901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: June 17, 2015, 11:48:00 AM
i think that some guys are here wasting his time instead of doing something good for this GREAT alt coin.

all of us want the same, why not to discuss about it instead of attack others members and/or this coin?

None of the PoC2 attempts have worked out well in practice unfortunately. Plotting ends up being horribly slow(much worse than PoC1) and large gains can be had by shaving bits off and brute forcing them with gpus. PoC2 is now on hold until a better solution is found.

thats the worst news i had read, i have lot of expectations about it, i was thinking that you will release very very soon, but now...

903  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-16] CCN: MASTERCARD EXPRESSES FEAR AND IGNORANCE OF BITCOIN IN WRITING on: June 17, 2015, 11:35:13 AM
Mastercard are feeling the Bitcoin heat, PayPal & Visa will follow shortly, if they aren't already. All shall fail, all shall fall.

All hail decentralized people powered Bitcoin!!  Grin

hhaa beleive me they are already scared about it, also im 100% sure that they already have plans to change to BTC if things goes better for BTC, they are not idiots, they are following BTC world very very close.
904  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Potencial Bussiness In Bitcointalk.org on: June 17, 2015, 11:32:05 AM
well from my point of view, i think you should forget about the escrow, since there is some Legendary members who already have 0% fees and with a nice reputation on this forum, so why should someone take you instead them?.

Promote your business /  rent your skills as programmer etc etc is a nice way to start building your reputation by providing a nice service and if you want a nice way to get some BTC, joining in a signature campaign is the best way i think.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Santander: Blockchain Tech Can Save Banks $20 Billion a Year on: June 17, 2015, 11:23:39 AM
Another shitbank phantasying on how to make them even more rich.

im confused  Huh xD
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: June 16, 2015, 08:47:21 PM
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/NOBL/index.php

Does our Magi community like to have this for Magi?

i think that this is a great idea, all info&tools are welcome and since Magi is one of the best ALT coins out there, Magi should have the best Wink

so if i have to vote about it, i will vote yes to do that for our coin.
907  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russia to Legalize Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 11:00:26 AM
the question here is, why they are trying to do it?, they already know that cant do nothing against bitcoin, is useless, is so simply they cant stop it, so from my point of view what they are just trying is to scared ppl to use it, thats his first movement, second movement is to use it Smiley

ofc this is just a conspiracy theory from me, but it makes senses, yes? Wink
908  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Actos Bitcoin en BCN, viernes 19 de junio - Nuevo cajero 12h / meetup 19h on: June 16, 2015, 10:51:04 AM

909  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 15 days 20 blocks on: June 16, 2015, 10:47:29 AM
So I have 2 s5's that have not been rebooted in 2 weeks. Between them they have found 20 blocks on nicehash stratum pool.

Is it time to start solo mining? Wink

910  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA Freedom Act To Kill Privacy? on: June 16, 2015, 10:43:03 AM
/qbqp33x]USA Freedom Act is no reason to celebrate?

Both privacy advocates and the NSA are celebrating the USA Freedom Act that passed the Senate on June 2.
The act legalized and simplified the collecting of phone metadata for the NSA. Meanwhile Skype continues to collect voice,
chat, video and other data, and deliver it to the Five Eyes international spy coalition.

“What no one wants to say out loud is that this is a big win for the NSA, and a huge nothing burger for the privacy community.”

i was already thinking on change it, but now i will try to find a better way to communicate with my friends, for me is so sad that they did it, is a "stand back" for freedom and from my point of view thats not the correct way.

i hope more ppl do the same.
911  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 10:36:39 AM

doble condena de cadena perpetua para el notas..............................................

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pK9f3YTx-iM

913  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: OpenBazaar recibe una inversión angel on: June 15, 2015, 11:22:36 AM

914  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-06-14] NewsBTC: What Can Bitcoin Do For The Music Industry? on: June 15, 2015, 11:11:48 AM

really nice article, i didnt think on it before, ty for the link man.

The music industry has a great deal to gain from the Bitcoin technology. Some artist already used the Blockchain to protect their songs from being stolen from other artists.

The micro payments can also enable people to pay a few satoshi's for every second they listen to the song OR they can pay only for one song on a album, if they liked it.

I can now see, how people will listen and pay for music per use and not having to own huge libraries of discs and files.  Roll Eyes

agree with you 100% the micro payments could be a very good solution for the music industry, as i always sayd, give me the oportunity of buy a cheap music disc and i will buy it, but dont expect that i buy all those expensives music disc...
915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Approximate a Decentralized Exchange on: June 15, 2015, 11:07:10 AM
Because at the end of the day this is a Bitcoin forum, and altcoins are mostly ignored.
Can this technology be applied to Bitcoin? maybe it could be proposed in a BIP. I don't think people is going to be using Qora or whatever only because of that. We need all the good stuff to be integrated into Bitcoin.

ofc man i agree with you, this is a bitcoin forum but you cant ignore whats is happening on those subforums, as you can see there are some good devs who are doing awesome things with alt coins, we should be the first who should not ignore it.

im not a dev, but im 100% sure that good ideas are always welcome Wink

AT is indeed huge and deserves the necessary attention. BTC can implement this technology if decided so. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

When it comes to the usability of altcoins, many people use them and others see opportunities with them. E.g. Qora has so many features that people can use in various ways.

exactly, Wink btw as i sayd what those devs guys do with qora&burst are just awesome.
916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: anyone read this article: The scam called Bitcoin? on: June 15, 2015, 11:00:46 AM
personally i dont like those articles with that type of negative feelings about our BTC, but this is obvious.

now seems like ppl are diverting attention to blockchain instead the whole thing, maybe is a good movement from the elite to distract us? Tongue
917  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: OpenBazaar recibe una inversión angel on: June 14, 2015, 11:39:25 AM

918  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Bug in Stratum Mining Software on: June 14, 2015, 11:32:39 AM
Does anyone know of actual pool that allows this duplicate share submission?

i dont thing that there is stupid enought pools that allow you to do that, why will they allow you to do that? they will loose money if they do that man...

edited: just to quote this, was a better reply than mine Tongue

There is no public disclosure here. You are talking about client software aren't you? No pool software is stupid enough to allow you to submit duplicates and get paid for them and there is plenty of free and open pool software code (mine included) to see. The pools will just rightly reject duplicates.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XMG] Coin Magi | CPU mining | PoS-II | PoM | Unique BLK reward | [MagiPay] on: June 14, 2015, 11:29:32 AM

920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Approximate a Decentralized Exchange on: June 14, 2015, 11:22:38 AM
Did you notice CIYAM AT & ACCT ?

Automated Transactions (AT) is a technology created by CIYAM Developers which provides "Turing complete smart contracts" for any blockchain that implements it.
http://ciyam.org/at/

Atomic Cross Chain Trading
http://ciyam.org/at/at_atomic.html

Burst & Qora just integrated CIYAM AT / ACCT ino their existing chains! More to come soon! IF more communites would integrate AT/ACCT into their chains, then truly decentralized exchanges could get executed.

If you have questions concerning about, don't hesitate to contact me anytime!

Best
jan
CIYAM Developers

i still cant understand why this community didnt notice it yet, is aBIG STEP what the ciyam guys already did between burst&quora and ppl seems like nothing happend or maybe they didnt notice it yet dunno, but for me this a very good news.

They have laid the foundation stone, cmon devs lets continue it is a great beginning but you guys should continue it.
