The US liabilities are unsustainable, the social funds are invested in US debt so the government is spending the money that it is suppose to give back to its people.

As long as you're the one printing new money, every liability is sustainable.

I think they will indeed make everyone whole but with dollars that will have less purchasing power

Having back your money with interests but not being able to buy as much as before is a haircut

@apsvinet we will see the USD collapse, debt problems and riots in Europe within 3years,politicians will find excuses, go on war, inflate their money, find false responsables and reduce our freedom, then maybe it will get better if we chose our freedom over a false sense of security from the state

I'm just saying, it's hardly the first time people are being pre-apocalyptic for no reason. "Within 3 years", that's what it's sounded like for the last 100 years.

I understand what you mean but a lot of fiat currencies have lost most their value in the last 100 years and a lot of apocalyptic events happened in the last 100years

I doubt they will, at least not in the near future. Bitcoins are associated with drug and weapon trade in mainstream media, neither Ebay nor Amazon wanna get that anywhere near their brand names.

I don't think they don't because Bitcoin is associated with d.rug and weapo.n trade in mainstream media because USD is  associated with dru.g and weap.on trade as well but they don't because they are afraid of legal repercussions and maybe they don't think they will benefit that much from accepting it

When it is main stream and the price is 4 digits they will have a bigger pression to accept it

That is how the market goes like..! but here we are predicting , when we'll hit the 1k$ mark again.. although No one can exactly tell besides you are from Future..!
But I hope we will see BTC stabilized somewhere b/w 1000-1500$ mark by the end of 2014..! that is minimum i'm expecting.

I would assume bitcoin is currently down from all the negetives so far in 2014. Think about everything affecting the market and we are still over 500-600$ i think that shows a lot about how bitcoin is stablizing. We will see 1,000$ again and most likely at some point 10,000$ although i dont know for sure this is my opinion.

and now we are hoping for a brighter 2014, as  I already said even if btc stabilizes at 1k$ mark my the end of 2014 it would be grt.

bitcoin will reach whatever amount fits it. and we will never reeally know how much its worth because its worth whatever its trading for at a given time. once it  stoppes getting mined and people are using it and all the bitcoins are in circulation price will start to stablize and we will see real value 10,000$+ per coin
