If Bayern Munchen could sign Kane sooner, maybe Kane could make a contribution to them because he had more time to adapt. But I see Tuchel as frustrated after their defeat in the Final, of course he has a lot to do to evaluate the squad going forward.

Kane played in the second half in place of Mathys Tel, I think in their opening game in the Bundesliga Kane will score.
This was a very unpleasant debut match for Kane, of course, because Bayern Munich had to accept a 0-3 defeat to Leipzig. Harry Kane had a chance to feature for Bayern Munich in the second half, but unfortunately he was unable to make much of a difference in the final result. Of course, this result was very disappointing, especially since Bayern Munich could actually control the game, but failed to score until the end of the game.

Thomas Tuchel was really disappointed with the results obtained by Bayern Munich in the DFL Supercup. He apologized for the loss, but Leipzig can really maximize their chances well in front of Bayern Munich's goal and they managed to score 3 goals to win the DFL Supercup title today. Congratulations to Leipzig, great celebration for them.

Was wondering how the PSG team would be like without Mbappe starting or not playing for the team again.
The team's goal stats have fallen drastically, but only if PSG don't have another striker who is qualified and has good finishing. But I don't see that there so far especially after their first match which ended goalless. Everyone failed to score against Lorient although some of them had good chances to break the deadlock.

This season they are without Messi and now Mbappe, is really going to be worrisome because I don't see anybody to fit in those positions of Messi and Mbappe, even if the have, they can't play like those two. With Neymar Jr in the team with him always on the injury list I don't see this team doing well at all, they can do well in the league but outside this France ligue 1 it would be hard, and now they can't score a goal against Lorient, this game might even end in a draw.
I wouldn't be surprised if in the end PSG failed to win any titles this season if they didn't have great strikers and wingers. PSG have signed Dembele from Barcelona and maybe that would be a great addition following Messi's departure, but Luis Enrique has basically been left bewildered by his pick of the best line-up of the season.

Neymar is also rumored to leave PSG in the near future, it will add a lot of work for Enrique to find the right players in his main line-up. Asensio has not performed optimally, as have several newcomers this season.

If you are referring to diversification for the mere sake of it (because you think that there is a benefit to that), then you are wrong.  Things can go wrong.. because you dilute your investment and you lack focus.

Alternatively, if you are believe that diversification into shitcoins constitutes any kind of meaningful diversification, then you are wrong.  Things can go wrong.. because again you are diluting your investment into nonsense.. including into a field that is already correlated to bitcoin.. so shitcoins move along with bitcoin, so if you diversify into them, you are merely adding more risk to an already risky investment area (namely bitcoin).. and the general idea of getting benefits from diversification comes from investing in differing categories of asset classes (hopefully not correlated), and traditionally those differing categories of asset classes would be equities (stocks), bonds (various kinds of debt instruments), properties, commodities and various kinds of cash exposure.  Surely some of the recent problems with the various lack of non-correlation, even with the traditionally different categories, is that so many of them are corrupted by the various ways that the categories are tending to be overly leveraged by various ways that the dollar (and other fiat currencies) are propped up in ways that natural market dynamics are not allowed to take place.. and even shitcoins actually incorporate some of the various fiat corruptions in varying ways that are not necessarily consistent between them, but does not seem to be a justification to "diversify" into those varying kinds of smoke and mirror products for the mere sake of "being diversified".
JayJuanGee, I understand your point as well as your explanation here. After all I don't want to suggest someone diversify into altcoins if they basically have better options than that. Gold, property and a few other options are investment assets that allow them to earn returns, but I wouldn't be able to fully blame it if someone among us also secretly invested in altcoins as an effort to diversify its assets.

