I feel very sorry for those people that invested base on the hype and not on what they researched with crypto's. It's unfair on their part of seeing the market fall down and at the same time lose their money. This is the reason that everyone should DYOR before proceeding with any investments. If the market doesn't improve by 2019, is there something that we should do? I don't think that there is. I'll just continue base on what I've been doing.

Current price is $156, if there's no bull run we will see its price double depending on its own market and economy. I don't think we need a bull run to raise the ethereum price. Look at the $ 80 to $ 150 a couple days. And we haven't seen a bull run in this time.
Ethereum always has its own dynamics.
We still need it though as you and I mentioned, it has its own market and its own movement. |

I just read an article that we have upcoming 2 other forks and this is the 2nd for this year. We see that these forks were pointless anymore if its generating new coin, I guess there's no way to stop this.

I don't need those 2 first forks, I just want the upgrade. The spike was definitely caused by these forks. Dump will come after these forks but I hope it would reach a new ceiling then maintain its state a bit by bit. |

Stop holding coins for years months, that's a lazy and ignorant way to invest.
It's my strategy and I have proven that it was effective so why should I stop holding? HODLING is life <3. Call me ignorant and lazy investor but there's what we call "strategy" - a lazy one.  |

Thanks for the reminder although I don't hold this coin. I can't understand why you are able to reach such coins that are ranked 1316 and so on. It's market cap is pretty good for a thousand rank coin and if they are requiring an ID its your verdict if you'll comply. Such threads that are moderated, they won't allow people that are against them to speak.

He can leave anytime but I don't think Vitalik will leave, he's very optimistic with PoS or maybe after that he'll leave. Who knows? I don't know and only him can give us enlightenment with this issue which was quite old already.
It is really interesting to see any comment coming from ethereum founder. If he truly leave this project, I believe there is a big reason behind not just in dropping value but more inside. Ethereum exist for many years and totally impossible that Vitalik would leave easily, I don't think so. He has been offered by google a nice job but you know what's his decision? he never left the project and instead he continued to push all of the good things that he think to upgrade and improve ethereum. And now that its hot topic that Vitalik vs. Sun on twitter, they have been throwing spicy words there. |

Yes, it is a bull run! Small up trend is a part of something bigger! I think there is a probability of sucess! Just wait for next big movement!
Don't think its a bull run, no its not. The movement upwards was caused by whomever who accumulated a lot of bitcoin since the dominance of bitcoin has increased by that time. But right now it's starting to move silently and we can't be sure of it if the bull run would start to get in by 2019's first quarter. |

Whether they will stay on their own backyards, I'm an Eth loyalist. And regardless of its rank, ETH is still my top altcoin on my portfolio. But I do believe that ETH will be back on 2nd place soon. And with the current adoption of binance did to XRP as base pair, I think this made XRP even stronger but still I'm all in for eth.

For some investors, bitcoin below $5,000 is still too expensive for them. They have been waiting for $5,000 before and now that their expectation has gotten low, they want cheaper bitcoin that's more than they have been expecting before. The bitter truth is that people says those things but they never take an action when that happens. They want so cheap bitcoin but they don't really buy at all, tbh.
