901  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: March 16, 2017, 03:14:09 PM
There are hackers that make millions of dollars selling 0day exploits of websites, im pretty sure that if you are able to hack exchanges you can make more money than anything you would do by gambling.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When you hear about an altcoin over and over, it is already too late to buy it. on: March 16, 2017, 02:01:25 PM
these days we keep hearing about Dash, Etherum, blahblahblah and how good and awesome they are! where have they been all this time. lol

now here is my 3 year experience:

When you hear about an altcoin specially in massive scale spamming everywhere that means it is already too late to get it and that altcoin is already pumped.

why else did you think everyone is telling "you" about how good it is?  Tongue
if it were good they would have kept it to themselves trying to accumulate more while it is still cheap,

no they do it because they want someone who buys their sell orders. and this has been correct 100% of the time so far. i can't tell you when will the dump begin, but surely enough it will begin.

Simple and basic yet excellent advice. All those profesional pumpers are just getting reading to dump when you see them spamming their shitcoin everywhere.

Yes, you may buy at 100% gains and get another %100, but that is just luck, there's no way to know when a pump is over.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: March 16, 2017, 12:47:50 PM
Mayweather is back at it: New video claiming comeback in june, "let's do it"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2EKIj_pElo

The video already reached near 1 and a half million views. I think it's happening for sure now. What other fight can generate those views in hype videos?

This is an official call out for McGregor, if he refuses to fight then we will know he never really wanted the fight. Floyd is right: He is the A side and Conor is the B side.

Mayweather's been king of boxing for 20 years now and is arguably the greatest defensive fighter of all time. McGregor doesn't stand a chance. Floyd has years of experience and is just as sharp as he was 20 years ago. When McGregor steps in that ring he'll find out why Mayweathers on top.
904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: March 15, 2017, 10:59:53 PM
@bbc , we all know that Conor Macgregor cannot win a boxing match against the best in the world when it comes to boxing and the advantages for Mayweather are many as Conor is by far a amateur boxer by caliber but he does have good accuracy and power when compared to Mayweather and anyone would give Conor a punchers chance to win the match.

The argument is not about that. It is about how this fight is a hustle both by Conor Mcgregor and Floyd Mayweather. They created this drama in social media to garner interest from the boxing and MMA fans. This is not about making a good fight. This is about making money from what might become a boring fight.

MMA is business next is fighting, boxing is business next is fighting and titles. They have the same routine and cycle and bbc is right, it doesn't matter if Conor cannot shift immediately with boxing and it doesn't matter if he will win against Floyd. This is all about the pool money that they are going to collect to get the interest of MMA fans, boxing fans and for the whole sports nation.

This is what I'm telling. Its all about business of making money. But I think its still Floyd who gonna win because he doesn't want his 0 to be taken by someone who is not a boxer. Both will demand a higher percentage of  the revenue. Create hype until such time that the casual fans and hard core fans are willing to buy the ticket for a higher price only to see that the fight is not what they are expecting, a boring one. Although McGregor not only stands to make a ridiculous amount of money by taking the Mayweather fight, but he doesn't has a chance of beating of Floyd.

I think Mayweather would commit suicide if he ever lost, he never wanted to loss, he has the biggest ego in boxing. He always backed it up which is awesome. Some people apparently think playing defensive and winning every time against 49 professionals is easy.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: March 15, 2017, 06:39:12 PM
Yes, because small gambles can satiate your urges to gamble, once you gamble a couple of times you get done with it and forget about it.

Now, if you do bigger gambles, you will be able to do less takes, which means you don't get satiated and will do something stupid and end up with no money.
906  Economy / Speculation / $3000+ on sight for this year after BUcoin disaster on: March 15, 2017, 05:46:58 PM
The fears of a hard fork were bringing clouds on the bitcoin price, with some people planning to short or go back to fiat, but those fears are now cleared after BUcoin collapsed. Now Core can keep doing a good job keeping our BTC safe, the price will keep organically growing, and let's hope that miners start being reasonable after this and adopt segwit, but with or without segwit price will keep going up because bitcoin is still insanely undervalued.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins in a bubble? on: March 15, 2017, 04:11:34 PM
Title says all. Personally I vote bubble. Anything that increases 1000x is too good to be true IMO.

What did increase %1000?

The last massive gains were with XMR ages ago.