We are in the same space where the investments we make are recognized as risky actions. The goal of diversification is to gain and minimize the risk of loss and maximizing returns, but of course one can make mistakes that increase the risk of loss. I also don't want to talk too much about altcoins though I may not be the only person thinking about diversification.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: August 12, 2023, 07:55:12 PM
Interestingly, bookmakers are giving odds of 2.1 on a Real Madrid win... This is their first match this season without Benzema and Bilbao is not an easy opponent... But I think Real can win today... To compete with Barcelona this season they need to pick up points from the start... Bilbao judging by the friendly matches are not in the best shape, although the same can be said about Real Madrid...
I also think about the same thing, of course it's about winning Real Madrid.
I know Real Madrid is a bit different without Benzema in the squad, but Real Madrid shouldn't always rely on one player to do well all season. We have Vinicius, Rodrygo as players who can have a positive impact on the game, also we have Bellingham who can be expected to do well in attack.

After that, I don't think Real Madrid should think too much about Barcelona. Real Madrid must play well for themselves and win as many points as possible. The competition will obviously be very tight if Barcelona can perform as well as last season, but I don't expect Real Madrid to be affected by that.

I didn't hear much when Courtois was injured. It turned out that he had an ACL injury, and it seemed to take a while to heal. But maybe it won't be a problem because the transfer market is still quite open so they still have time to shop for goalkeepers. In addition, they currently have Lunin, there is Lucas Canizares, the main goalkeeper of the Real Madrid Castilla academy, and Fran Gonzalez, who is the main goalkeeper of Real Madrid, Juvenil A. Indeed, there are many rumors that Anceloti is hunting for a goalkeeper, Sevilla's main names are Yassine Bounou, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Hugo Lloris, Keylor Navas, but it seems that De Gea's options are also good on a free transfer.
AakZaki, it looks like Real Madrid will soon complete a loan transfer for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for one season. I have just received news that Kepa Arrizabalaga has agreed to join Real Madrid even if only on loan. Fabrizio Romano also seemed to have confirmed that in a Twitter post a few hours ago, so Real Madrid are unlikely to be too troubled as long as Thibaut Courtois is out injured.

Kepa Arrizabalaga would be a good signing to replace Thibaut Courtois, but it will all depend on his form when he plays. Today Real Madrid will play Andriy Lunin as goalkeeper, but I think he is the best choice at the moment. Ancelotti also left out Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the first half and he has opted for Camavinga, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde in midfield. I hope that all the players in the main line-up can play their best so that victory can be expected to come true.

Aston Villa's defense was completely undermined today by Newcastle. I never expected Newcastle to be this strong at the start of the season but they played really well today. I was really surprised by their performance but Newcastle have been very, very good since last season.

Newcastle are partying today, of course it's because they have scored 5 goals all game. The temporary score is 5-1 and I think it will soon be over to make Unai Emery rack his brains to restore his team's confidence in the next game.
887  Economy / Speculation / Re: Volatility and its effect on: August 11, 2023, 09:59:34 PM
Bitcoin is known for being a volatile cryptocurrency and that's how it will always be, we should forget about the cases of instances whereby we experience dip and bull in bitcoin market and we often say much on the bear than when we have the bull, have we even consider it that it was during the bear market that we have fear of missing out to be very common, even some people holding will try to sell if think otherwise, but bitcoin has always been this volatile base on it demand and corresponding supply and the two will always have effect on the market.
Volatility is inseparable, it will surely be there forever for bitcoin trading. That is why everyone is warned about the risks of trading and investing, this is meant to let them understand that volatility can be both detrimental and profitable. Traders and investors must properly understand price volatility in order for them to benefit from it. After all, volatility is needed by traders in order to take advantage of the market.
888  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or Why not? on: August 11, 2023, 09:51:03 PM
If you’re comparing charts to previous cycles then there is typically one more large correction before blast off. This could happen anytime in the next 10 months. It could be from some news event people overreact to, or more likely to me is that it could result from profit taking after the halving event. I urge people to strongly buy if that does happen.
I also think that that is the worst case scenario that investors need to consider. Even if they believe that there won't be a bigger correction in the next 10 months leading up to the halving, I think DCA is a good strategy to consider. While it's good to maintain optimism and confidence about the best price ahead of the halving, some past patterns also can't be completely ignored especially if they really want to build a good investment portfolio.

