901  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent Loss of Bitcoins Over Time on: November 16, 2012, 10:18:25 AM
Over time bitcoins will be lost, and by lost I mean forever.  Inevitably wallets will be corrupted or deleted and can't be recovered.  Inevitably someone with bitcoins will die and their heirs will not know how to recover them, if they know of the coins at all.  In theory this loss could add up significantly over a long period of time.  With the total number of bitcoins capped what are the implications?

I think the chance of every single satoshi being lost within the next 100 million years would be 1 in 1 trillion. As technology improves, we will eventually have no data loss at all.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha!
Might be hard to believe mate, but it is true. I can double anything I get within a couple of days. Then I send cold hard cash to the investor anywhere in the world. All I need is an address. It cost me absolutely nothing to do, and it's the easiest money the investor will ever make.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha!

YouTube's always been a great way for people to communicate and talk about new things.
Most of the people there make videos to earn some extra cash and many actually make a living out of it.

All the top channels (with the most subscribers) sell things like t-shirts, hats, bracelets, etc... to have an extra cash flow.

What if
...they start selling their stuff with Bitcoins?
...they start accepting donations with Bitcoins?

EDIT: And of course, we can start some funding and pay for those top youtubers to use a Bitcoin T-Shirt.

We should make a small presentation and an explanation how they can enjoy Bitcoin.

I leave some of the channels I watch every week:

Bought the bitcoin magazines. Man, paying with bitpay is so awesome. It's so smooth, you'd almost think you forgot to fill out some fields.

My thoughts exactly.

...gotta love Bitcoin.

I just made a purchase for that ClixSense link and I have a few questions.

Why do you deduct 2 views for 1 view.
And why do you deduct views before the waiting time has elapsed.

Does anybody buy the CoinURL vouchers ?

What do you do with the vouchers if you happen to get one from DailyBitcoins.org ?

Spend them with referral links.

Didn't you say you would buy them?

And I bought a few, but I don't need more for now.

918  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: This is Bob. Bob is doing very well b/c he joined the CoinDL Affiliate Program on: November 07, 2012, 05:39:08 PM
Why do you need name, phone, address, city, province, postal code and country to join the affiliate program?

In case we need to send any legal/tax notices.
It's an affiliate program, we're not buying or selling anything, besides, this is Bitcoin.

920  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [CoinURL] All ways to monetize your content! on: November 07, 2012, 02:45:38 PM
Another temporary solution for publishers who use SSL banner calls - add "&ssl=1" to the request code, e.g.
https://coinurl.com/get.php?id=1781&ssl=1
It still breaks the secure connection.
Very strange, for me it works fine. Place "https://coinurl.com/get.php?id=1781&ssl=1" into iframe src on CoinAd and let me check.
I thought you were saying this: "http://coinurl.com/get.php?id=1781&ssl=1"

Sorry  Wink
