I confirm receipt of payment, and am happy to remain in the campaign. thanks

This is a tough one as you can't take today's $ purchasing power as a proxy as that's going to fall. $20k 10 years from now is worth a lot less. That said, my guess is that 100BTC should be safe, maybe even 50.

This is pretty cool and again underscores the risk to NYC and the US of being left behind in attracting the best crypto talent if they don't up their game on regulating it right and leniently

Conspiracy to money launder is serious, serious shit and gets you a hefty term in the US Not sure that Charlie Shrem was ever charged with anything as serious

Absolutely, no chance of that whatsoever. That said, Chain and 21 are probably the most ambitious crypto based projects out there. And Blockstream of course.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, possibly Dash/Monero are the ones out there that imho are legit. That said, no guarantees that they will appreciate in value. Do your homework.

It's getting safer but I don't access any coins on mobile as a matter of principle. Nor do I store any private keys on mobile.

Invest 15k in BTC, hedge by investing the balance in ether You should be fine

I have far less than 100 BTC but my sense is that with the proliferation of large exchanges such as Coinbase/Gemini in the US and Bitstamp in Europe, that there should not be an issue with getting liquidity.
100 BTC is not a huge holding in the grand scheme of thinhgs

Merkel screwed up in her response to this situation. Think she regrets her initial response, if the media can be believed.

More than anything else, I would hope that there would be no need whatsoever to ever convert into fiat again. Looking forwrad to a closed loop global bitcoin economy that is completely self-sufficient.

Thanks, confirming payment. And happy to continue for another week with the current arrangement. Thanks.

Japan's openness to technology is well-documented. Given high-speed internet and the seamless integration of tech in everyday japanese lives, hardly surprising that Japan ahs no problem with conceiving of BTC as money

I agree. Kleiman is an order of magnitude more plausible Satoshi than Craig Wright ever was or could be It is indeed surprising that this angle has not been explore more than it has