I agree that if a big correction in the next 10 months does happen, then I hope accumulation is the option that the average investor really does. But let's hope not, it must be better.

We know hiring better players and spending too much money can't be the reason for the teams to have a better performance against each other and we just saw that about Real Madrid and Barcelona, Barcelona spent less money than Real Madrid but they won the friendly match they had. This can be the reason to say regardless of the financial issues in Barcelona I think they can also have the chance to even race for the title in the Champions League.
Financially sound Real Madrid could easily build the squad they want, but I admit that was not the only reason why we won the title. Barcelona, which is continuously rumored to be in poor financial condition, actually impressed in many pre-season matches including when they beat Real Madrid, but that is also not a benchmark that can be the reason that Barcelona will win La Liga this season.

Xavi as a former Barcelona midfield maestro really understands Barcelona well. He works sincerely and builds the quality of his team very well. He has learned a lot from his failures despite the fact that Barcelona's squad depth cannot be expected to succeed in the Champions League. I believe Real Madrid won't beat Barcelona easily, but Real Madrid are a team better prepared to do it.

So after 2 months, Haaland took exactly 4 minutes to score a goal.

What a beast, already scored 2 goals in the 1st game of the season.
Absolutely and I think he's still going to be the best this season. Haaland will also lose out on the competition for top scorer this season after Kane agreed to move to Bayern Munich. He seems to be very comfortable leading the top scorers table because I don't know who will be his toughest rival this season.

In a few days, Manchester City will face Sevilla for the UEFA Super Cup. Manchester City looks set to win the title after they failed to win the Community Shield against Arsenal. Victory over Burnley will be a boost for the players to win the title next Thursday.

2 goals made by Haaland makes Man City can secure their first 3 points. Man City clearly dominated the match, there are already 14 shoot attempts and they got 68% ball possessions. I'm sure Burnley has no chance to score because Man City defense looks very solidly today. Man City players must be aware that this first 3 points is very important for them. So, they tried to do their best, and Haaland makes it easier by scoring 2 goals in the 1st half. Now, in the second half, Rodri makes it to be 3 goals. I think 3 goals is enough to end up this match today, Man City players don't need to force themselves. They need to keep their fitness for next matches.
I'm not at all surprised about Manchester City's first win against Burnley.
Haaland scored two goals in the match and Rodry also scored one goal, that was more than enough to seal 3 points in this game. Burnley was unable to develop their game as Manchester City continued to apply pressure despite having a 3 goal lead, obviously this was a predictable victory for most people.

Not only were Burnley humiliated in front of their own fans, but they also had to lose winger Anas Zaroury for a foul on Walker. Anas Zaroury was awarded a red card for his hard tackle, even though it was not really needed.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: think before investing on: August 10, 2023, 08:56:02 PM
The people who lose everything are just greedy and trigger happy....

I had friends who knew nothing about Bitcoin and they rushed into the first thing that had "Bitcoin" in their pitch. Unfortunately some of these investments were Ponzi schemes that promised huge profits. They did not think twice.. or did any research, including asking me if it was the real deal... so they lost a large amount of money being greedy.

When you buy & Sell Bitcoin you have to be patient.... it is not a "Get rich quick scheme" or something that gives you a constant passive income. You simply buy low..... wait for a rise in the price ...and sell at a ATH.  Wink
Yes, many people get greedy on investing because they really want to get rich overnight. They should understand that investing is not a recommended get-rich-quick scheme, but investing is the best way to allow your assets to grow gradually over a long time frame. Many people don't understand the basic concept of investing so they fall and get involved in bad investments like ponzi schemes and such. They don't do thorough analysis and research before investing, but then they regret and blame bitcoin for the loss.

