better to have it if needed

I am very happy that transcoder is back and i would love to hear what he has to say about developing the coin, adding more developers into it etc.

Also the idea of creating a foundation/committee that thinks of the future of the coin and is driven by the community sounds amazing. Again, lets hear what transcoder and casinocoin have to say about it. I am sure that with something like that this coin has a very nice future.

About the 2 web pages, to be honest i do not care what the name will be, but i still think that one official web page, with one official logo etc, one official forum ( just as judyballhairy said ) will be the best.
Right now both web pages look decent but we want them to look great, so maybe we can think in that direction ? Getting a better design ? Thoughts ?

I think that the main thing as many people pointed out is to add csc to as many exchanges as possible. Some one said that maybe they will be interested in adding the coin if they get some starting CSC balance so they can trade it also ? Would something like that really work ? And about what amount are we talking - 20k ? 40k ?

About casinos, right now pretty much no casino would use CSC for the simple reason that you can NOT exchange CSC-USD. I pointed that out a few times and also explained the way i think it should work in my long post on page 47.
Even if BTC/LTC might be the better option right now, if we manage to get the system of auto transforming CSC - USD and the other way around and we get a few rooms to start using it, things will start going up and many rooms will prefer CSC for the name and its purpose ( ofc with our help )

I am thinking of trying to contact some of the smaller operators i have worked with in the past and try to see if some of them might be interested in adding up a game that can be played ONLY with CSC for the moment. So my idea is that the room add's a CSC wallet, people will be able to get CSC to the casino. They will be able to play ONLY this one CSC game with this balance. The other games will be still playable only with fiat money. After that any CSC winnings could be withdrawn ONLY via CSC wallet. Pretty much no CSC-USD transactions inluded.
I think that if i can get even 1 real room to start doing that, this will boos the coin a lot.
So tell me what you think and i might try to do that this month.

Another question i had, what graphic materials do we need ? I can get some right now but i have to tell the designer what we are looking for. Are we happy with the Logo ? The actual Chip logo ? CSC Accepted here, should it be something simple and clean like the BTC accepted here ? CSC banner that we can switch with other forums,web pages etc, what should the slogan on it be ( it wont be java, just simple banner for the start ). And where should this banner lead to after we put it on other pages ? If its something like CSC - the future of gambling ( for example ) - when people click it, where will it lead - i personally think that we need a very strong landing page with full explanation about CSC ( how it works etc ) and all places where you can trade/play with it.

I am sorry to hear transcoder has health problems, i hope he gets well fast !
But i think this is exactly the problem, a successful coin can not be a one man army. There have to be other people that can step in when some one has problems. Its only natural for people to have different problems.
I did never personally talk to transcoder so i don't know his opinion but i just think it would be great to have at least 2 ( the more the better ) people working on the coding part of the coin.


My idea about the pages is exactly that - get all in one place, and remove all the confusion ( 2 logo's etc, people wondering are there 2 casino coins ? )


I think that any one can help to the coin, even if you dont have skills that are required right now and you can not make any donations, that is just fine. There are plenty of ways to contribute, you can talk to other people, when the FB page is up , you can help to promote it, if you are using other forums, you can start a thread there and talk about the coin etc. ACTIVITY is the key, when there is no fuzz about the coin, its slowly gonna die. As soon as there is a plan on how to proceed, and major things are fixed, i will make sure to start a thread in every big poker forum out there i know and if the community itself supports it, we can get a lot more people into the coin.


Yes we need a CSC - USD exchange, but right now i do not think this is possible. Still, we do not need to hurry, lets first get a running web page with all on it, lets get more people talking about the coin, then lets get it on all alt currency exchanges with a somewhat stable prize and THEN we can think on other things. Right now the only exchange is Cryptsy with VERY low volume, if we do not change that, they might even remove the coin ! No one will be happy about that. The coin has so much more potential then half of the coins on other exchanges, just no real strategy.


Yes all gambling operators are using fiat. So no one will implement a special chip at this moment. And the real future of the coin lies in the gambling operators. So even if its hard, its better to think in the right direction from the start.

This is another reason i think that the casino coin should be used to fund the accounts with fiat. And not as an actual chip. Maybe in the future when its more stable we can think also of that but right now it would be madness for any player to do it. As you said he can deposit for example 100CSC that are worth 10$, then he plays for 2 hours and has 300 CSC but the prize has gone drastically down so now he has 8$.
One of the main things that have to be considered with gambling is that the bigger % of people ( anyone that is not doing it for a living ) want to have FUN ! they want to deposit - player - eventually withdraw , if they don't loose it all  ). And looking for exchange rates, waiting to withdraw until the prize goes up etc - that's not really the definition of fun  So well i said how i see things in my long post, if any one cares to read that long haha

There have been some really good comments in the last few days. Its good to see that there are people wanting this coin to succeed.
But i think we need a good plan in order to make this happen.
Right now casinocoin is doing a great great job with making the first casino etc but in order for the coin to go up we need some gambling operators to start accepting it.
This is still in the future as there is a lot to be done before proposing the casinocoin to any one.