I don't know the % of DASH and ETH but they are obviously bubbled. Nothing justifies those rises. Ver is obviously pumping DASH, im not getting anywhere near that shit.
908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BUcoin is officially dead on: March 15, 2017, 12:55:17 PM
i'll be here giving free hugs when you're crying over BU having taken control from Blockstream.  Kiss

Pretty sure you will die before that ever happens. Don't worry, we rich BTC holders with extended life via high tech will attend your funeral, we'll be there to put some flowers.
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: March 14, 2017, 07:07:25 PM
Indeed dice games are the most random games on the planet, you can think that you are going to be lucky that day but you are ultimately wasting your time, the only way to have some control is to play against noobs in real life with a real dice because there are certain techniques to try to make the dice fall in the face you want.
910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forks are highly important on: March 13, 2017, 06:05:49 PM
Look at the Ethereum fork.  Perfect.  Two sides have a difference of opinion.  Neither will budge.  It is a full impasse.

Fork.

Everyone says the world is over.  Chaos everywhere.

Time passes.

More time passes.

One side wins and the chain is fine and perfect and strong again.  The other side proved it was the side destine to die.  That idea is gone forever.  Everyone wins.  The network is improved and the impasse is settled.

Forks are the way to settle a difference of opinion.  Avoiding forks guarantees infinite and endless fighting.

In Bitcoin where everyone is crying about a hard fork - they question never gets settled.  More than two years now, no settlement.
It is just like the Shia and Sunni.  Fighting forever, no settlement.  One side needs to die.

It is like the Jews and Palestinians.  Fighting forever.  day, after day, after day.  killing with no solution.  The impasse assures more killing in the future.

Ethereum settled the fight with a fork where one side dies off.  This is the way to make the network strong.

We need a bitcoin hard fork.  Bitcoin BU and Bitcoin SegWit.  after some time, one side will be better than the other.  The network will be stronger and the impasse and killing will be gone.

The difference is, ETC didn't die, it is still a top coin in poloniex. The result was split wealth. Imagine where ETH would be if ETC event didn't happen.

I guess sometimes hard forks are inevitable tho, we will see what happens. But over a long enough timeline, infinite forks can potentially happen, perpetually making the value lower.

BU has gone about in an incredibly stupid way that shows how goddamn brainless they are.

all they had to do was take the core code, tweak one line of block limit and run with that.

they would prove that larger blocks weren't the end of the world. maybe everyone would agree and then we'd finally progress.

instead they've introduced a bunch of untested messy shit that most people hate. people who previously might have approved of a clean increase won't get behind this.

they're throwing away an opportunity that might have drained this swamp once and for all. instead they're gonna make it all way worse.

Im pretty sure Jihan Wu is state sponsored to cause this shitstorm. Otherwise how can someone with so much vested in bitcoin be this stupid? Roger Ver? no doubt he is an idiot, but Jihan Wu as well? Maybe that is the case, who knows. What is clear is, Jihan Wu benefits from BU since it would make him even stronger under the BU model which is insane.
911  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back to 1,200+ on: March 13, 2017, 04:14:01 PM
where are all the ETF bullshit guys who said we will fall to $800!

 Grin

They are here in the forum, where else would they be? Grin

As they said in an article I read in the cointelegraph, which said that the bitcoin community does not seem to bother much with the ETF's decision and the article explains why bitcoin does not need ETF

https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-bitcoin-didnt-need-an-etf-to-begin-with

I liked reading this article

I don't think there will ever be an approved ETF. I fail to see why the powers that be would allow for that. Maybe they would to try to manipulate the price somehow? Im not sure, but if they accept it is because they can find something that benefits them.

For the time being I think all the ETFs will get rejected and those are opportunities to short since ETF recovers quickly.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 13, 2017, 03:12:11 PM
Here is the timing of the 4th day of testing in Barcelona:

1 Raikkonen  Ferrari        1.18.634s super-soft
2 Verstappen Red Bull     1.19.438s super-soft
3 Sainz         Toro Rosso  1.19.837s ultra-soft
4 Bottas        Mercedes    1.19.845s super-soft
5 Hamilton    Mercedes    1.19.850s ultra-soft
6 Hulkenberg Renault      1.19.885s ultra-soft
7 Perez Force India         1.20.116s ultra-soft
8 Palmer        Renault     1.20.205s ultra-soft
9 Stroll          Williams     1.20.335s soft
10 Alonso      McLaren     1.21.389s ultra-soft
11 Grosjean   Haas          1.21.389s ultra-soft
12 Ericsson    Sauber       1.21.670s super-soft
13 Wehrlein   Sauber       1.23.527s soft

amazing time to Raikonnen, especially considering that he used the supersoft instead of ultrasoft that are more efficient on the fast lap.
We'll see if this ferrari, it's just a bleff or finally be able to fight for the championship.

