Friendly advice: Trade all your crypto for trx and bitcoin, about 70% bitcoin, 30% trx. trx has a great team behind and keeps making progress. bitcoin is the big boss. if it goes up the others will follow (not every crypto) but bitcoin is safe bet. If you are in need of money it's up to you to take out or not. Bitcoin will rise again but maybe not this year. We entered a bear market and its unpredictable, but with the analyzies its estimated to last 2 years max. If we rise again, it sure as hell will break the 20k$ mark. Also bitcoin has potential to become a future store value like gold. As a payment method, there is better options and more anoymous than bitcoin. People calling Btc fraud or ponzi don't understand how Btc/blockchain works or are just frustrated for not being early adopters.
Price might fluctuate a lot, but that neither ponzi or fraud, it's just volatility. History has proved that there are ups and downs . As long as there is nothing preventing the crypto currency from going bankrupt there is a good chance it will break ATH again , but it could take as long as 2022.

Problem with ICOs is that they entered into a vicious cyrcle and it's very hard to get out of it. Most of ICOs are or become scam sooner or later.
However, there are also legit ICOs, but their credibility is much affected by the image created by the scam ICOs. This makes the soft/hard cap very difficult to reach even for very good ICOs. As an alternative I would recommend investments in non-ICO projects. (see one good example in my signature)

These are the two most commonly used methods. However, buying and keeping a coin is the method that suits most people. This is a very simple, fast way of making good money in the top 20, like litecoin, bitcoin, ethereum. Ripple, store somewhere, do not read the news, do not worry about the transaction or the predictions the coin will die of the media. After a few years, they pulled out and sold.
In case you want to trade, the story is quite different, you need to buy on sale. And very simple rules, buy low sell high. As you know it is easier said than done.
Do you have money to invest?
If you do not have a lot of money, start with a small amount of money. Do not use debit card, plug the house. Plug the money into the market. The more likely you will be burnt bags. Only invest the money you have lost.
If you came into cryto for quick profit then you better leave before to get involved too much, as 2018 does not offer +5000% like 2017. Market became more mature, stable, predictible (at least for top coins) and people came just to speculate will not have that much success. However, if you are patient enough, sooner or later market will recover and you might see good profits afterwards. |

Things are not that easy, mate. I don't know what's your experience with ICOs but I can ensure you that you cando all the research in the world and still to choose a scam ICO. Let me give you an example:
You check before investing everything you can find abiut the project on the Internet: team, website, Whitepaper, social media activity etc. Everything seems to be ok, you invest and when ICO finishes you find while accessing the website a "404 Not found" message. Why? Because the team is maybe on an exotic island spending your money.
I would more recommend investing in non-ICO based projects as they are less risky. Power of these projects is community that builds around and not the funds from ICO. If you are interested in a good non-ICO project I recommend you Staker. (more details in my signature)

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+. I'm regretting my actions.  In cryto you lose only when/if you sell. Otherwise, price is just the trand of the market: bullish or bearish. 4.5 Btc is a lot of money. Hiwever, if you are patient, you might see your investments back one day, or even see some profit. What's for sure is that you went shopping during a bullish market and you're about to sell at 6k. Why would you do this? Cryto is cyclic, just wait for next bull run and sell then, if you really don't think Bitcoin has a chance to become better than it's today. |

However regularisation of cryptos is nit that bad because with no control, you cannot gather taxes. Taxes are necessary for country development. Without taxes, we haven't social system. Without social system, we have revolutions every few years, when poor people attacks rich. It's wrong, we have it for last 500 years. Wars, revolutions, because non social system and monarchy. If we want peace, goverments needs to give some shit to people: social system and something called democracy. People need to think, they have any impact. |

If I had 3 ETH to invest, I would invest in non-ICO projects as from start there is no risk that the team/project to vanish right after ICO, which happened with a lot of ICOs in 2018.
Before any investment, there are some golden rules that should be respected in order to lower the risks as much as possible:
- do a lot of research about the project: team experience, Whitepaper, website, other websites references to the project, social media activity etc.
- verify if milestones from Whitepaper have been filled at time until you hearded about the project
- never invest more than you can afford to lose, as crypto market is and will remain for some time very volatile.

For me it's clear, from the moment BTC went to the Dow it slide down and be played by the big boys.
More and more we see up's and down's controlled by some big players between 6000 and 7500.
Alt coins are following that vibe, and some step out the line but be pushed in the direction the big players want.
I ask myself who is behind it, are governments behind it that not like the BTC and want it pushed down to get people frustrated.
So frustrated that many of us, get sick and tired of the up line pushed down already few time around 7400.
Ofcourse we are human, and after some push down's, we want to be strong and not give up.
But we also not want to be that person that miss the boot, where the rest break and sell the BTC.
It's almost 12 o clock when this price will go up around 7400 again, and drops down again i see a huge drop coming.
And the faith in going up higher, will be lost more and more. And that is what they want.
So what are you going to do ? Am I wrong ? It's massive indoctrination dunn by huge selling dumps.
We have 2 options Guys, let them play with us and let them win.

Mate, you miss something very important for cryto. People with money (aka whales) will always dominate nd manipulate the market. It's not about Bitcoin or any other altcoins. If it wasn't Bitcoin, it would have been other coin, but whales would have done what they know better: manipulate the market and make money. Instead of selling Btc, I think a better option is to buy as price is still very low in this bearish and acumulation market. |

Btc and crypto market are behaving like this because they are still new and being manipulated by many external factors: whales, bad news, political interests etc. However, this will not last forever and it happened to every single market at the beginning. You have 2 options here: to abandon the ship or to continue and wait for the market to get mature enough to become imune to these factors.