I also want to say that investing and trading are completely different. One needs to understand the concept of both well and plan a good strategy to be able to take profit. Not everyone who invests can make a profit, the same goes for trading. Both are risky, so use extreme caution and judgment.
893  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 10, 2023, 08:36:07 PM

You are right; that's the reason why some people cease to invest in Bitcoin and land themselves in a hot soup of shitcoins, but still end up regretting their decision when they can't get any profit. Some people usually have the mindset that Bitcoin is too expensive to buy a whole, but I still try to convince anyone I come across with such a mindset, telling them that they don't need to buy a whole of Bitcoin at once, nor do they need to save for many years before they can buy one Bitcoin at once. If one is still consistent in their accumulation, either weekly or even monthly, depending on how often they are getting the cash inflow, then they might still be able to accumulate a huge fraction of Bitcoin before they realise it.
Basically I don't mind someone's decision to diversify their assets instead of just bitcoin. Of course I don't want to elaborate on the potential benefits of diversifying them, but let's be honest that such an approach can never go completely wrong in your investment plan.

Buy dip and hold is the best way for anyone looking to accumulate. A limited/small budget is not the main problem as long as they have the desire, it's just that a lot of people are greedy where they want to get rich quick without understanding how best to do it. You don't need to rush to own 1 bitcoin, but just do it consistently and get yours within your budget.

It's really funny how hope is placed on just one person..... He is not the whole team, besides him there are other players who will determine whether Cristiano will score or not. He can help his team, but if the team performs badly, nothing will help them, not even Ronaldo.
You're right, it makes absolutely no sense for a title to be easy to win just because a team is depending on one player. Ronaldo is not responsible for success, but he is responsible for his own performance which in turn can help the team get the most out of a game. Al-Nassr was able to win the title not only because of Ronaldo, but it is because the team played well all season.

After all Ronaldo is part of the team and he still needs the help of other players to play well. In the 2022-2023 season Ronaldo played 16 times by scoring 14 goals and 2 assists, those are good statistics for him. Last season Al-Nassr failed to win the title, but next season they will try their best.

I also prefer that Romelu Lukaku is at a club where his presence is greatly appreciated because it is not only about where he is, but to what extent he will be appreciated by many when he is at a club. This is about a career and it really needs to be considered carefully from now on because the season will start soon so there is no more time to think about things that are still uncertain even though Romelu Lukaku himself still wants to be in Italy this season.
Inter and their supporters really appreciate Romelu Lukaku's contribution, but unfortunately Inter had to withdraw from their bid to make Lukaku permanent because they failed to reach an agreement with Chelsea. Then it was reported that Lukaku was interested in Juventus, but I don't know how far the rumors are at this time.

Romelu Lukaku could do well for Juventus if they really wanted to sign him from Chelsea, but I think that would make Inter fans hate him. Yes in the end it's always possible, but Lukaku deserves a high level of playing time instead of staying at Chelsea.

They will have to defend the Premier League, the odds are in their favor.
He should start and find it difficult to score tommorow night because this is Burnley no matter how strong you are they always look very hard to break and score. During the days of Sean Dyche before he was sacked they are know for how stubborn and offensive tacklers they have. Erling Haaland might not sckre tomorrow night still.
Haaland is a striker who is difficult for defenders to stop, but it is not impossible to prevent him from scoring if the Burnley defenders are able to mark him closely. After all, Haaland also doesn't have to always score goals because Pep Guardiola can also make some mission adjustments for Haaland so that other players have good space to score goals. Manchester City is a team that is difficult to prevent from scoring because every player has the ability to score goals, so Burnley's players shouldn't all be focused around Haaland.

