Hello everyone ! Been watching the market closely lately and might be increasing my SLG amount again. I just got slightly over 100k of SLG I bought some for 9000 (nearly double of what it is now) but don't really feel bad for it. If we need buy support to keep it over 5000, I'm sure we can arrange that as community. I think price will be over 10k next month. *Sarcasm on* There is still over 3 million coins that is going the flood the market over the next 3 months during the POW phase. I don't think there is enough btc in the world that will keep it above 5000 satoshi. *Sarcasm off* You do sound like a panic dumper who is trying to fud price back down lol Let me do some simple maths... 0.00005000 X 3,000,000 = BTC150. So let's guess at 10 weeks POW left. We need 15btc each week. In the last 7 days we have had over 2.5btc buys Every day which is over 15 a week so we will see price rises. You could argue that buy volume might decrease but more and more people are hearing about SLG everyday and buying in and joining the community. Chances are slim of falling that's my 2pence for you to mull over. He may of been being sarcastic. I really don't get the sarcasm there lol |

Just a tip if you trading on cryptsy or bittrex, just place a buy order slightly above the next person, even 1 satoshi will do. Multipools are mining about 50% of the POW and they just dumping out. So don't buy to the sell orders, just let the multipools dump out to your buy orders. Multipools are mining about 50% of the POW ?, maybe 95%... yesterday 1 user put 1 btc 5250 (buy) in 10 second was take by Multipools. POW is closing in on 20% complete by end of the week. We should be thanking the multipools for these low prices , unless you one of those people that need to pay bills with money you make off cryptos at the end of the month. I will personally be putting 1-2 btc into Sterling end of each month so if price goes down to 1000 I will be getting a shitload of coins. Here is to hoping! I know we still have a couple of months of POW left but I don't really see SLG dropping to 1000 sat. More and more interest everyday is keeping the price where it is, it's only a matter of time before we see the price climb slowly up until the end of POW. |

The new merchants are awesome! I can't wait to get my very own bar of silver/gold mostly. But buyers beware, we need to sustain this 5k price, someone is selling out around 5k and trying to buy back in at 3500. Lets make sure this was their biggest mistake and not ours!
It will mean having to out buy the multipool dumps, I will be using 2 btc from my next salary to buy SLG. Hopefully it stays this price for both btc and slg. Price has flat lined pretty much for 5 days now, no risk of multipool dumps ruining price in my opinion we have large buy orders to fill them. Maybe see a dip down to 4200 over night at times, but 5k is defo here to stay!! |

Can Sterlingcoin be found in just Alternate cryptocurrencies? If not, i suggest starting one there, as many people are not interested in new coins after the last million scam coins they all got stung by.

I see only 10 active connections in the network with an open stakewallet? seems to me this amount is very low. We need more stakers and less traders to make the network rocksolid
I think because of POW phase you can make a lot more Sterling selling high then buying in low as the multipools dump out, but I will start staking when I transfer my funds. I completely agree with the above comment. Why would you stake your coins when at this point there are so many coins being dumped so cheap. I haven't got an endless supply of BTC as i just invest what i can at the start of every month. I started my SLG investment with 0.5 BTC and for that at the time i could only get roughly 2500 coins. Now at current price now i have managed to sell high and buy low and now have a stack of over 7500. This is not the time for a large solid network, POS is the time for that. I am just being smart, as i'm sure everyone else is too. So don't be put off by the small wallet network. EDIT: having said all that, i have just transferred 1000 to my wallet to start staking. So i'm doing my bit for the network |

Doesn't look like your family and friends will be receiving many coins! Seems the larger volume sells have tailed off. We may start to see a slight price increase. Im holding/Staking now. Still don't understand why this coin is unpopular on the exchanges, when other coins are all hype and broken promises by anonymous people. |

Of course  Spencer Lievens is currently working on the addition of a live Bittrex feed to the wallet and a Sterlingcoin to £ Converter and also the Android standalone wallet. Steven Saxton is working on the Faucet and the tweaking the 'Paper Wallet Creator' to perform better on mobile. Matthew Langdon is working on the sterlingcoinapi.org.uk online wallet system, adding address search/live exchange price/bagholders to the explorer and also the Android wallet. Collectively as a team we are constantly looking for merchants, having interviews with various media outlets, promoting Sterlingcoin full-time, assisting the community via email, within the IRC channel, Skype and Teamviewer. just a quick question for the tech guys out there im thinking of buying a sapphire 280x to replace my xfx 6870
as far as I can tell from googling both cards under load are around 250watts so I shouldn't need a new psu
does anyone disagree with this from their own experience of running a 280x
Any decent brand of PSU over 400W will be able to handle a 280X (250 for GPU and around 70W for CPU etc). I had 2 on my machine with a Corsair 650W. On my rig we had 6 280X's with two Platinum rating (can't remember the make) 1200W PSU's. Maybe overkill, but it was the cheapest workable option leaving room for upgrades... Sold up though as mining became unprofitable when ASIC's kicked in. Even with SLG at this price i don't understand how miners are mining it to even cover the electric bill. |