Nice Ferrari was good reb bull to, but think this is only fake cuz Mercedes is holding cards right now have this feeling.
Can't wait for it to start for real to see how thing are

It's clear that Ferrari had some insane time with that 18.6, I think it's unrealistic and Raikkonen will not have that sort of time again, but hopefully Ferrari is back and fighting for the win because the last years for such a brand have been rather sad.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins to hold during a 20 year long coma on: March 13, 2017, 02:04:36 PM
monero is good

I forgot to add some XMR too in my portfolio if I was to be sleeping for 20 years... but other than that, what's out there? Dash? anyone really thinks Dash will be here in 20 years? they will run out of marketing money eventually.

I would be 20% on alts and 80% on BTC.
914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any place to gamble IF the Mayweather vs McGregor fight will happen? on: March 13, 2017, 12:36:12 PM
@thejaytiesto. Bloodyelbow, who are pundits and know what is going on in fighting sports, are saying this will be a boring fight. I said this is going to be a boring fight, but seeing it being said by the close observers and commentors of the sport and the personalities in it, I can say that is a small validation with what I am thinking. The only people who think it will play out any different are the ones who are riding the hype train.

Again, it will be all about conor getting a lucky punch and potentially KO'ing mayweather. Yes, mayweather will outbox conor, but conor has some brutal punching power, if mayweather gets caught, he can get KO'd. It's hard but not impossible:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ofeqQ_ljCk

So the excitement is in conor getting the lucky punch or not.

So this fight is really possible to happen now. I just saw it on facebook and specific with the "The Worldwide Sport Of Boxing" page. The fight will happen on June 2017. This will make another billion dollars for Floyd. This is a shame to McGregor fighting with a quack duck that knows nothing but to keep on running.

Lol what kind of idiot says "mayweather knows nothing but running", you dont know shit about boxing.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins to hold during a 20 year long coma on: March 13, 2017, 11:57:31 AM
The only coin worth holding long term today is obviously bitcoin, but I would like to add some ETH too, even if I don't like it, it seems it's getting supports from big business and TPTB for some reason.

Then I would add in a small amount of Maid, just in case they figure out how to make it work eventually.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 12, 2017, 07:08:08 PM
It sucks to still not see Alonso on the top5. Alonso is one of the most talented drivers of all time, but the teams after renault somehow always keep fucking around with the cars. It's unfortunate. I thought he was going to become the next Schumacher but if the car is not good you can't have the dominating best car + best pilot killer combo.

At least its good to see good ol Raikkonen still kicking ass.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Joe (r3r) CLOAK lead developer did an interview with Bill Still on: March 12, 2017, 05:13:31 PM
I remember Bill Still a couple years ago, he was reporting bitcoin almost daily, then he started reporting some other altcoins, he started shilling Quarkcoins almost daily, probably was getting paid to do so. He was selling it as the next big thing, we all know how it went.

I have no idea about CLOAK so I dont want to talk shit about a thing I dont know, im just saying, beware with famous people talking about altcoins in big shows, specially when they throw shit at bitcoin and claim they can fix it and how they will take over the #1 spot. Everyone wants to take the #1 spot away from bitcoin, they always talk shit about bitcoin but can they back it up?

PS: Also notice Bill Still forgot about bitcoin for 1+ year after the crash, now that the price is surging he comes back. If he wanted to be useful he would have told his viewers to buy when it was cheap.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think "iamnotback" really has the" Bitcoin killer"? on: March 12, 2017, 04:04:00 PM
Thanks for input. I cant wait to see all of this in code and see it running in the wild. That is the final test.

About my lack of sleep, I deprived myself on purpose because the night before I was still deciding what to do and couldn't sleep much, then the fuckers on the ETF delayed the decision for hours so I had to stay awake.
On top of that I somehow fucked up when I was putting the buy order in poloniex in USDT, I normally click on the amount I have if I want to go all in so it automatically fills all the fields to make the order with all of the USDT I had, but the order wasn't going through because the total was higher than the USDT I had by like 45 satoshis so I had to manually adjust the order, in a matter of second the price went from the bottom 950 back to almost 1000. I could have made a lot of money but I didn't risk enough and I was sloppy setting the buy order so missed some profit.
Anyway it was fun and I made money, now I wonder if there will be another speculative party in march 30 for the Solid X ETF.

