8901  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Coinpot vs Faucethub on: October 19, 2017, 10:45:16 PM
It's hard to compare these two services, but I will try to say my opinion.
Faucethub advantages - thousands of faucets, more coins, exchange, lot of additional stuff, not big fees.
Cons - lot of scammy faucets, but it's not FH fault and they aren't responsible for it. Quite big withdraw treshold for some altcoins, but I can understand why.

Coinpot advantages - no fees for bigger withdrawals, no exchange fees, all faucets are legit
Cons - not responding support, website sometimes laggy (at least for me), small number of faucets, missing detailed stats.
Summa summarum, Faucethub is much better service for me.
8902  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap advertising Ponzi site on: October 19, 2017, 10:32:10 PM
Oh, that doesn't looks good. Sometimes when people saw advertisement on trusted website, it makes advertised site legit for them.
As I understand, this banner is not from advertising network? It's rented directly by Coinmarketcap? If yes, that's really bad. If this banner would be from ad network, I wouldn't blame Coinmarketcap, because they aren't in control of advertised websites.

But honestly, I don't advice to buy accounts if you are legit guy. It would better to grow up your own account instead of buying farmed account which and risk to be tagged by DT members. As you may know (or not), buying/selling of btc accounts isn't not what they can tolerate.
8904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you secure your bitcoins? on: October 19, 2017, 10:13:50 PM
Well, I'm not doing anything special to secure my btc. I keep mostly of my btc in offline wallet, which never been connected to online, desktop or mobile wallet. And offcourse, I'm trying to keep my private keys safely. I have saved it in several places to be guaranteed that if my device will crash, I wouldn't not loose all my btc.
Hodling btc in hardware wallet is a good idea. And on hardware wallet you can keep as many btc as you have or want to keep. Hardware, same like all other wallets doesn't have limit of btc allowed to keep.

How do you get the bitcoins transferred without compromising the offline wallet? Do you create a new offline wallet and transfer all your coins-x. X being the amount you are sending to another wallet(maybe a hot wallet). Even then you are compromised in the time you are making the transfer because your wallet that was cold is hot for a moment when you make this transfer. Huh
I'm not using btc from my offline wallet. I'm just hodling it safely. If I would need these btc, I would have to compromise offline wallet - import private keys to one of the desktop or online wallet. I have Electrum wallet for my daily needs, offcourse, I don't keep very big amount btc here, some btc also stored in online wallet.
8905  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what to do first in this forum on: October 19, 2017, 10:02:23 PM
First of all, I recommend to read rules of bitcointalk:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
Then, lock at sticked threads at the top of beginners & help section, also on other boards of forum. Basic things which important for newbies can be found here. But if you didn't found something, you can use search function or just ask about it here.
As I see, you mainly interested in earning of btc. Well, there are many ways to earn it, and earnings mainly depends on your skills. Some ways of earning btc can be found here:

8906  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: October 19, 2017, 07:01:19 PM
Do these recent news affect Mistertango?

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/lithuanias-central-bank-issues-ico-guidelines-reminds-banks-of-cryptocurrency-ban/

“Financial services must be clearly dissociated from activities related with virtual currencies. Banks, payment institutions and other financial market participants should not provide services associated with virtual currencies or participate in their release.”

Well, few years ago, Central bank of Lithuania issued electronic money institution license to Mistertang. So, I'm not sure that these news will affect Mistertango. Anyway, it would be good to see announcement from Mistertango about current situation.
8907  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Mistertango.com - Lithuania - IBAN bank account EUR - Bitcoin friendly on: October 19, 2017, 06:51:55 PM

Tikiuosi Mistertango suportas skaito sita foruma.

...you what?

English please.
He is mainly complaining about high btc transfer fees (0.005 btc). Client has to pay €129.90, but after deducting receiver get only ~€103. And it's not clearly disclosed about that fee.
Another note - allow to choose who will pay fee - sender or receiver.
And last, today he deposited $15 in btc, but support said that he can say goodbye to these money, because smaller than 0.005 deposits are not accepted. And again, there is not written anywhere that they not accept deppsits smaller than 0.005 btc.

8909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship between Bitcoin and The Moon on: October 18, 2017, 10:20:43 PM
When I got my first btc, I didn't believed that it can reach current price. But I can't say that bitcoin already reached moon, because price still growing. When (if?) bitcoin reach $10000, honestly, I would call it as reaching moon.
P.S. When I see words "to the moon", first thing which cames to my head is dogecoin Cheesy
Where is the moon for you?

I would really like to get some responses from long time HODLers of BTC.

If you bought BTC @ $200, are we at the moon yet?

What if you got in at $20?