I don't think there's any point in stopping Haaland if Burnley can't control the movement of other Manchester City players. Manchester City are the favorites in that game so Burnley may come under some tough pressure from the start.
897  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30000 is becoming the resistant price on: August 09, 2023, 07:24:40 PM

We have to keep in mind that bitcoin was at 16k few months back and 30k is relatively better position then 16k. The good thing is Bitcoin is quite stable at 30k and not moving up and down from this price. Moreover market has up, down and stable positions, as an investor we need to be well prepared for all such situations. Right now its a good thing that Bitcoin is maintaining its position and it may explode in the long run.
We have gone through a bearish phase during 2022 during which time bitcoin lost a lot of value.
Some even thought that bitcoin would drop to $10k, but thankfully the price of bitcoin didn't drop to that level. Of course it is a gloomy period for the holders, but if they have good financial strength and have experience in terms of investment then of course accumulation is the best option to do.

The increased demand has seen the bitcoin price recover from the start of this year to almost touching $32k. However that resistance seems too strong to be broken so far, but I am optimistic that $32k will be broken during 2023 regardless of when.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run near already? on: August 09, 2023, 07:06:06 PM
Looks like its getting closer. I get that some people may not end up seeing it work at the time but that doesn't mean that we are going to not have it soon enough. I think its quite important to realize that we are at a stage where its going to be quite possible for the price to make as much profit as it possibly could. I think its going to be a great situation and we are going to end up with a great profit in the end. I get it, its not easy to be optimistic about bitcoin price after 1.5+ years of bear market and this is why everyone is trying to be more decent about it. But that doesn't mean that its going to fail, I think its going to be as good as it gets without a trouble from here on out.
But what if in the end the price of bitcoin is not what many people think it is? I mean the price will not touch ATH after 2024 halving.
Anything can happen to an asset that has a high fluctuation rate like bitcoin, but bitcoin has also been chosen by most people just to make a profit and get out. Of course this will affect the value, but that's how the market works.

I also think that it is good to be optimistic about higher prices for bitcoin. Bitcoin has proven that it is an asset that performs well even during inflation, but we can never guarantee that this will happen in the future. Only hope and patience and strategy adjustments can help us get a return, but we are indeed on the way to another bull run.

Clubs usually don't wait for any players, while in a position where a player is needed, the club immediately fills the void with an experienced player, but in the case of Real Madrid, we see something different. Real Madrid have yet to fill the void left by Karim Benzema. Real Madrid are willing to wait a season but they are not willing to sign another striker. If Real Madrid appoints a main striker in their team, it will surely be Mbappe. Without Karim Benzema, Real Madrid have become a bit of a haphazard team, but without Mbappe, Real Madrid are not thinking about anything. Real Madrid may have planned to sign a good striker, albeit a little late.
Is only Mbappe suitable to replace Benzema? No, I don't think it's just Mbappe.
Real Madrid certainly have good options to consider if they are to quickly find a replacement for Benzema, but I don't see them wanting to rush things. However, I also believe that Real Madrid need a striker urgently given that they are not doing so well without Benzema. Mbapee is certainly good, but Madrid doesn't need to wait until his contract expires.

While it makes sense to wait for Kylian Mbappe to arrive on a free at the end of next season, I don't think that's the best way for Real Madrid to do it. The team needs a lot of strength in attack to win matches and also to maintain any chance of winning the title but if Real Madrid ignores that then they will be risking something without the title.

The start of the season was good enough for Barcelona to steal the standings while Madrid's condition was still inconsistent. Against Atletico Bilbao was not easy and Ancelotti had to show the results of his players' training in that match. Still without Arda Guller so I hope he recovers quickly from his injury and can help attack. Real Madrid's schedule will be packed so it is hoped that the new players will be able to provide a better boost than last season.
Real Madrid will certainly have to be careful enough for their maiden outing for La Liga at San Mamés. Atletic Bilbao is not an easy opponent to beat, so of course Real Madrid must be prepared enough to anticipate whatever will happen in the match. I don't mind how long Arda Güler has been out injured, the fact that he is a recent signing is not much to be expected.

I can expect Real Madrid to have a good performance in their first La Liga game. Vinicius, Rodrygo and Bellingham can be expected to trouble Bilbao's defense. Federico Valverde can also help in attack, so I don't have to be so pessimistic about the match in the coming days.
