8921  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: March 27, 2014, 07:59:22 AM
Hi everyone. This is my 1st post in there and I read last 50 pages but topic is really too long.

So is there any one build klondike 16 with avalons 40 nm A3233 ?

Since questions are being asked also curious on how competitive they are compared to other designs now.
8922  Other / Off-topic / Re: How long have you been logged in for? on: March 27, 2014, 07:58:13 AM
3 days 2 hours and 7 minutes like keeping this thread alive since it will be interesting to see what people post a year from now haha
8923  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the strongest fiat currency in the world today? on: March 27, 2014, 07:57:23 AM
yuan

its been suppressed by china to own the export market

once they lift the suppression, yuan will increase in value

If they ever make a gold standard which they may be able to build the financial system to do so then we will have an interesting time seeing if it becomes the next reserve currency post US dollar
Or one of a basket depending on what countries the others trade with
8924  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christian school complains 8-year-old girl isn't girly enough on: March 27, 2014, 07:56:14 AM
Religion. Lol.

It's not religion, it's the stupid school and the stupid people managing the school, there is no religion in the world that says that girls needs to be girly, and do girly things

The school is religious.. It wouldn't happen at a public school.

True but a lot of people go to the private system because of their qualms with the failures of a public school system
Not that all schools are bad mind you just some are worse than others guess it can be applied to the private system as well though

Feel like this thread has died since no one has bumped it for a while so reviving post
8926  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which was the last movie that you Admired? on: March 27, 2014, 07:53:30 AM
I watch all kinds of movies don't care what it is as long as it is good and can be considered artistic I consider it may be worth my time and go from there.  Don't judge me cause I'm open minded.  Cool

That's true there are certainly a lot of good movies out there it would be nice to have a handy little list though for people to watch if they have free time
8927  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You think MtGox's lost 850k btc is beyond comprehension? ... watch this. on: March 27, 2014, 07:52:53 AM
Perfect example of the advantage of bitcoin/cryptos over fiat. I guarantee you 99% of people (including me) did not even know about this happening, where as with the blockchain you can see everything that happens.
The government likes to keep people in the dark which is why when a spy comes out and releases classified documents they call them a traitor and aim to humiliate and punish them instead of praising them of heroic deeds and worthy actions to bring truth to the people and show the true cause.
A person is not a traitor to their country if their country betrays that trust

8928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The NSA reportedly poses as Facebook to spread malware (Not just Facebook) on: March 27, 2014, 07:51:10 AM
I stopped using facebook about 3 years ago so i guess im not affected by this. Cheesy

Hmm... Read the full title of the thread: (Not just Facebook)

Wonder if internet technologies will just move beyond the sphere of government spying again in a few years namecoin Etherum projects heck even tor/onion routers on a larger scale as the protocols adapt
8929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How awesome is bitcoin? on: March 27, 2014, 07:49:51 AM

8930  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia Invades Ukraine. Whats next? on: March 27, 2014, 07:48:57 AM

Not so worrying the US has bases in chile and Brazil anyways pretty much countries with a strong right leaning Russia and China have left leaning country's in Latin America

Argentina, and its close ally, Venezuela, have long been on friendly terms with Iran and this latest move opens the door to another political foe of the United States.

Or I guess the Global South vs Global North division is the new cold war area
8931  Economy / Goods / Re: buy beef with bitcoins on: March 27, 2014, 07:45:20 AM
March, 2014
First official Beef for Bitcoins thread lol

Just Thought it worthy to note that for those in Aus there is http://www.honestbeef.com.au/index.php that excepts Bitcoin.

I have not tried them as I think am too far from them for shipping.

Packs are 20Kg so make sure you have plenty of freezer space.

>aus
why am I not surprised  Roll Eyes

Australian beef not sure is there a difference in the quality or types of grain they use to feed cows
Know Kobe is famous for marbling but not sure on the fineness as some other people are with meats

For those interested in faucets other than Bitcoin ones:

http://www.ripplegiveaway.com/index.php

I don't know if I will add non-bitcoin faucets to the OP list, but everyone is welcome to express their opinion on the matter.

I'm still of the school that ripple is sort of more a paypal system than a virtual currency system but I guess people may appreciate that to each his own may as well make a list beyond bitcoin faucets
8934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 27, 2014, 07:40:25 AM
it wil reach $10,000 one day, not only 1,000. i do believe this .

There is one other thread which says " Will 1 Bitcoin will Reach 1 million usd one day? " that is the thread where people confident about btc reaching 1k$ or 10k$ posts about it reaching 1million$ and i see the same kind of optimism there..! but no substance to back claims

Finally, this post is a bit outdated

million dollars post : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=517622.0

Interesting now we can all speculate on the future from the 2009 early adopter perspectives Smiley
8935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will 1 Bitcoin will Reach 1 million usd one day? on: March 27, 2014, 07:39:58 AM
Nice put up a new number from that old 1000 dollar thread I guess I will start from the 2009 persons viewpoint
Probably not any time in the near future please just because we started adding numbers to bitcoins value we won't see it Cheesy
I'll change my tune later like those early adopters who return years later XD

8938  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 700 TH/s or 8.68 GH/s per share on: March 27, 2014, 07:34:24 AM
So is this an eternal loop kinda thing where the price of shares goes up towards Friday and drops down during the weekend?
Possibly until the mine is fully deployed..

That seems like a recurring sequence then but been a while since I've been in this thread can someone sum it up nicely
8939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Operation Shitcoin Cleanout and Clean Up Has Begun- Join the Revolution on: March 27, 2014, 07:32:51 AM