Also I also feel better at night, I actually feel good and more lucid, in the morning im sloppy, after I have breakfast I feel like going to sleep again, bad cold tolerance etc. At night is great. If I knew how to code I would code at night and I could get shit done, but I can't code cause my brain is good at music and artistic stuff but I was always bad at stuff that requires the sort of attention and logic that good coders have.
I think it might me about cortisol levels or whatever. I can't get much done cause I don't have the money I would need to do proper research. At least I feel ok at night. I might try forcing myself to go to sleep earlier for a period and wake up early and get some morning sun and see what happens. Maybe I fucked up my circadian rhythm due staying up late too much and this has an impact on thyroid, cold tolerance etc... after I do this then I will get some labs done again, get TSH, t4, t3, reverse t3, antibodies, iron levels, and some other hormones, and a 24hour urine test with cortisol free and total, 17 ketosteroids...+ a couple saliva samples for a proper cortisol curve and see if this changed anything. If there is no positive adaptation and I see no improvement in the morning and cold tolerance then I will have to look deeper, adjust thyroid meds and whatnot. I also got a test where they look at hairs and see mineral levels and toxic levels with inconclusive results. The problem is, it is very difficult to find a dr that can interpret such results and follow your case by step and get involved, and if you do then you need to have a lot of money which I don't. Anyway I don't want to derail the thread, my case is not that bad, most people have sluggish thyroids nowadays, I would like to have better cold tolerance and better mornings but having optimal health is pretty difficult because healthcare drs usually will not take a case like mine serious so you need to find and and pay a good one.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think "iamnotback" really has the" Bitcoin killer"? on: March 11, 2017, 06:20:39 PM
OpenShare sounds cool to me, it is clean and descriptive. Lucid sounds elegant, the SHARES token is also clean, descriptive, sort of like a standard. Personally I like 3 letter tokens  but I guess there is not much space left since due so many altcoins existing tons of token names are already taken.

Im not sure if I asked this since I have bad memory but I would like to know (you probably addressed this in other posts so you can just link it), if the model is deflationary or what, and what is the total supply, how coins are created, at what rate etc.

I think there is a psychological factor in how those variables are tuned. I think people tend to like total supplies that are around XX millions due bitcoin setting the precedent, and they expect bigger prices per unit that way, even tho ultimately all that matters is marketcap and it is the same if the supply was bigger, it would just be divided by a bigger number so the price per coin would be smaller. But like I said before, there is something psychological or something. In my mind total supplies like bitcoin weight more (as in physical weight), and bigger supplies like MAID or whatever, weight less... weird I know, but the feeling is there. Bitcoin makes me think of pieces of gold, and coins with huge amounts of total supply make me feel of something not as solid, more portable.
PoW also makes me think the coin is more heavy, PoS makes it weight less... etc.
I hope this makes sense, just want to know if you considered any of this. Maybe this is all irrelevant but I find those psychological perceptions into intangible things interesting and wonder if they really make a difference when investing. I know there's people that only invest in PoS coins, with XX millions total supply, a known total supply (no coin generation past that fixed number) and a coin release similar to bitcoin because otherwise they think it's a waste of time since they will not appreciate with time so they will not get rich. zcash was an example of a disaster when those parameters are not properly set, looks like the coin will stagnate forever regardless of its technology while the marketcap grows.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zcash/

I know this post is sort of a mess cause I didn't sleep for 25 hours due the ETF so im going to bed. At least I made 1.5 BTC, USDT was good enough to get the job done without a poloniex verified account. I wish I risked more but oh well.
920  Economy / Speculation / Re: after the denial of the ETF , what will be the next hype train to jump onboard? on: March 11, 2017, 04:53:49 PM
Well.

POSITIVE EVENTS INCOMING :

- weak failing euro
- weak failing Yuan
- weak failing fiat money in general
- elections europe
- increasing demand worldwide, newbies with big nuts will get on board in this little dip and hold because otherwise they lose money
- decreasing volatility
- market woud be fully recovered in just a week
- Trump policy will cause borders that we can overcome with btc

NEGATIVE EVENTS INCOMING ;

- China
- What will happen with BTC in USA ? Reputation damaged ?
- technical issues
- altcoin taking over now BTC is wounded ?

So still get hyped and buy more.

Nobody can stop btc , not Gox, not Pboc , not failing Winklesucks twins.

Btc will defeat all enemy's.

Good readup, but I think I would add in negative events incoming, the fact that we have this prick Jihan Wu along with Roger Ver trying to push their BU agenda which would potentially set back bitcoin 3 or 4 years in a hashrate mining war.

I hope Core wins at the end, otherwise I may be forced to dump everything. Im not trusting my money in BUcoin.