I said some of the things already a few times but i will say them again.
First of all i think that there has to be a clear idea of who is working on the coin. After all people have to know if the coin is secure = is some one working actively on improving and maintaining the coin itself ?
And this person/persons have to be active in the thread, people tend to loose fate if they don't see the creator of the coin - after all, if he does not think his coin has a future why should they ? ( its just my opinion, i do not mean anything bad ). Of course the community has to support  this person, right now i guess the best way is with donation. I personally will be very happy to regularly  donate if i see that the coin is improving and work is being done.

After that there is the team that cares for the marketing of the coin.
- amazing logo
- great banners
- advertising ( banner exchange ) anywhere possible, even the smallest web pages are great help. Forum threads in different forums.
- web page that has great looks and everything on the coin in one place. pretty much a place where a person that hears for crypto currency for the first time can come and easily understand all about casino coin.
* that includes various guides with pictures, information on how to buy, sell, mine, play with the coin, best and most secure way to keep the coin ( people are really afraid of being hacked )
* profitability calculator, current and expected difficulty
* all exchanged and current rates
* and most importantly - all places that accept the coin, all places the coin is being discussed
* i am sure there is more then that but even that would be an amazing start

right now there are 2 pages for the code - one made by the creator ( transcoder ) and one made by casinocoin  - this looks strange to be honest and i think this can push people back. Why not gather the efforts and make all in the same place ?

So if we have this 2 teams working actively together then for sure there will be a bright future for the coin. But i definitely think that the key to all is working together. All people that want to help in one of the teams should have some sort of skype group, IRC chat, or anything like that. Pretty much a place where they can discuss and plan the future of the coin.


Now i would like to say some thoughts on the gambling side. I have been in this business since A LOT of time. As a player, as a poker manager in pretty big rooms and now i am running a very successful affiliate web page. So i will give my point of view.

All gambling operators look for one thing only - profit. So if you can offer them a way to increase the profit, they will like the idea and jump in. No one will go after the idea just cuz its great.
So what can the casino coin offer them ?
For one its the low transaction fees, as stated in a previous comment, Credit card charge backs are not very nice. Even transactions to Skrill, Netteler are way bigger then what casino coin can provide.
But how will the players use the coin ? And i think this is the most important part.
Right now if we say a big company wants to use the coin. The games everywhere are in USD/EU whatever currency. So to think that they will change that and start using casino coin is madness.
The idea should be to use casino coin as one of the options for funding the players account.
But how will that happen ? The player will deposit CSC to his wallet in the room, after that he has to convert his funds to the desired currency and play with it - after that he can either convert back or keep it. Pretty much as
the exchange between diff currency works at Pokerstars.
The problem that i see at this moment is that the room has to convert the players CSC to cash, then the room has to convert the CSC -> BTC and THEN BTC>cash. And no room will do that manually. Even if its just CSC-> cash the exchange has to be done automatically  : player deposits 1000 CSC, then sends a request to transfer 1000 CSC -> Cash, room give's him a rate , exchanges 1000CSC for cash and in the same time give's him the money.
So i think that the main thing to be done here is a program that can do that automatically. So when we go to the gambling operators we give them a full solution.
Meaning - you get the full package. You get CSC implemented on your web page and then you get this program that works with Cryptsy, Coin-e, any exchange that accepts coins. When the player requests to buy cash for CSC, the program automatically gives him the exchange rate and when he presses the BUY button, the program automatically sells the amount at the exchange and give's him the money.

Okay its starting to get a very long post and i think not many people will read it
To end it i just want to say that i love the idea of the coin ! I will do all i can to support it. I can provide help with logo,banner, graphic designs ( just not web page design atm ) , i can provide facebook support and if i see that the people behind are working actively on the coin i will even fund FB campaigns myself. When we are ready i can start negotiations with gaming operators.
Right now i will donate a bit more and hope to get everyone excited on the coin, i hate seeing it loose value on the exchanges, lets change that !
I am sending another 250 CSC to casino coin and i will be very happy to donate some more to transcoder when he comes back !

Also, isnt it a good idea that all links work on http://casinoco.in/ ? I think currently Tutorials, Forum and Support are not working, there are so many helpful guides about mining, why dont we just link to them ? or if that is not an option, if some one re writes them so they are good for CSC ?


The last suggestion i have is about facebook, with a decent fb campaign we can get a lot of attention to casino coin. I can find a lot of groups so the reach would be very nice. Facebook ads would also do a great job, i would donate my self some in that direction and if all works fine this can continue on donations ?


I simply love the idea behind the casino coin and think there is a lot of room for improvement. There are just a lot of simple things that can be done that will have a significant affect.

Okay i am thinking of jumping into the middlecoin pool as soon as the fix is out. Still i have a few questions and would appreciate it if some one can help me out.

1. after reading the last 30 pages i saw that currently everyone is using cg miner 3.1.1 and also a bit modified. Will that still be necessary after the fix or 3.7.2 will be fine ?
2. this would be the first time that i will be mining at a multi coin pool, so do i have to do anything special with my settings ? I am currently using cg miner 3.7.2 with CG Watcher.
3. Should i add the USA server ( if i am using the EU server originally ) as back up pool, or should i add some other pools as well ?
4. Any other general tips on multi coin pool mining ?

I have about 20 000 khs but i with so many people jumping into lite coin i guess its gonna be less and less profitable to mine, so such multi coin pools are just great.
