Nice logo by the way. Feel strong.
Thanks a lot mate. We do love our logo, our designer did a great job on it. Which user designed the current logo? Was the coin both Proof of Work and Proof of Stake from the beginning?

For the book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" A Beginner's Reference, I need to know who is part of the Zetacoin team. Developers, PR Marketers, Spokepersons, etc.
Thanks

I have finished the Mooncoin section. It will be in the book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" (A historical reference book). Here is the preliminary cover (a better cover is currently being worked on): The plan is to get the book published before Christmas 2014. Here is the Mooncoin preview section: https://i.imgur.com/rjAp96D.pngAny donations towards this future publication are highly welcome. I would love to see this book become a reality. 2THQ74iskgoTXSWEEZZ9R1tkFa9575aDhu Main Book Bitcointalk.org Thread is:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483187.0Any further points which the community would like to be included in the MOON section need to be messaged to me ASAP. Thanks for the Mooncoin section in your book. It would be great if you could remove the coinex-exchange, that doesn't exist anymore and also coined up, they seem to give up. Please have a look at http://mooncoin.rocks/about-mooncoin/. There you can find actual details about exchanges (please add SwissCex and Cryptoine), mining pools etc. It would be very nice if you could also mention the mooncoin special facts (block number based on the lunar cycle will be awarded a 2x payout bonus, apollo 11 phase, ...also mentioned at mooncoin.rocks) Thanks a lot. OK I will take all your comments into account

I will be looking into both avenues. I am concentrating more on completing it than worrying too much about that at the moment. I will be on the IRC soon if you like to chat further.

Thank you It's my birthday on the 12th this month. I usually get money from family (~£50) which I intend to put into BRIT. I only have six more sections out of the 41 to complete. BRIT is the only X13 coin in the book

Hello it looks like Topcoin in the book Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" will be re-named to TOPCOIN2. Your coin is one of 40 alts (plus Bitcoin) to feature. I have already written a lot about the history of TOP. Let's see all cryptocurrencies succeed

When it was Proof of Work, what were the block time and difficulty re-target times?
|
|
|
Does MINT implement the Kimoto's Gravity Well algorithm to re-target difficulty?
Is the block time 30 seconds?

I will be researching and writing about Megacoin tomorrow. After this one, Litecoin.

Hello to all, I am currently writing the four page section for TIPS in the book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" A Beginner's Reference. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483187.260TiPS has had a very interesting history so far I will post a preview section tonight. wow guys, I see FedoraCoin has the third highest ranking after NXT, Particle, and Ultracoin. I thought we were 'very inactive' recently, but those numbers are really encouraging! We just need to wave our hands (on our keyboards I guess) and TiPS can be soon on the top ranking of the Altcoins! Never give up Please be aware that the vote on the book thread closed on the 16th of March (My partner's birthday) I have not received a donation yet lol

These sections remain to be completed: Britcoin BRIT Fedoracoin TIPS Feathercoin FTC Franko FRK Litecoin LTC Megacoin MEC Novacoin NVC Peercoin PPC This means that after I complete TiPS (Fedoracoin) tonight, only 7 out of the total 41 are left to work on. This is very encouraging Once all sections are complete, I can expand on the introductory pages before the section pages. In addition, I will be adding more fact pages at the end of the book. A lot to look forward to

This is a nice project. Sent a Digitalcoin donation. Makes sense that you'd post a version with text mostly hidden so that your work won't be copied before it's published. Please PM me with the final version of the Digitalcoin pages, here or on the Digitalcoin forum, so I can do a final review.
TT
OK thank you. I am going to go over the pages again within the next two weeks. I will then discuss the content with you afterwards. Thank you for your support. P.S. Are you aware of any outlets from which I can strongly promote this publication? It's so difficult to recoup your investment on things like this. Are you planning on distributing hard copy or electronically? I think you must distribute electronically, so why should I buy it when I know one of my friends will get it and just send me a copy? I think the question is more "what to promote" instead of "where to promote". Where you should promote is on banner adds on sites frequented by crypto enthusiasts. I'd help with a list, but I'm sure you're familiar with dozens. More important is what you're promoting. It seems that you're creating a one time publication, and you'll sell it when it's done. You should sell it as a subscription, 1year paid in advance, where each month the subscriber gets maybe 4 new pages, and updates to previously published pages. Maybe the whole thing could be one pdf being the cover, intro, background, definitions, etc, then each coin would be a seperate pdf. This will be an excellent piece of reference material, it will stay current, and will also have historical significance as many of the coins you document disappear. You should stress this. Finally, I've known about this project for weeks at least, but I have yet to hear how I can order one. you should get an ordering mechanism in place right away. TT I will give it some serious thought next month. Thank you for your constructive comments.