Where is the moon that everyone is waiting for?

i think no, because the distant from earth to the moon is 384,400 km but the value of bitcoin these days are only 5000$  so i guess it will need to reach 384,400 btc before we can say that we are on the moon although thats a really big amount but i think its posible because bitcoins value tends to increase overtime .
LOL, nice note, but I think that even biggest optimists doesn't believe that bitcoin could reach that.
8910  Other / Meta / Re: Why do these HUGE threads just remain there ? on: October 18, 2017, 12:15:08 PM
Mods lock or move to trashcan such spam megathreads sooner or later. But in my opinion, they are doing it too late. Threads shouldn't grow up to 100 pages before they get locked. Maybe max. 15-20 pages would be optimal.

So what do you do for project threads? Like LBRY's, ByteBall's, Elixir's, etc that are well over 15 pages with a number of updates interspersed?
I'm talking about threads from Bitcoin Discussion subforum, such as "Why should people use Bitcoin?" (102 pages), "What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin?" - 68 pages, "How do you store your bitcoins?" - 82 pages and many more similar threads.
I don't have anything against projects and services threads with lot of replies.
8911  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Full citizenship of the Pacific nation of Vanuatu for less than 44 bitcoin on: October 17, 2017, 10:38:17 PM
44 bitcoins is a big price for citizenship and only millionaires can afford to purchase it. But maybe it's really worth these money. In some countries income taxes are extremely big and these millionaires pays more taxes every year than citizenship costs. So, buying a citizenship of taxes paradise Vanuatu can be really good and money saving idea in long term.
8912  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex - my BTC withdrawal is pending for 25 mins on: October 17, 2017, 10:28:27 PM
At first you should check the withdrawal address if it's correct you no need to worry about it. Bittrex is a trusted exchange so don't worry about it anymore. As I know there are something happening and it make Bitcoin trasaction take longer to receive confirm. If you don't want to wait no more longer why don't you try to use Transaction Accelerator on Viabtc
It's not about slow Bitcoin transaction. OP complaining that it takes too much time until Bittrex approve and send btc withdrawal. Maybe they are doing something like manual check. I didn't made btc withdrawals from Bittrex recently and I'm not sure that little OP issue is usual thing.

Maybe max. 15-20 pages would be optimal. Anyway, you always can use "report to moderator" button if you think that this thread shouldn't be active anymore. It's good that several sig. campaign managers not paying for posts made in these big threads. But many managers, especially of ICO campaigns doesn't care much about it.
8914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: October 17, 2017, 10:03:23 PM
What a heck happened to Sevilla in Moscow? Concede 5 goals against Spartak is something terrible.
And Man City today started match with high intensity, had many dangerous moments, scored 2 goals and then they stopped. They started making stupid mistakes in defence and in start of attacks which resulted dangerous Napoli attacks. Happily for City, Napoli didn't scored second goal.

Same problem here.

8917  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would I get worried if my post decreased? Will if affect my campaign? on: October 16, 2017, 10:41:31 PM
You need to think about quality of your posts, not aboyt number of it. Probably you spammed and your post was deleted. If you will spam, you may be kicked out from campaign and even banned from forum. I see that you participating in ICO campaign - many managers of such campaigns doesn't care much about particpants posts quality, don't know how about your campaign.
My advice - look at quality of your posts, not quanity if you don't want problems.
8918  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Why is there not much Xapo faucets anymore? on: October 16, 2017, 10:25:41 PM
There are still several paying Xapo faucets left without withdrawal treshold, you can try it:
http://bitcoins4free.altervista.org/xapo-faucets/
There are several reasons why there are not many Xapo faucets left:
Not many faucet scripts support Xapo payments. So, running Xapo faucet can be more complicated. And in general, Xapo is not designed to be faucet service.
Whole Xapo wallet are getting less popular due to high sending fees, not accepting small incoming transactions. It's not worth to run Xapo faucet, because it will not have many users, better to open faucet on Faucethub wher faucet users can withdraw btc wherever they want with tiny fee.
8919  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Coin Panda Is here With High Rewards Direct Payouts All Currencies, 10% Ref on: October 16, 2017, 10:13:51 PM
sorry iam out with this short links -.-
hate this dopple ads and popups -.-

regards

I agree with you regarding short links, they are good income for faucet owners but users do not like them.Sometimes short link is not working and then we can not claim from faucet and I see that many times. Some users will not come back on such faucets considering them scam or waste of time.If faucet owner is using short links then should check which one is most stable and reliable.Otherwise instead profit short link prevents user to claim.
Well, these Coinpanda faucets have really good rates, but I have to agree about url shorteners. I like some other faucet scripts which allows to choose - claim with url shortener to get bigger rewards and without shortener to get lower reward. This gr8.cc script don't have this function and forced to claim with url shortener. It's not big problem if we get reward like on these faucets, but on some other faucets we get shortener errors or message about insufficient funds.
8920  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: pullthapool.win - lottery in faucet ecosystem. 50000 satoshi in pool on: October 16, 2017, 10:05:19 PM
Nice to see new faucet-lottery. Your site concept looks interesting and worth to try. But as user above said, some users may be afraid to download text files.
Now about prizes - it's great. But maybe you may need to set prizes based on revenue of website.
I wish you good luck with your project! Smiley
